The ACLU has gained massive numbers of new members. Trump has united Liberals in a way that no one else could.

Trump is not a social conservative.

Republicans will spend the next 4 or 8 years desperately trying to justify every action that Trump makes regardless if it even needs justification.

Republicans will have to reluctantly admit that Obama wasn't that bad.

Feel free to add your own.

Trump changes his positions on issues without hesitation. So, IMO, we don't know yet whether he's a social conservative or not. We don't really know much about Trump except by his actions. Like his cabinet picks .... All predatory Plutocrats and generals.

With the exception of women, He's not shown any problems with religion, sexual preference or race.

Trump is predatory. He is stacking the government with people openly working to destroy Social Security, medicare, welfare, the min wage, labor rights, voting rights, any rule of law for the executive branch of government. The people Trump put in place are openly calling for the elimination of clean air, clean water access to food, and more. That says a lot about what we will see if we wait. Without the ability of the public to get votes counted we will not be able to elect anyone else, no matter how bad Trump is. The republicans will continue to blame the democrats for everything the GOP destroys. Knowing they cannot lose the election, they will pillage our nation at unprecedented rates.

So waiting till after 4 years of devastation won't get us anywhere, except many people will die, we need to act now!

Oynupside to trump is maybe the democrats will start listening to the middle class, and stop running party cookie cutter politicians like Hillary and give us a real contender like Bernie who had charisma and no skeletons in his closet.

I think Bernie would have been a wonderful president although I would have loved to see Hillary become the first woman president. Maybe one upside to Trump becoming pres is that after 4 years, the country may finally realize that we need to unite and spread love to our fellow man, regardless of color, religion, or belief.

The fact that Trump is facing so much opposition from so many different factions, Even in his own party, is encouraging.

Remember Nixon was a staunch conservative and signed off on some of the most liberal policy in American history.

I do see a bit of talk, but very little substance. A great many are falling in line behind Trump to destroy our nation. Trump is offering them a portion of the pillage.

It's good that Trump's own party are alarmed by him also. It may make it harder for him to push his agenda. But look a his cabinet! Never in American history has there been a more predatory group of billionaires, racists and elitists. They seem poised to destroy the very agencies they were picked to lead. The rest are generals. Flynn seems like the worst crackpot of all.

Many in Nixon's cabinet, while no angels, were far better suited for their jobs.
