Wells Fargo fraud department inundated with calls from low-income Clinton supporters reporting repeated unauthorized charges

Hillary for America processed a total of $94 in unauthorized charges to Carol Mahre’s US Bank account. This follows a pattern in which unwitting donors are charged multiple times, but always for a total of less than $100, which is a key trigger point for banks’ internal action systems.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign is stealing from her poorest supporters by purposefully and repeatedly overcharging them after they make what’s supposed to be a one-time small donation through her official campaign website, multiple sources tell the Observer.

Did Carol cancel the charges? Hillary didn;t think ahead to have a 1-800 number to dispute the charges

If it has happened a lot you gotta a good point GB.

All you have to do is read the story linked in the OP.

Yes, it's happening a lot, and for a long time.

We get up to a hundred calls a day from Hillary’s low-income supporters complaining about multiple unauthorized charges,” a source, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of job security, from the Wells Fargo fraud department told the Observer. The source claims that the Clinton campaign has been pulling this stunt since Spring of this year. The Hillary for America campaign will overcharge small donors by repeatedly charging small amounts such as $20 to the bankcards of donors who made a one-time donation. However, the Clinton campaign strategically doesn’t overcharge these donors $100 or more because the bank would then be obligated to investigate the fraud.

Wells Fargo embedded with fraud? No surprise here.

It is pretty certain that Hillary did not personally order this.

Still, she should look into is and put a stop to it.

If you want to donate, send a check.

Credit card companies have the power to remove all charges that an individual claims he did not make.

If you have a Wells Fargo account, cancel it. Use a credit union.

Full service banks have no advantages for nearly any consumers.

It's her campaign, it's her responsibility. This has been going on all year. Even you can't pretend she didn't know about this, which is conformation he agreed with the tactic.

It's amazing what liberals will defend, whenever it's a liberal screwing people.

Sounds like a bank problem, nothing to do with the HRC campaign & easily fixed with one phone call.

Second, I call Bullshitta on the article using an "unidentifed" person for the report?? LMAO!! The biggest bank should have no problem IDing spokespersons.

Must be some fat whore, spends $23.75 for a hamburger? The total doesn't match the Amount column.

FRAUDULENT ARTICLE. HAHAHHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are people who actually buy food for others. I don't think this statement is fraudulent.

Perhaps she donated more than once, we just have to take her word for it.

In any case, the Clinton campaign should rescind the charges upon demand.

You really need to learn how to use the quote button.

And no, she didn't donate more than once, or she wouldn't have called to report the charges as fraud.
