A giant chunk of socialism to wealthy corporate tax dollar moochers.

Privatization is word that deceives most people such as taxpayers. Conservatives are so screwed and unscrupulous.

Our awful Government services for the people that do not work will be handed over to anti tax USA corporations which in essence funnels trillions of OUR TAX DOLLARS into private bank accounts.

BIG TIME SOCIALISM!!!! Oh shit how can it be???

Looks like it deceived you as well. You haven't reflected on what it does honestly, just as truly practiced socially?

want a genetic interpretaiton of privatization. allowing an individual to keep their individuality and not become property to another mindset of brains thinking as one mind everyone else must obey their vernacular or get erased from adapting in the moment by exile or execution for crimes against humanity as it is illegal to be completely honest around those defending a faith reality matters and self evident results don't count statistically..

These vouchers that conservatives love is another word for subsidizing corporate welfare that allows profiteers to skim big bucks off the top in which some of that likely comes back to

politicians as "campaign donations".

Turning over government medical care programs to private industry = higher cost to taxpayers to cover the cost of profits, golden parachutes, advertising, special interest campaign money and reckless spending in general.

Privatization in general = higher cost to taxpayers to cover the cost of profits, golden parachutes, advertising, special interest campaign money and reckless spending in general.

Privatization = funneling enormous quantities of tax dollars into the "cookie jars" of large campaign contributors at the expense of excellent services.

Medicare CANNOT afford the medical insurance industry ...... has anybody been paying attention to the medical insurance premium increases? Sponsored by the medical insurance industry. The medical insurance industry is the only point at which increases in premiums can occur.

Their spin about Obamacare is bullshit. When medicare becomes a victim of Wall Street grab your wallets because Paul Ryan will turn a blind eye to the tax dollar increases that which will occur hidden under the umbrella of vouchers.

Watching people trying to talk economics on this forum makes me want to eat my hands. You are oversimplifying this scenario to a degree that makes it hard to take seriously. Privatization can be good or bad, or neutral, depending on the situation and how it is implemented. The way you talk about it makes it apparent that you have no higher education in this area.

Privatization is funneling trillions of tax dollars into private corporation bank accounts to do with what they please. Today in America private corporations put the bottom line first and very little back into the business.

We can’t allow Donald Trump and Paul Ryan to ram through a privatization scheme that will dismantle Social Security and Medicare as we know them, leaving the American people at the mercy of Wall Street and the health insurance industry.

GOP/ALEC Anti American Privatization scams are not rocket science. More like a simple case of massive fraud.

Medicare and Social Security users pay their way.

GOP/ALEC Anti American Privatization profiteers do not pay their way for they are the tax dollar moochers.

Why am I not surprised that this idiot doesn't understand privatization? Frankly, I'm surprised he spelled it correctly.

We can’t allow Donald Trump and Paul Ryan to ram through a privatization scheme that will dismantle Social Security and Medicare as we know them

Socialism is about group think legally allowed to take liberties from ancestors trying to be themselves and not play a role staging societal evolution as a global theater of the mind context when ignoring self evident content.

malcontents with self containment faking the idea of over throwing the time they have to exist simultaneously, only done mentally.

moral denial and if anyone doesn't agree, they are anti social.

Privatization shakes down our wallets and bank accounts while providing endless special interest campaign dollars to the promoters of such.

What a sweet deal. Conservatives want a pile of tax dollar supported services that will allow funneling tax dollars back to their puppets aka legislators.

SAY NO TO PRIVATIZATION that which will never ever reduce the cost of government services. Think PAY MORE GET LESS!!!

MORE SOCIALISM FOR THE WEALTHY ---- YEP.

Libertarian ideology favors privatization. However, in practice privatization is usually very different in result than libertarian ideology postulates. Almost always, privatization becomes a way for well-connected private interests to loot both the public purse and the general welfare.

Most privatizations, such as those that have occurred in France and UK during the neoliberal era, and in Greece today and Ukraine tomorrow, are lootings of public assets by politically-connected private interests.

Another form of privatization is to turn traditional government functions, such as prison operation and many supply functions of the armed services, such as feeding the troops, over to private companies at a large increase in cost to the public. Essentially, the libertarian ideology is used to provide lucrative public contracts to a few favored persons who then reward the politicians. This is called “free enterprise.”

