More Insane Rants from 5 rightwing Nut Jobs this week...

Recommended Posts

Here is a round-up of the most insane right-wing statements this week about sexual assault and Trump:

1. Michelle Bachmann spews mind-numbing nonsense.

Based on absolutely nothing, except possibly the little voices in her head, Michelle Bachmann says no one should believe the lies about Donald Trump and sexual assaults. Its all a diabolical plot, you see. One which apparently included getting inside Donald Trumps mouth in 2005 and making him say those nasty things about grabbing pussy just because he can.

Appearing on the American Pastor Network, because she gets all the hottest gigs, the former holy-rolling congresswoman was asked about whether there was a growing gender divide in the evangelical Christian community on account of Trumps blatantly misogynistic behavior. No no no, Bachmann said. Nothing could be further from the truth.

On the contrary, Christian men and women alike must make sure Hillary Clinton never becomes president, Bachmann warned, because if she does she will set a standard in this country that will lead to even more sexual assaults against women because she will be setting an anti-biblical agenda.

Yep, that's what she said.

Satan is probably involved, suggested Sam Rohner, a former GOP lawmaker from Pennsylvania and head of the network. Bachmann concurred. Yes, Satan and his close associate George Soros. This is an effort by Hillary Clinton supporters and George Soros, through Sojourners and other so-called Christian organizations, to divide us, Bachmann sputtered. These are lies and we, as Christians, need to recognize that this is a lie and a deception and we need to wake up and resist these lies.

Amen.

2. Ben Carson, we have a message for you from Donald Trump: Youre fired.

Though it is quite a competitive race, Dr. Ben Carson might be Donald Trumps most ill-considered surrogate. For one thing, hes always let it be known that Trump was not really his first choice, endorsing him tepidly at best. Still, Carson, was trotted out this week not once but twice, and did a good job of totally sticking his foot in it both times. The first time, Carson wisely insisted that the kinds of things that Donald Trump said on the bus with Billy Bush about just starting to kiss women and grabbing their pussies were so normal, in fact, they were mild compared to most of the stuff you hear all the time.

Im surprised you havent heard that kind of banter. I really am, Carson jocularly told CNNs Brianna Keilar, sharing that he certainly heard a lot of this kind of bragging growing up (presumably not with 59-year-old men).

Nope, Keilar hadnt heard that kind of thing.

Maybe thats the problem, Carson said. People have not heard this. Maybe thats the problem.

Seriously, thats the problem? Thats your diagnosis, doctor? People need to hear more of this shit?

Later in the week, Carson appeared on "Morning Joe" to discuss the fact that it now seemed likely that Trump had done more than engage in that delightfully normal locker room banter that everyone needs more of in their life. This time, Carson was there to raise questions about the story told by Jessica Leeds, the woman who said Trump groped her on the plane.

MSNBC's Katty Kay wanted to clarify that Carson was saying that Leeds and the other women accusing Trump were lying.

Carson did not want to answer that question. He said she was asking that question in order to make him look bad, which was strange because he was doing such a good job of that himself.

When Kay again tried to get him to answer the question, and the two began to argue, he told her to stop, stop, stop, and then asked the hosts to turn off her microphone.

Yeah, thats not how that works, doc. He went on to say that it does not matter whether they are lying or not, which suggests that perhaps he would have been better off if they had cut his microphone.

3. Betsy McCaughey hits new heights of absurdity.

The former lieutenant governor of New York and inventor of the scary and non-existent concept of death panels, Betsy McCaughey crawled out of her hole again this week.

Her important message: Hillary Clinton likes bad words more than Donald Trump.

I abhor lewd and bawdy language, the prim Ms. McCaughey told CNNs Don Lemon. I dont listen to rap music because its full of the F-word, the P-word, the B-word, the A-word.

Uh... huh... and your point is?

Her point is that evil old Hillary Clinton does like rap music and that makes her a bad woman. Why, she even likes Beyonce. The horror.

McCaughey, who, once again, does not listen to rap music, just happened to have some notes on the lyrics of Beyonces hit "Formation." To make her point, she recited a verse:

I came to slay, bitch. When he f-ed me good I take his ass to Red Lobster. That happens to be from Beyoncé, her favorite performer," McCaughey said of Clinton. "Whom she says she idolizes and would like to imitate. Theres a lot of hypocrisy, in Hillary Clinton expressing such horror at language on the bus.

