Republican Sorry Attempts to Beat the Democrats in This Years Election

In American politics, southern strategy refers to methods the Republican Party used to gain political support in the South by appealing to the racism against African Americans harbored by many southern white voters.

People just don't understand the complete and utter disgrace of the republicans with this strategy.

Fast forward to 2016, when the party’s likely nominee is an old, white billionaire who launched his campaign by denigrating immigrants and cemented his popularity by calling for a ban on Muslims.

So what happened to the minority outreach that was supposed to be the core of the new Republican Party?

Donald Trump’s dominance of the Republican primary isn’t a fluke. It represents an alternative path in the war for the GOP’s identity — a vision of the party’s future that’s a lot whiter and more hateful than the minority outreach plan.

They are suppose to be the "Party of Lincoln" But they sound like the party of the white majority, and I bet if Abe Lincoln came back to life he would be disgraced by the way his party has changed in the past 150 years.

Yes. Trump's run certainly does represent an alternative path for the Republican Party. At a time when demographics are beginning to catch up with the Republicans and they no longer have enough bigoted white votes to win elections, Trump's candidacy is a grab for white power. Der Trumpfkopfk is an authoritarian who would, in all probability, ignore congress as much as possible and flout the Constitution, whenever he could. IMO, if Trump became president, he would, among other things, do all in his power to fix the voting system so that Conservative whites continue to hold sway, no matter what the majority wants.

COMPLETELY AGREE

Bush's flagrant crimes, and the democrat's failure to even allow investigations into the rampant crime spree means the president is above the law (at least republican presidents). So combine that with Trump and it is easy to see that he can ignore the rule of law, congress, the judiciary, and the public to commit any crimes he wants. The stage has been set.

http://www.cnn.com/2...p-women-vulgar/

During the lewd conversation captured by a microphone Trump was wearing on his lapel, Trump recounts how he tried to "fuck" an unidentified married woman before bragging that he is "automatically attracted to beautiful (women)" and just starts "kissing them." The conversation came just months after Trump married his third and current wife, Melania.
He also said: "When you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything ... Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything."

Here is undeniable evidence that Trump not only disrespects women, in the extreme, but abuses power when he can get away with it.

Trump is finished.

But also, they're the party of super rich people using conservative whites to attain other, disconnected goals.

Using hatred of Muslims to achieve power is like using hatred of blacks to achieve power: reprehensible.

But, here's the hoot... The republican's have known the shifting demographics make their longevity look dismal, so in 2010 they went to town with redrawing the districts. I know I've said this before, but that's the big fricking hoot. They know that even when they lose they win. The block, they block, all or at least much of it. And in the winds that blow, they promote they promote, more blowhards for president every four years.

Seriously, first it was McCain with his running mate, then the private equity guru founder of Bain Capital, and later down the road Massachusetts governor Mitt, then, Rubio, then it becomes, no kidding, Ted Cruz, and possibly, nobody knows, Chris Christie will find his way back, or maybe it will be the solid eloquent debater and VP of Trump, one Pence.

Pence, we know, or I do remember, the dude in congress, was a asshole. It's a plan, a semi-long range plan. The feelers are out, how can we fool the crazies more, get them out, bring some more solid old fashioned republicans back into the fold, lord knows we got the donors, I'm quite sure they think, thought, do plan.

Peace!
