About Her Arrest - Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka Had This To Say

During the event, Jill had this to say:

“We are facing a climate emergency that requires us to halt any further investment in fossil fuel infrastructure, and instead to transition to 100% clean energy as soon as possible,” stated Stein.

She added “North Dakota authorities should be pressing charges against the real vandalism taking place at the Standing Rock Sioux reservation -- bulldozing sacred burial sites, unleashing vicious attack dogs, endangering drinking water and pushing us toward climate meltdown."

Energy Transfer is the name of the oil company responsible for the Dakota Access Pipeline, and apparently, our campaign is giving them a big headache.

It’s apparent because they seem to be collaborating with their cronies at the state level - pulling out all the stops to issue arrest warrants for Jill and Ajamu!

We are the thorn in their side, the rock in their shoe - and glad to be.

As Ajamu Baraka, our vice presidential candidate, said:

“Our campaign is all about standing up to the rich and powerful who believe in their right to exploit the rest of the planet’s beings and resources for their own profit. The state should be prosecuting the crimes of threatening the water of millions and the attacks on peaceful protestors.”

The political revolution continues here. We will not stand by and watch the destruction of our planet and the brutal treatment of our First Nation brothers and sisters.

Hundreds of thousands are joining us. Will you?

Let's give the fossil fuel industry a run for their money. Please stand with us today with your protest donation and help us put people, peace, and the planet over profits!

If you don’t, who will? As we say... it's in our hands!

Make your voice heard by donating today!

P.S. The Stein/Baraka campaign will not stand for this criminal behavior from the oil companies. The fossil fuel industry is going to hear our voices loud and clear. Will you join us and let your voice be heard too?

P.P.S. By standing in unconditional solidarity with them in this fight, Jill and Ajamu are standing strong for our very collective survival. Will you stand with Jill and Ajamu as they fight to protect the earth and stand in full solidarity with Native People in their struggle for justice?

Very seldom does a criminal stand up and say "Yep, I'm as guilty as hell. Lock me up!" They almost always either deny it or try to justify it.

That's because Jill Stein stands behind her actions and explained why in comprehensive terms.

VOTE JILL STEIN the candidate without zillions in special interest donations who can stand on her own!

Merrill -

I see you love and admire Stein's criminal behavior. I also see that all your bleating about ethics and morals and honesty was just a giant, steaming pile of hypocritical whore bullshit

You LOVE dishonesty.

Jill Stein stand behind her actions based on substance. That is honesty!!!

Bill Clinton was impeached by the House on two charges. The first being perjury, and the second being obstruction of justice. Following this he was acquitted by the senate = watching out for their own.

Bill Clinton the man who claimed a blow job was not same as having sex. And now voters are bringing this womanizer back to the White House. And he lied about his relationship

with Monica Lewinsky.

If Jill Stien cared about this country she would have her people vote for Hillary. She has no chance of winning. She could leverage Hillary to do the things she wants done.

Stein has no leverage on Hillary. Unlike Bernie, who had a massive following, Hillary doesn't take Stein seriously (there's no reason to). Stein has no chance of winning.

Bernie and Hillary are nothing alike whereas the Green Party has much in common with Bernie's Revolution whether it be economic policies or war policies.

Bernie and the Green Party should have teamed up. Kept the revolution alive and kicking. Hillary will throw Bernie under the bus.

Bernie looks at it pragmatically in that the Green Party will not win the presidency. It just won't happen, Merrill. Jill's holding 3-4% in the polls. However if Hillary gets elected, Bernie can get a great deal done from his Senate seat....much more so than if Trump were in office. Bernie wants to get things done. So he's taking the route that will allow him to accomplish as much of his agenda as possible....considering the fact that he's not going to be president.

Bernie and the Green Party should have teamed up.

I was a part of the Bernie campaign from the get go. When he chose to run as a Democrat, he promised that he would support the eventual nominee if it wasn't him. Bernie is a man of his word; he did what he said he would do.

Kept the revolution alive and kicking.

His revolution is still alive and kicking. :) Haven't you heard about Our Revolution? https://ourrevolution.com/

Hillary will throw Bernie under the bus.

Some would argue she already has. However that doesn't change the fact that Bernie can get more done under a Hillary presidency than he can under Trump.

Disillusioned progressives, veterans of the Occupy movement, students charmed by “hope and change,” current Occupy movement workers, Ron Paul followers, environmentalists, peace activists, Good Samaritan Christians—there are millions upon millions of us who want to see the kind of change which Jill Stein represents.

We want change at the level of presidential politics and debate. We want to see discussion of why we are still in Afghanistan; gun control; a serious job stimulus; prosecution of the fraud that created the economic recession; protection from fraud in computerized voting and vote counting; the US policy toward Israel and Palestine; subsidies for the profit- bulging oil companies—none of all these topics currently are even mentioned in the presidential candidates’ “debates.” We are ready for proposals on how to deal with climate change. Yet from the Afghan war to voting fraud to climate change, the two parties that constitute the Duopoly want these issues out of the limelight.

It does not matter which talking-head for the Duopoly wins. Tweedledee or Tweedle-dum, they serve the 1% as they pretend to represent the broad political landscape of all Americans. That’s why there is no substance in the objection that voting for the Greens will take votes away from Hillary Clinton and so put Trump in the White House: neither Hillary Clinton nor Trump represent the 99%. We need a candidate who will—and Jill Stein, already referred to as the unofficial presidential candidate of the Occupy movement, is just such a candidate.

From the perspective of the major economic, military, and Constitutional values, we and our children and grandchildren are screwed if either Tweedle-dee or Tweedle-dum wins. There is no plausible argument for not voting our values and the interests by voting for Jill Stein.

The only people who need to fear our voting our values and interests are ALEC,DLC,DNC,Trump, Hillary Clinton and the 1% whom they serve.