McCaughey was triumphant. She really scored there.

Like a lot of right-wingers, McCaughey is confused. 1. Rappers arent running for president, as Don Lemon pointed out, and, 2. It wasnt the language that was the problem with Trumps bus chat, it was the whole rapey part.

Nice try, though. Really nice try.

4. Nothing crazy about the vast media conspiracy Newt Gingrich sees.

Newt Gingrich and Sean Hannity were commiserating about all the nasty revelations about their boy Donald this week. They are in full agreement with their orange leaders view that there is a vast conspiracy against him and that the media is out to get him.

Newt, being the smarter of the two, laid out the theory in some detail:

First of all, Barry Castleman wrote a blog this week in which he said this is literally a media coup d'état, Newt said. This was an effort by the media, starting last Friday, to replace the chosen nominee and destroy the chosen nominee of one of our two major parties. And it was an all-out effort, virtually a lynching by the news media."

Yep, he went there. He called it a lynching. Not even Trump has called it that. Then again, theres a chance that Trump does not know what lynching means.

But clearly, Newt and Donald are on the same page when it comes to the Mexican cartel connection behind the whole thing. Newt's advice:

Trumps gotta stay big, gotta go right at Hillary as the most corrupt candidate in history, hes gotta go right at Carlos Slim, the amount of money the various Slim organizations have given, paid in speeches, given to the foundation, the relationship of Slim to the New York Times. And I love it when the head of the New York Times explains oh, but there's no real relationship. Right. The richest guy in Mexico who is your biggest single stockholder has no real effect on you. Give me a break. The level of dishonesty is breathtaking and I think you see it in the Washington Post, the New York Times.

So nuts. Really, really nuts. Dangerously nuts and paranoid people echoing forever and ever in their echo chamber of delusion.

5. Jon Voightyour sanity is calling.

Jon Voight, the 77-year-old actor who seems to have taken leave of his senses, is feeling very, very nervous. The rabid right-winger is scared his boy Trump might lose the election. Thats about the only reality-based thing he is formulating about the election, based on a new video Voight posted on YouTube Thursday.

Most of Voights opinions are straight out of the right-wing hysteria-mongering playbook that Trump uses, and they are, of course, impervious to facts or reason, or even multiple investigations. Clinton is still to blame for Benghazi, no matter how many congressional panels conclude otherwise. She, like Obama, wants refugees to flood our nation and nobody will know the good guys from the bad guys, Voight fulminates in the video. It will kill our economy, which is at an all-time low now, under the years of Obama's presidency. And Hillary boasts of how proud she will be to continue Obama's legacy."

Last week, fellow actor Robert DeNiro pointed out that John Voight was a nice guy but delusional.

We dont know about the nice guy part, but well go with delusional. Voight proved that point this week when he tweeted that Trump will be the greatest president the country has ever seen, who will save our America.

they're your Crazies, LMAO!

LOLOL.

Cons are mentally ill.

Michelle Goldberg of Slate put it perfectly.

She said that the con establishment has spent years actively fostering "the systematic derangement of the republican electorate", and now they don't know how to turn it off.

Please

And he thinks Michelle Bachmann is normal. I am reminded of a lecture on the insane patients at the mental sanatorium. Seems Mr. Craigly made it to the rear hallway door which had been left unlocked during cleaning. He walked out on the platform, raised his hand skyward and proclaimed, "I am the only sane person in the World!!"

Seems you have went with the pack of insanity, and are so subdued you don't realize you have a mental problem with the insanity you are wrapped up in. Just a clue came from a waitress I met in Reno a few weeks back. She moved out of Montana due to the insanity that is going on there. Loves Reno she says and wouldn't never return to Montana and the rude mean people that live there. Probably where Trump learned you can grab pussy and get away with it.

I've heard others accuse some people of being paid to create threads and make post, if I had to pick someone who is probably paid it would be benson13.

Hmm, interesting, so what did you think of the paid Dem operatives article? I guess you agree, you offered no complaints. There is that ol saying, If you can't kill the message, kill the messenger. You just did a fine job with the later.

So what is it like supporting a child molesting sexual pervert that thinks it is cool to grab women's pussy anytime he wants? Have an opinion on that?
