"Sir Richard Dearlove, the former head of the British spy agency MI6, suggested recently that President Donald Trump* may still be haunted by loans, linked to Russia, that were made after U.S. creditors refused to lend to him.

In what The Sun called a “bombshell accusation”, Dearlove told Prospect magazine that Trump may be under the thumb of Russians due to loans made to keep his business afloat following the 2008 financial collapse.

“What lingers for Trump may be what deals — on what terms — he did after the financial crisis of 2008 to borrow Russian money when others in the west apparently would not lend to him,” Dearlove, who headed MI6 from 1999 through 2004, said.

The former spy also weighed in on recent White House claims that President Barack Obama used the British eavesdropping agency GCHQ to spy on Trump’s campaign, which he called “deeply embarrassing.”

“For Trump and the administration, that is,” Dearlove added. “The only possible explanation is that Trump started tweeting without understanding how the NSA-GCHQ relationship actually works.”

Don't forget the balls as well. Trump seems to think he has the Dems and GOP by the balls but rest assure they will both prove him wrong.   That is assuming he "thinks" at all.

He's gonna be impeached anyway.   Before even taking office, Donald Trump is facing charges of bribery, corruption, nepotism, discrimination, fraud, inciting violence, and more than a dozen instance

This is the next bubble to burst....and it will be a biggie. The lending practices and government subsidiaries that promote them. This tyoe of crap is also effecting Charter schools..   They want to

"Lim Eul Chul, a North Korea expert at South Korea’s Kyungnam University, doesn’t think Trump wants to attack North Korea but said he appears eager to send a message that war is possible.

That has driven North Korea to issue its own threats and begin preparations for “even a 1 percent chance that the U.S. will launch pre-emptive strikes,” Lim said. “That’s just how the authoritarian Kim government survives.”

The Kyunghyang Shinmun newspaper said recently that Trump is playing a “dangerous card” with his verbal threats, risking a miscalculation by Pyongyang and a war on the peninsula.

“Trump seems capable of doing anything, and he might choose to strike the North before it’s technologically able to strike back,” said Ray Kim, a 39-year-old Seoul resident. “Even if a war breaks out, it’s not like that war will take place on U.S. soil. Trump has much less to lose.”

"The U.S. House of Representatives Intelligence Committee said on Friday it had invited FBI, NSA and Obama administration officials to testify as it restarts its investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. election.

After stalling over the committee chairman's ties to President Donald Trump's White House and disagreements over who should testify, the bipartisan committee said it sent a letter inviting James Comey, director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Admiral Mike Rogers, director of the National Security Agency, to appear behind closed doors on May 2.

A second letter invited three officials who left the government as President Barack Obama's administration ended - former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates - to appear at a public hearing to be scheduled after May 2.

The planned hearings are the first the committee has announced since its chairman, Republican Representative Devin Nunes, recused himself from the Russia investigation on April 6 after receiving information at the White House about surveillance that swept up some information about members of Trump's transition team.

Echoing Trump, Nunes suggested that Obama's administration had handled that information incorrectly."

"Trumps critics are actively exploring the path to impeachment or the invocation of the Twenty-fifth Amendment, which allows for the replacement of a President who is judged to be mentally unfit. During the past few months, I interviewed several dozen people about the prospects of cutting short Trump’s Presidency. I spoke to his friends and advisers; to lawmakers and attorneys who have conducted impeachments; to physicians and historians; and to current members of the Senate, the House, and the intelligence services.

By any normal accounting, the chance of a Presidency ending ahead of schedule is remote. In two hundred and twenty-eight years, only one President has resigned; two have been impeached, though neither was ultimately removed from office; eight have died. But nothing about Trump is normal."

"Like many American firms that come to China looking for money, Kushner Companies on Sunday tried to woo a Shanghai audience with promises of potentially big returns and a path toward living in the United States.

But for Bi Ting, who attended the event, part of the appeal was political: Jared Kushner is the son-in-law of — and a powerful adviser toPresident Trump. Virtually unheard-of in China just months ago, he is now known here as a deeply influential figure in American politics.

Though Mr. Kushner has said that he has stepped back from the day-to-day operations of the family business, filings show he and Ivanka Trump, his wife and the president’s daughter, continue to benefit from Kushner Companiesreal estate and investment businesses.

The Trump relationship is an extra point for me,” Ms. Bi said, adding that she and her husband had not decided whether to invest.

The Kushner CompaniesChina roadshow, promoting $500,000 investments in New Jersey real estate as the path to a residency card in the United States, moved to Shanghai on Sunday after a similar pitch on Saturday in Beijing.

Security was tighter in Shanghai than it had been in Beijing, where reporters for The New York Times and The Washington Post briefly attended the event before being kicked out."

"President Trumps* son, Eric, once told a golf writer that funding for Trump golf courses come from Russia, that writer recounted in a new interview.

James Dodson during an interview Friday with Boston’s WBUR described meeting Donald Trump in 2014 and being invited to play golf at the Trump National Golf Club Charlotte.

He said asked Donald Trump how he was paying for his courses, and the now-president sort of tossed off that he had access to $100 million,” Dodson said in the interview.

Dodson said he then questioned Eric Trump, who was along for the day.

"I said, 'Eric, who’s funding? I know no banks — because of the recession, the Great Recession — have touched a golf course. You know, no one’s funding any kind of golf construction. It’s dead in the water the last four or five years,'” the writers told WBUR.

"And this is what he said. He said, 'Well, we dont rely on American banks. We have all the funding we need out of Russia.' I said, 'Really?' And he said, 'Oh, yeah. Weve got some guys that really, really love golf, and theyre really invested in our programs. We just go there all the time.’"

The US journalists that are permanently stationed at the White House were not let in.

U.S. photographers were apparently prevented from attending the meeting in the Oval Office. So how do we have pictures of it? The meeting was reported to be private, but photographers from the state-run TASS of Russia were there.
