We can't risk losing in 2020. Make sure the next candidate is OURS

Most Trump (and Sanders) voters voted against more of the same. Smart and high information as far as I am concerned. As for the fringe voters, no different than the fanatics who voted for Crooked Hillary.

What about Trump`s economic policies isn't more of the same

What about Trump`s economic policies isn't more of the same

I have no idea what his economic policies will be like. My guess is that he an Congress will quickly coalesce around spending $trillions on more "infrastructure" projects (taking from the Obama playbook) which will all end up in the top .1 of 1% of which he is a glorious member.

People were voting anti-establishment as they are voting all around the world. The Banks have taken over, thanks to Clinton and Obama, and they are feeding $trillions to the Elite at the expense of the working class that gets the debt.

Absolutely nothing will stop this other than a return of Glass-Steagall.

It's textbook conhole. Yuuuge corporate tax cut, repeal of Dodd~Frank and an assortment of "growth stimulating" measures that basically translate into deregulation and privatizing. It's not like there is anything new under the sun here. Maybe I'm dumb but I just don't see the anti establishment thingy here.

The only thing that is anti establishment about Trump is his hair. Show me an american outsider who can lose close to a billion in a year and come out looking like a pirate. I get that you don't think much of Hillary but she never pulled shit like that. Her economic proposals were soud within the framework that this rigged system allows. And thinking that one election could undo decades of entrenching fuckery is delusional. You wanna bring this mother down on the quick, you better get your gun out. You aint gonna vote yourself outa this mess anytime soon.

The anti-establishment part was when Sanders called the system rigged and Trump called Clinton crooked. Music to the ears of the downtrodden.

And I'm glad to have you in the coalition.

The concerns we share will be lost causes if and when the left makes war on the Democratic party, and when people who identify left don't vote.

This election was tragic.

Bill

Ridiculous. The left isn't making war on the Democratic Party. The left is just demanding a return to the leftist ideals that the party used to espouse and promote.

Nobody is "making war." The majority will most certainly vote (providing there's a decent candidate to vote for).

However we need good candidates who are going to work hard for the people (versus the wealthy donors, big corporations, or the lobbyists). Gone are the days where people are going to vote for whomever "the party" foists on the electorate.

FDR started the policies that, by the 1950s and 60s created a prosperous middle class. It lasted through the administrations of Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Ford and Carter. When Reagan took office in 1980, the great wave of outsourcing and union busting began. Just as there was a lag before FDR's policies began to really benefit the public, Reagan's actions took awhile to take hold and general prosperity lasted through the mid 1990s, when standards of living began to drop. Every president since Reagan has continued, more or less, in his footsteps

The Democratic party stands squarely for liberal values, not leftist values. That's been the case since FDR. Nothing has changed.

FDR beat back the leftists in the 1930s. He was a liberal who defended liberalism from attacks by the Left..

Obama and the Clintons are no less liberals than Truman, Kennedy, and Carter.

So Trump, from your perspective, it a voice of the downtrodden?

While Obama and Clinton are their slave-masters? Do we have this right?

Sorry, I didn't realize I had the moral authority to speak with you.

In the meantime, keep up the good fight. It takes a special kind of courage to stand up for the Billionaire Class and its Plutocratic Puppets. Especially when so many have just been thrown out of their jobs right after they bought all of their new mansions, expecting an easy win.

Clinton repealed one of FDR's most Liberal achievements: Glass Steagall. Roosevelt is turning in his grave.

FDR and other economists at the time understood precisely what caused the great wealth concentration that preceded the collapse of the financial system and the Great Depression. Glass-Steagall was put in place to prevent a repetition. Everything was fine until Clinton, the neo-cons and neo-liberals successfully repealed it. Now we have the precise works economic conditions that led to the Great Depression and the subsequent rise of economic nationalism. If Fascism rises again, it is a direct result of Clinton's and Obama's neo-liberal policies (i.e. gushing up economics).

Excellent point.

And by default, to inveigh, against all the ordinary people, whose lives are being affected so grievously.

Leftists are only not liberals in SpyCar World. In the real world, leftists can be and often are liberals, especially in the USA.

No holds barred chat

  • Hey kfools.. does this help?

  • By Vegas

    Liberals are going to hell.

  • grgle

  • Where’s at @slideman?

  • Hola

  • I know this one, this new chat thing. I've seen it called the "shoutbox" among other things in my past. Very hard to hide from the chat box. The question is asked, there's no time to go search what other folks think, this is real time. Only seconds should be between chat box replies. This one is made for me. In the chat box one has to be quick on their feet with stuff at the ready. This chat box is the worst nightmare of anyone trying to deal with ol' teach.

  • By pmurT

hey @teacher that sounds like too much work for me LOL I need that useless thing called *time* in order to authenticate facts and truths which get posted by deceitful Dems

  • What does the red number refer to? currently, on my screen it says 2

  • Where does it say 2?

  • So. In the chat....if you tag a member the text afterwards should be a private message.

  • How do? I'm teacher. If I'm online and the powers that be can figure out how to make it immediately apparent to me that whatever I've said here has been replied to I'm gonna show up right quick and kick some teeth in. It's the chat box, all this is new and scary. I know this gig. This starts now.

  • Hey kfools, did you lose your securtiy cert? On my browser it is saying your site is not secure?

  • Mine too. I'm looking into it.

  • Mine too.

  • I thought it was my location..

  • Just gave to renew the security cert. No big deal I'll do it tonight

  • OK thanks

  • Happy Anniversary, America... on your Civil Union.

Scroll the other way for a while and you'll see me saying that these days the chat box ain't gonna work as one has to be quick on one's feet. The question is posed, there ain't no stinkin time for ya'll to refer to your betters for the answer, ya'll don't understand these things, this political debate, ya'll don't have the answer at hand, ya'll haven't thought this through, ya'll ain't ready for the next question I'll ask,  ya'll can't handle the pace that a bloke such as I can bring it in the chat box, ya'll can't handle this format.

This one is made for me.
