Trump Supporters Aren’t Politically Incorrect, They’re Fragile, Racist

One thing I have noticed since Donald Trump first announced that he was running for president is that his supporters love to pride themselves on being “politically incorrect.” I’m not talking about being politically incorrect in terms of refusing to use preferred pronouns for transgender people or saying “the blacks” as he has often done. Instead, Trump supporters enjoy using dog whistle racism, sexism, and otherwise hateful speech, and then claiming that they’re “just telling it like it is” while mocking anyone who calls them out on their shit.

It is true that the left can be overly sensitive. Sometimes we see racism and prejudice in black and white instead of various shades of gray, and sometimes we get upset about things that really aren’t worth our time. So what if a bunch of old white men want to get together and go to a Ted Nugent concert at the local casino? The Nuge is a racist assbag, but is that the most important thing to get wound up about when conservative states are pushing voter id laws meant to keep minorities from voting?

So yes, the left can get offended by the stupidest shit, but the people who support Donald Trump are great cases of hypocrisy when it comes to political correctness.

Remember when they all lost their minds when Hillary Clinton stated that half of Trump supporters were members of a “basket of deplorables”? Trump said far worse about many more people, and even though Mrs. Clinton apologized for her statement, the people who voted for him still wallow in the butthurt of being called deplorable to this day.

As much as the far-right loves to dish out insults and stereotypes while bragging how they’re politically incorrect, they sure get offended when you return fire, even on a much less vitriolic level. Don’t forget that these folks lose their minds every time Starbucks has a holiday coffee cup, and they’re outraged when you don’t say “Merry Christmas.”

I’m not one of those people who gets upset about being called names by the far-right or even Neo-Nazis. In fact, I collect insults and death threats like trophies, and I’ll even put a steel-toed boot in the teeth of a Neo-Nazi if and when it is called for. I’ve done it before, and I’ll happily do it again.

This is the approach the left needs to take in dealing with fascists for as long as they control our government. Don’t be afraid to stand up and speak out. Don’t be afraid to invade their safe spaces and kick over the rocks they hide under.

some Trump supporters are certainly quite as a matter of fact racists, and so to is he. Trump is a racist or at least it doesn't seem to bother him that he uses racists tones almost freely all the time. As a president of the U.S. I have to say that is really really bad for the whole group of people he now represents, you, me, everybody!

So we will stand up. We simply must. We should all be sick of racism by now, but let's not point fingers because racists just are by themselves by what they do and say, they just are. And I have to say, I feel sorry for them.

Peace!

I had a Trump supporter threaten me on Facebook and I then asked him where he lives so I can find out how much of a man he thinks he is and he kept diverting the question to something else. I may like cute cats, but I am a very tough male who's Liberal but has a soft side. ^_^

I think it's funny when the conservatives complain about PC speech on one hand and then go ballistic when someone says "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas", or fails to use the term "radical Islam" in describing a terrorist act. They have their very own version of PC speech.

Yes, Trump is an awful person and he suckered poor folks with the promise of jobs. But there are also well educated, affluent people who knew very well what Trump represents and voted for him because they know they are gonna get another tax cut. I suspect my parents are that kind

Great posting! You have hit the nail right on the head!! :)

Indeed, Liberals need to ALWAYS stand up to Conservatives when they are under attack or when they see or read some of their crap that isn't worth the toilet paper it is always written on.
