Running The Country "Like A Business"??

Recommended Posts

Just for perspective. In the US, 23% of businesses file for bankruptcy protection. If Trump owns all or part of 515 business ventures then, on average, there should have been 118 bankruptcy filings. Surely it isn't your contention that a 98.8% success rate is worse than a 77% success rate.

Just for perspective. The overwhelming majority of the business owners I know have not filed for bankruptcy.

Surely it isn't you contention that the guy running the local sandwich shop is more qualified to be president than Trump.

Oh wait, maybe that is your contention. If so, I would agree.

What percentage of businesses and Corporations file for Legal Protection and restructuring (Bankruptcy)?

How many business owners do you know?

What is their total combined payroll and gross revenue/receipts?

How many Corporations and Investments has Donald Trump run?

What was his total combined payroll and gross revenue/receipts?

(Take off your shoes to count if you need to.)

If I only know one (1) sandwich shop owner that has never filed for bankruptcy, that 1 sandwich shop owner is more qualified than the failure we have in the White House now.

If Trump has owned over 500 businesses, then your study would have to review 500 sandwich shop owners in order to have any meaning.

i.e., it's meaningless.

The local sandwich guy has made over 500 sandwiches without revealing classified info to the Russians while Trump has eaten 500 Big Macs and revealed classified info to the Russians just within the past 2 months AND Trump has also filed for bankruptcy 6 times.

So, the sandwich guy is still more qualified to be president.

I love watching liberal stupidity like this. You can't invent this shit, it has to be experienced.

Why Foxaganda wasn't showing the Hearings today

Unfortunately for Benson, they did show the hearing. And Brennan said the same thing everyone else has said:

Reality:

Brennan: No Collusion, shut up.

Pelosi: No Collusion, shut up.

Schumer: No Collusion, shut up.

Feinstein: No Collusion, shut up.

Morrell: No Collusion, shut up.

Clapper: No Collusion, shut up.

Schiff: No Collusion, shut up.

Conyer: No Collusion, shut up.

Durbin: No Collusion, shut up.

There are aspects of political leadership which don't fit the greed model of business. There are actually people who want to help folks and not make a buck off of them.

Getting rid of the Energy Star program because one of your hotels has a shit rating is not good political leadership nor is it good for business

"Jared Kushner and Russias ambassador to Washington discussed the possibility of setting up a secret and secure communications channel between Trumps transition team and the Kremlin, using Russian diplomatic facilities in an apparent move to shield their pre-inauguration discussions from monitoring, according to U.S. officials briefed on intelligence reports.

Ambassador Sergei Kislyak reported to his superiors in Moscow that Kushner, son-in-law and confidant to then-President-elect Trump, made the proposal during a meeting on Dec. 1 or 2 at Trump Tower, according to intercepts of Russian communications that were reviewed by U.S. officials. Kislyak said Kushner suggested using Russian diplomatic facilities in the United States for the communications.

The meeting also was attended by Michael Flynn, Trump’s first national security adviser.

The White House disclosed the fact of the meeting only in March, playing down its significance. But people familiar with the matter say the FBI now considers the encounter, as well as another meeting Kushner had with a Russian banker, to be of investigative interest.

Kislyak reportedly was taken aback by the suggestion of allowing an American to use Russian communications gear at its embassy or consulate — a proposal that would have carried security risks for Moscow as well as the Trump team."

"President Donald Trump* has never been in politics, before. (You may have heard that a time or two over the last 18 months.) And he's not terribly interested in learning the ways in which Washington works.

The latest evidence came Tuesday morning via this presidential tweet: "The U.S. Senate should switch to 51 votes, immediately, and get Healthcare and TAX CUTS approved, fast and easy. Dems would do it, no doubt!"

Donald Trump is either blithely unaware of these things or simply doesn't care. He is and always has been someone who believes that he makes the rules while other people follow them. And, if they don't suit him -- if it's a bad deal, say -- he either adjust the rules or walks away from them.
In Trump's mind, he's the President, so everyone -- the Senate included -- should be doing what he says and passing the legislation he wants passed.
desperate-rage-smiley-emoticon.gif
Which, of course, is a gross misunderstanding of the separation of powers, the history of the Senate and the current legislative processes governing tax reform and the American Health Care Act.
Many people know that. Donald Trump doesn't seem to be one of them."
