The "dumbest anchor" on Fox News was told by the network that he will not be doing any more Trump promotional ads. Stupid Sean couldn't see that this might be viewed as compromising the network's claim of being 'Fair and Balanced' (bogus though it is). Yep, he's an idiot all right.

After Fox News host Sean Hannity appeared in a pro-Donald Trump political video over the weekend, the network will prohibit him from appearing in promotional political materials through the end of the election, a spokesperson said Tuesday.

“We were not aware of Sean Hannity participating in a promotional video and he will not be doing anything along these lines for the remainder of the election season,” the spokesperson said in a statement to POLITICO.

On Sunday, Trump’s presidential campaign uploaded an eight-minute video that showed a number of conservative figures expressing their support of the Republican candidate. One of those figures included the Fox News show host, who spoke for about 30 seconds expressing his support of the candidate. The Washington Post’s Erik Wemple was the first to report on the video.

Hannity has been a long-time supporter of Trump, and said in June that he would be voting for the Republican nominee. But his appearance in the campaign video released Sunday was the first of its kind this election season.

It’s unclear how the network will address Hannity’s appearance in the video during a town hall with Trump on the network Wednesday, which Hannity is scheduled to host. A spokesperson said at press time that there were no updates when asked about Hannity’s involvement in the town hall.

NPR: "Trump appears to be referring to this Boston Globe article in which ICE told the Globe that 12,941 were released from 2008 to 2014. The numbers were actually higher, over 86,000, the Globe notes, between 2013 and 2015 alone. The 12,941 figure was a number that the Supreme Court forced ICE to release, according to the Globe. Not all were violent criminals, and some 140 countries would not cooperate with deportations. It's not clear, however, what specifically Donald Trump is suggesting Hillary Clinton could have done about that."

Fact Check: Trump was clear on this point, saying:

"Yet, despite the existence of a law that commands the secretary of state to stop issuing visas to these countries, Secretary Hillary Clinton ignored this law and refused to use this powerful tool to bring nations into compliance."

Federal law requires the State Department to discontinue the granting of visas from countries that refuse to take their criminal nationals back. But the State Department has not complied. Representatives Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) and Elijah Cummings (D-Maryland) asked for an explanation last month.

Hannity and O'Reilly will go the way the dinosaur Ailes did.

Fox will eventually cut them loose, before they sink the whole network in the tarpits.

Megyn Kelly will bail like Gretchen and Greta did.

Shephard Smith will quit, go to CNN and finally come out...

A year or two from now Fox News will be considered middle-right, and will finally exhibit Fair and Balanced broadcasting.

I doubt if CNN will take him, but he is obviously in the closet.

Fox wants Hillary to win so they have something to bitch about for another 4 years.

Correct. Hate sells.

She is not asking to come to dinner. She is brilliant and she is Liberal and that's all I care about. Should we judge you according to your choice in women who like smelly fish? lol. I am sure they are intelligent as well.
