Christie Was Told Of ‘Bridgegate’ Closures In Advance, Former Aide Say

Recommended Posts

Back when this happened Isabel and me stood firm that Krispy Kreme was in this up to his fat elbows.

Bridget Kelly told jurors she discussed the plans to shut down access lanes with the governor a month before they occurred.

Whether this clown gets impeached before his term as governor is completed or not,

he's finished in politics.

So let's sum up the Trump team.

Chris Christy: caught in lies, his political career is over

Steve Bannon: white nationalist

Roger Isles: forced to resign in disgrace from Fox for sexually harassing multiple women.

Donald Trump: serial sex offender

That's quite a team.

Anyone that has worked in a large corporate environment, let alone a completely political one, knows that Christie knew about this and was taking revenge on his political opponents. Too many people were involved for Christie to skate. They will implicate him to save their own skins. He is fucking toast.

Correct! He was told it was a traffic study..Not some revenge plot....Have you noticed the aide didn't mention anything about that in court?

LOLOLOL!!!!

What I noticed is that she contradicted his lie that he knew nothing about it until after it happened.

ROTFLMFAO.

Ok so he didn't know

I can't say he did or didn't, can't even say if what they're saying is true or not but the gal says that's why they closed the bridge. We have two bridges in this area that carry all the traffic into the city, one we refer to as the "old bridge" and the other the "new bridge". The old bridge is in need of repairs, it's been talked about for years. They closed the bridge down for a week to study the effects of the closure (from what I was told), it was ugly, traffic was backed up for miles and I made it a point to avoid the city that entire week. I'm not sure what they expected to discover with he study because I could have saved them a lot of time by telling them it would be a traffic jam from hell and it would cause them to lose a lot of tax dollars because people like me would avoid coming to the city to spend money.

Well she did say something like "if I had mentioned the words "traffic study" in an e-mail in question they would have never met.

I only wish these same people that are suspect of Christie could explain why Hillary told two different stories about Benghazi....One to

her daughter and the other to families

I can't say he did or didn't,

That's right. The witnesses - the people who were actually there - are saying he knew.

Christie didn't give a flying fuck about anything except punishing a mayor who wouldn't endorse him. Like any good mob boss, Christie was making an example of Sokolich to intimidate anyone else who was thinking of disobeying him. "Real nice town you got there. Would be a shame if anything were to happen to it."

He didn't give a fuck about the hundreds of thousands of people he was going to harm, or anyone he might possibly KILL.

Too bad the fat fuck from Jersey decided to tangle with NEW YORK CITY. Everyone here wants his fat ass hung from a lamppost.

If he's guilty I kind of like your idea, hang him from a lamppost. In this area there's been plenty of crooked politicians, some got away with everything while a couple got their hand slapped. Hell we had an entire family of politicians in this area that got away with everything from bribes to murder and always seemed to wiggle their way out of trouble. One member of the crime family used to drive a white Mercedes Benz with personalized license plates, drove everywhere like a maniac, he was seen on the interstate chasing another car and shooting his pistol at them, nothing ever came from it, he just said he wasn't driving the car at the time of the incident. I used to be amazed that another member of the crime family who was paid just over $70K per year was able to live the life he did, big beautiful home, brand news cars in the driveway, guy lived like a king. I used to see him at the casino playing $500 per hand blackjack at the casino 3 hands at a time, he sucked at it too. I've never really seen the good side of politics, it may be there, I just haven't seen it. Read a book a while back (non-partisan), one chapter went into several political figures and noted their net worth before being elected to their first political office and then noted their net worth after different years holding a political position, one fella had a -$15K net worth pre office, seven years later he was worth several million dollars. Seen a cartoon where a small boy was telling his dad he had decided he wanted to go into organized crime, the father replied, private or public.

Nope - we liberals want to see him face justice through the court system.

What don't you understand?

He was told it was a traffic study and they were shutting down lanes...

Nothing about a revenge plot...

You appear to be selective on what you want to hear Isabel
