Z09
Unless you have been under a rock for the past week, you know how Colin Kaepernick feels about the national anthem. You probably also know what he thinks of Donald Trump. What you may not know is how the San Francisco 49ers quarterback and nascent political activist thinks of Hillary Clinton. On Sunday, Kaepernick let loose on more than just The Star-Spangled Banner, but his comments on Clinton barely registered in the media. Here is what he told the team’s beat writers about Clinton at the Sunday media session, where he announced he would sit for the national anthem. “You have Hillary who has called black teens or black kids 'super predators,' you have Donald Trump who’s openly racist,” Kaepernick told reporters. “We have a presidential candidate who has deleted emails and done things illegally and is a presidential candidate. That doesn't make sense to me because if that was any other person you’d be in prison. So, what is this country really standing for?” So Kaepernick believes Hillary Clinton has used racially insulting terms and belongs in prison. NewsBusters conducted a Google News search using the terms “Kaepernick, Trump and openly racist” a day later and got 48 results. Yet a search using the terms “Kaepernick, Clinton and prison” returned just four. The only item on the Clinton remarks to appear in a major press outlet was an article in The Washington Post, according to NewsBusters. The Associated Press ran a story noting Kaepernick's description of Trump, but left out his remarks about Clinton.

XavierOnassis
Let he who has never deleted e mails throw the first stone. Deleting e mails is not actually a crime. I do it all the time, and so does everyone else. Proving that the deleted e mails were classified is like proving that what you flushed down the john when the narcs were beating at the door was not shit. There is no case possible. Kaepernick does not understand how to use celebrity to promote a cause. If you are trying to effect change in the sway cops treat Black people, forget mentioning any candidates for any office. The goal should be to have as many supporters as possible. And you do not accomplish that by making enemies. No one is going to throw Hillary in jail so that some football hero can stand up while listening to the Star Spangled Banner.

I am discussing HIS strategy, nothing more.
