Why do the presidential debates suck - foxes in the chicken coop.

Why do the presidential debates suck? The foxes are in the chicken coop.

The League of Women Voters served as a genuinely nonpartisan presidential debate sponsor from 1976 until 1984. The League courageously included popular independent candidates and prohibited the major-party campaigns from manipulating debate formats.
In 1988, the George Bush and Michael Dukakis campaigns drafted the first secret debate contract -- a "Memorandum of Understanding" that dictated who could participate and under what conditions.
The League of Women Voters refused to implement the contract and issued a blistering press release, stating that "the demands of the two campaign organizations would perpetrate a fraud on the American voter."
In 1988, the CPD seized control of the presidential debates from the League and has sponsored every presidential debate since.
It is precisely because the League had the courage to resist the demands of the major-party candidates that the CPD was created. The Republican and Democratic parties would not tolerate a debate sponsor that insisted on challenging formats or the inclusion of third-party candidates.
In 1986, the Democratic National Committee and the Republican National Committee ratified an agreement "for the parties to take over presidential debates." In 1987, the chairs of the Republican and Democratic parties incorporated the CPD. In 1988, the CPD seized control of the presidential debates from the League and has sponsored every presidential debate since.

SO THE TRUTH IS, YOU COULDN'T GET EVEN 15% TO MEET THE POLLING THRESHOLD ESTABLISHED BY THE COMMISSION ON PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES.

You think everybody running for office, and there is hundreds, should be allowed into the debate. Right? What makes Jill any better than me if I ran? Stop whimpering and use some logic.

Yes all candidates should be included in the debates. It certainly should NOT be left to the "big two" as to who should participate.

Of course if more would hear Jill Stein she would be up around the 49% mark. The Green Party platform is quite in line with what America is looking

for. Which is why the 'big two " fear competition for it would cut into their corrupt criminal like schemes.

As of the moment the radical right wing conservatives are controlling the lions share of voters by way of the bogus support for Clinton. It appears the lions share of voters are falling in line INSTEAD of going to the polls to vote ALEC and the DLC out of office.

How clever of the radical right wing dollars to have sucked so many people who believe themselves to be democrats into that ALEC and DLC slick campaign.

When voters idolize political names such as Clinton then the country is in trouble and politicians more easily deceive voters. Politicians are not to be worshipped they are to be watched which is which is why watch dog groups got born.

90% of politicians are to be replaced every voting cycle. The USA does not need dynasties controlling the country.

Neither the Clintons nor the Bushes need to come back ever again.

Be Smart and Fiscally Correct VOTE JILL STEIN !!!

JILL STEIN YES!

The Jill Stein ticket would be the most powerful ever for Single Payer Medical Insurance. This would be a help to lower income families,middle-class families and upper income families = everybody wins.

Women's Rights would see formidable support as well.

Jill Stein offers a strong Green Party platform ----- yes she does. I speculate a lot of votes will come from the Progressive Democrats of America for Jill Stein.

Jill Stein is the TEAM LEADER that will represent the largest number of American Citizens which encompass moderate republicans, moderate democrats/progressive democrats and Green Party constituents and other smart constituents.

What about Bill Clinton?

What about Hillary authorizing snooping into congressional emails? another Watergate?

What about Debbie Wasserman Shultz?

How did any of these individuals become important political figures?
