The red states are in Last Place in Everything

Recommended Posts

Also, why is a state defined 'red' ONLY by the presidential election? For example, in MI we have a GOP house, senate, governor and a majority of the federal house delegation, yet dlk and others call MI a 'red' state.

It is not quite so simplistic. I wonder what it would look like county by county....

WHY do the Blue States/Gov't have to continue to support them????????????????

This will be funny.

Last place racing to become the most corrupted intellect is in first place to adapt in the moment nobody believed stayed now all the time, the humpty Dumpty time space continuum theology will be worth nothing when instinctive honesty rises from the ashes of societal implosion.

Although time has passed since these charts were created 10 years ago,

pretty much the same conditions exist in the Blue vs. the RED states.

Life is much better in Liberal Democratic states

than in regressive Republican states:

If the red states and the blue states were separated into two countries, which country would be more successful?

Dear Red States:

We're ticked off at the way you've treated California and we've decided we're leaving. We intend to form our own country and we're taking the other Blue States with us.

In case you aren't aware that includes Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and all the Northeast.

You get Texas, Oklahoma and all the slave states.

We get stem cell research and the best beaches.

We get Intel and Microsoft. You get WorldCom.

We get Harvard. You get Ole' Miss.

We get 85 percent of America's venture capital and entrepreneurs. You get Alabama.

We get two-thirds of the tax revenue. You get to make the red states

pay their fair share.

Since our aggregate divorce rate is 22 percent lower than the Christian Coalition's we get a bunch of happy families. You get a bunch of single moms.

With the Blue States in hand we will have firm control of 80% of the country's fresh water, more than 90% of the pineapple and lettuce, 92% of the nation's fresh fruit, 95% of America's quality wines (you can serve French wines at state dinners) 90% of all cheese, 90 percent of the high tech industry, most of the US low sulfur coal, all living redwoods, sequoias and condors, all the Ivy and Seven

Sister schools plus Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Cal Tech and MIT.

With the Red States you will have to cope with 88% of all obese Americans and their projected health care costs, 92% of all US mosquitoes, nearly 100% of the tornadoes, 90% of the hurricanes, 99% of all Southern Baptists, virtually 100% of all televangelists, Rush Limbaugh, Bob Jones University, Clemson and the University of Georgia.

We get Hollywood and Yosemite, thank you.

38% of those in the Red states believe Jonah was actually swallowed by a whale, 62% believe life is sacred unless we're discussing the death penalty or gun laws, 44% say that evolution is only a theory, 53% that Saddam was involved in 9/11 and 61% of you crazy bastards believe you are people with higher morals then we lefties.

We're taking the good pot too. You can have that dirt weed they grow in Mexico.

Now that's hyperbolic and incendiary, of course, but there's truth in there. I know which hypothetical country I'd rather live in.

Damn boy,

You tole em good :)

As far as Hollywood is concerned...blue states can have it. Besides, it ranks behind Louisiana in the number of movies filmed there in recent years.

Red states will have the vast majority of the petroleum, natural gas and energy production...have fun next winter in the northeast.

Six of the 10 largest vehicle producing states are red...do you like to walk?

Obama is an Expert on Lincoln...I'd bet my bottom dollar Prez Obama thinks Lincoln screwed up in regards to not letting the south secede when he had the chance

So now you think the South should have seceded?

And Obama's an expert?

Agreed. Red state/blue state doesn't do much in the way of demographic analysis.

Because they pay taxes...idiot.

You have asked this before...the answer isn't going to change. Besides, according to the US government sites, the states that went red in the last POTUS election pay more in than they get. Find the thread and re-read it.

What a lying sack of shit you are. Lucky for you I'm not where you are to punk you BITCH!

Completely untrue. The red states are first in obesity, illiteracy and poverty.

The Southern states have high populations of Blacks and Hispanics.

According to the CDC, Blacks and Hispanics have the highest rates of obesity.

On the SAT, Blacks and Hispanics have the lowest scores in math, verbal, and writing.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Blacks and Hispanics have the highest rates of poverty.
