Unfortunately I voted for Bill Clinton twice. What did that get me?

Recommended Posts

Liberals, moderates ,Green Party Supporters, independents should ask themselves why in the world are so many conservatives and their money coming out for Hillary Clinton? I say Hillary and Bill Clinton are Democratic Leadership Council Blue Dog Conservatives certainly not traditional democrats if democrat at all.

Unfortunately I voted for Bill Clinton twice. What did that get me?

"Bill Clinton signed off on NAFTA, claiming it would create more and better jobs. He ended welfare as we knew it with "Welfare Reform". He escalated the "War on Drugs" and built multiple new prisons, creating the police state we have now ... And the world's leading rate of incarceration ... Disproportionately Black. Bill Clinton repealed Glass-Steagall, deregulating the banking industry, with disastrous results.

"During Bill's tenure, Hillary was his co-president. Having been fooled once, it's hard for some to believe what she's saying now. Will she improve the lot of the middle class by, for instance, declaring, once again, for the Trans-Pacific Partnership or will she be in favor of a heavy tax on outsourcing?

Will she help ordinary people by consolidating the "too big to fail" big banks even further? Will she provide second rate health care to all Americans by expanding the power of the insurance industry?

Just think millions upon millions upon millions of voters going for Jill Stein will eliminate the lesser of two evils concern as Jill Stein becomes president of the USA. Bringing fresh air

to America and capitol hill politics.

Hillary is too red not any blue. Hillary represents the Democratic Leadership Council a Koch dollar enterprise. The DNC has been taken over by Koch dollars.

How the Koch brothers helped dismantle the Democratic Party

Time to clean up capitol hill! There is way more blue and economic growth in the Green Party,Progresive Democrats of America and some moderate republicans than in the conservative DNC.

Think a Jill Stein ticket . A most powerful vote for Single Payer Medical Insurance. This WILL help lower income families,middle-class families and upper income families immensely = everybody wins.

Women's Rights WILL experience a formidable boost !

Jill Stein is the only candidate who puts people over profits every time. She’s also the only candidate in the race that stands with the American voter on common-sense policies including...

  • Getting off fossil fuel by 2030 to stop climate change

  • A Green New Deal jobs program that would provide 20 million good jobs to replace and repair our crumbling infrastructure as well as protect our planet.

  • Making higher education tuition-free to all

  • Single-payer health care as a right

Many more people know about Jill’s platform thanks to the Town Hall Wednesday night.

And that’s why the buzz is growing about Jill every single day.

When the economy crashed in 2008-09, it meant disaster for working and middle-class families. The recklessness of Wall Street created the biggest economic crisis since the Depression. Bill Clinton repealed Glass-Steagall, deregulating the banking industry, with disastrous results.

We’re still fighting to make sure Wall Street can’t do that to us again—but America’s largest banks are even larger now than before the financial crisis. The nation’s six largest banks, for example, issue more than two-thirds of all credit cards and hold more than 40 percent of all U.S. bank deposits.

To rein in Wall Street and help people like you and me, we need a 21st-century Glass-Steagall Act. To back this bipartisan idea—a plank in both the Republican and Democratic platforms—we’ve joined with other progressive and labor organizations that are fighting to make banks smaller, simpler and safer.

Bill Clinton repealed Glass-Steagall, deregulating the banking industry, with disastrous results.

Join me and thousands of other working people to tell Congress to do its job and pass a 21st-century Glass-Steagall Act.

Banks shouldn’t be allowed to gamble with the savings of ordinary Americans, and they shouldn’t receive taxpayer backing for their risk taking. Working people need a rule that separates our piggy banks—ordinary checking and savings accounts—from the casino of Wall Street.

We had rules that protected us for 60 years. Now we need new, modern rules to prevent the Wall Street recklessness that led to the Recession in the first place. Americans deserve nothing less.

Momentum is growing. Now is our chance. A huge majority of working people support this idea—and Sens. Elizabeth Warren and John McCain have introduced a bipartisan bill to make it law.

The people want this bill to pass. It’s been introduced in Congress, and both parties are calling for it. There’s no excuse for Senate Republicans to drag their feet.

Sign the petition now to demand that Congress pass a 21st-century Glass-Steagall Act to rein in Wall Street greed.

So what is Jill's "realistic plan" for energy? Out of the renewable energy she opposes biomass, so we are left with solar, Geothermal, wind. She may oppose hydroelectric due to the fish spawning if she is green.

Her plan would likely combine taxes on the oil and gas companies with proceeds being redirected toward smart grid development. Financial incentives would be given for green investment and reduced energy usage, and job creation in the clean energy sector would be further incentivized by the government.

As some coal powered executives said to me the USA does not need more energy just cleaner energy to include energy conservation

which is good not only for global warming and cleaner air but also for our wallets.

The powers that be could always redirect existing energy tax dollar subsidies towards cleaner multiple sources thus creating a lot of new employment in the process thus bumping up economic growth.

Bio Mass is considered cleaner than coal or nukes.

So Jill will raise taxes on consumers and middle class workers, small businesses & corporate energy needs, instead of going directly to National Oil to make the change over without affecting the economy during the transition. It is really some leap to expect three energy sources to replace major energy sources as the graph shows.

Further, why should tax payers fund incentives for energy sources? Why not write a law phasing the major sources out of existence, and if they want to change, let them, or shut their doors.

When is the last time any president paid for anything with the backing of congress?

When asked about that on the CNN interview she replied the GOP bailed out the banks and Wall Street more than once and GM and etc etc etc.

which indicates the money is there. It depends on how it is distributed

Robin Hood Tax to Fund College Education

http://ourfuture.org/20150519/a-robin-hood-tax-to-pay-for-college-for-all

AS for health care:

I'll start with this:

Eliminating 2000 for profit insurance corporations which eliminates the massive bureaucracy attached

Eliminating 2000 over paid CEO's

Eliminating 2000 golden parachutes

Eliminating special interest campaign donations

Eliminating the spending of $1.4 million healthcare dollars a day to prevent reform

Eliminating commissions and bonus packages

Eliminating the inflated cost of pharmaceuticals

Eliminating the health industry over charges

Eliminating the advertising budgets being paid for with healthcare dollars

Redirecting $1.4 trillion tax dollars in annual U.S. health care expenses to a Medicare Single Payer System might actually cover all

in America instead of only 60% of those insured with this money.

Reducing war spending by 50% ...... thereby allowing for more productive use of tax dollars.

So, kill development and hiring?

I do agree that the military spending is ridiculous though.

The above is all about making Medicare Single Payer Insurance work which has nothing to do with development.

Anyway why should taxpayers be responsible for subsidizing for profit industries? Shouldn't the CEO's and board members be putting their

company money back into the business?

She wants to tax you into an early grave, putting the burden on the middle class workers of America. Her plan is not credible, like Trump's Wall.