The privatization of prisons in the US is an example of the extraordinary cost and injustice of privatization. Privatization of prisons requires ever higher rates of incarceration in order to build profitability. The US, supposedly “a land of liberty” has by far the highest incarceration rates of all countries. The “free” US has not only the highest percentage of its population in prison but also the highest absolute number. “Authoritarian” China with four times the US population has fewer citizens in prison.

This article shows how well prison privatization works for well-connected private interests: http://www.globalresearch.ca/privatization-of-the-us-prison-system/5377824

It also shows the extraordinary shame, corruption, and discredit that prison privatization has brought to the US.

A few years ago I wrote about the conviction of two judges who were paid by privatized juvenile detention facilities to sentence kids to their facilities.

As Alain of Lille and later Karl Marx said, “Money is all.” In America money is all that is
important to the political system and to the bulk of the population. Essentially, America has no other values.

Another great libertarian fantasy is Wall Street. In the libertarian mythology Wall Street is the mother of entrepreneurs and of the start-up companies that blossom into industrial, manufacturing, and commercial giants. In actual fact, Wall Street is the mother of enormous corruption. As Nomi Prins shows in All The President’s Bankers, it has always been the case.

Recently, there has been a spate of Wall Street whistleblowers. Many are reported by Pam Martens on her site, Wall Street On Parade, http://wallstreetonparade.com/2014/04/insiders-tell-all-both-the-stock-market-and-the-sec-are-rigged/

Claim without rationale.

The only argument against privatization here is 'Privatization of prisons requires even higher rates of incarceration...' If you are not making and substantiating the claim that privatization of prisons actually causes higher rates of incarceration then this doesn't actually say anything. You are saying if X is true, then... nothing.

This article shows how well prison privatization works for well-connected private interests: http://www.globalresearch.ca/privatization-of-the-us-prison-system/5377824

I have read the article. All it shows is that through privatization, inmates are utilised in a highly efficient manner to produce real goods for the economy. Unless you can substantiate that companies making money is inherently detrimental, there is no conclusion to be drawn from this.

It also shows the extraordinary shame, corruption, and discredit that prison privatization has brought to the US.

I did not conclude this from the article. I do not see you drawing a connection from the article to substantiate this claim, only making the claim itself as if it is self-evident. You have to actually draw the conclusion out of the article yourself by connecting the dots and supporting that with a solid rationale.

A few years ago I wrote about the conviction of two judges who were paid by privatized juvenile detention facilities to sentence kids to their facilities.

That is terrible. This, however, is a case of bribery and weakness of the judges involved rather than a flaw of privatization itself. Bribery also happens with state ran companies. Perhaps more so. Perhaps less so.

As Alain of Lille and later Karl Marx said, “Money is all.” In America money is all that is

important to the political system and to the bulk of the population. Essentially, America has no other values.

America having no other values is a non-sequitur. Alain of Lille and Karl Marx saying something is not evidence of fact. Even if it were, it does not then lead to the conclusion that American has no other values without further points and rationale behind them.

Again, you are just making claims without providing an actual rationale behind them. Conclusion, conclusion, conclusion, but there is no rationale. As a matter of fact, though, I do agree with you. Wall Street is a good example of some of the failings of privatization (Yes, they do exist!)

Recently, there has been a spate of Wall Street whistleblowers. Many are reported by Pam Martens on her site, Wall Street On Parade, http://wallstreetonparade.com/2014/04/insiders-tell-all-both-the-stock-market-and-the-sec-are-rigged/

Well, thankyou for providing something that is more than just 'fuck you, you guys are idiots', and wearing a tinfoil hat. Still - the problem is that your argumentation needs serious work. You need to actually connect dots. At the moment you're throwing lots of unsupported claims at the dartboard and hoping one of them sticks. You need to pick a point, like, 'Privatization is detrimental', take evidence, then connect that evidence together to draw it back to the original point with rationale and examples. At the moment you're clearly working backwards, IE: Privatization is bad. Now I will try to find things that support that. Conclusion never first, it will lead to faulty thinking.

USA privatization profiteers are feeding the public bullshit about government services while at the same time waiting for the moment conservatives will offer them up for sale.

Suddenly these tax dollar supported government services look like guaranteed profit in the bank accounts.
