Hillary Clinton's campaign is being urged by a number of top computer scientists to call for a recount of vote totals in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, according to a source with knowledge of the request.

The computer scientists believe they have found evidence that vote totals in the three states could have been manipulated or hacked and presented their findings to top Clinton aides on a call last Thursday.
The scientists, among them J. Alex Halderman, the director of the University of Michigan Center for Computer Security and Society, told the Clinton campaign they believe there is a questionable trend of Clinton performing worse in counties that relied on electronic voting machines compared to paper ballots and optical scanners, according to the source.

Just out today:

Mrs. Clinton’s lead now exceeds the winning percentages of seven presidents, five of whom also won the Electoral College. And it has given rise to a push from liberal activists to demand audits in three states won narrowly by Mr. Trump: Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

And this:

Clinton fans aren’t giving up hope of victory

As Mrs. Clinton’s lead in the popular vote grows, some of her most ardent supporters are clinging to hope that she could still win the election.

A Change.org petition has garnered more than four million signatures urging Electoral College “electors” in some states to ignore the will of the voters and back Mrs. Clinton, reminding them that they could do so without any legal penalty.

The electors will cast their ballots on Dec. 19. On Twitter, the hashtags #AuditTheVote and #AuditTheElection have become rallying cries for supporters of Mrs. Clinton who are directing people to flood the Justice Department with telephone calls about voting irregularities. The push is also taking place on Facebook, where calls are growing for a full investigation into Russia’s role in the election.

Even the sister of Huma Abedin, a top aide to Mrs. Clinton, weighed in, noting the tantalizingly slim margin that Mrs. Clinton would need to make up in three swing states — Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania — to come out on top in the Electoral College.

“They are starting to recognize there really is something off about the election results as they come in,” Heba Abedin wrote. “Considering everything that is at stake, a vote audit should be done.”

If nothing else, I suggest tying up the election results in courts for as long as possible; thus preventing the damage for as long as possible. I believe that a great many lives will be snuffed out by a Trump presidency, for no good reason other than Trump will attempt to consolidate his power, blaming and killing as he goes. We can at least attempt to postpone the mass killings.

The Electoral College does NOT support Representative Government. It was originally a scheme to throw more votes to wealthy land owners. Now, it acts to give more representation to low-population, Conservtive-leaning states. The Electoral College is antiquated and should be replaced with the popular vote.

Hillary Clinton is winning the national popular vote by more than two million votes

Clinton’s popular vote lead is now so substantial that it can be compared not merely with losers of the presidency but with winners. The former secretary of state enjoys a popular-vote advantage that is now 15 times greater than that of John Kennedy over Richard Nixon in 1960. Her lead is now more than three times greater than that of Richard Nixon over Hubert Humphrey in 1968. It has even surpassed that of Jimmy Carter over Gerald Ford in 1976.

Clinton’s margin will grow significantly, as it is estimated that several million votes have yet to be counted in western states (particularly California) that encourage high turnouts, that are meticulous about the process of counting absentee and provisional ballots, and that have strongly favored Clinton in this election. Clinton has also picked up tens of thousands of votes as local and state election officials in Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey and other states continue standard reviews of vote tabulations. Wasserman and others now estimate that the Democratic ticket is likely to finish with a popular-vote advantage over Trump of roughly 2.5 million.

According to the NY times article time is running out to challenge the election results in those three states. The earliest one being Friday. I am surprised that the White House does not want Clinton to challenge the results. Although there is no concrete evidence that the results of the electronic machines are incorrect, the pattern that has been identified should be investigated and the only way to do that would be to challenge the results

Remember the GOP tied up the election of Al Franken in the courts waiting till every ballot was counted. That prevented the democrats from having a majority in the senate for several months. The democrats should do the same. It is clear to many that the election was fraudulent, and Trump has no right to take office before the evidence for fraud is resolved.

This is like as simple as cookies replaced in the cookie jar. Russia opened up the Democrats oatmeal cookies, then took some oatmeal cookies and replaced them with Republican fudge bars. We caught Russia's hand in the oatmeal cookies, we shouldn't be surprised the cookie jar has more fudge bars on tally.

I hope Hillary proves she is a fighter. Fight for our cookies! Re-fill the jar! We should do more than re-count, we should re-vote on paper.
