List of nations that provide universal care is in here along with an analysis that stings Republicans.

KEY POST!

The private system just rewards the profiteers while the rest of us have to worry about costs, or losing coverage. United States is one of the only first world countries to not offer universal healthcare as a right for its citizens as they die or go bankrupt from lack of coverage. These nations have successful universal health coverage: Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom. And on that list we send Israel 4 Billion dollars a year in aid, more than any of the others. Why should Medicaid For Workers With Disabilities end at age 65 leaving them without their dual coverage? On page 51 of his new plan, Rouzer just wants to starve Medicaid by turning it into a block grant program and tying the annual increases to the CPI (1.8%) when health costs here grow 5.5% annually. That cuts care to our citizens that need it most while sending the funds to Israel.

"Private insurance companies in this country spend between 12 and 18 percent on administration costs," Sanders said on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sept. 17. "The cost of administering the Medicare program, a very popular program that works well for our seniors, is 2 percent. We can save approximately $500 billion a year just in administration costs."

  1. Today, 2.2 million working people are paid the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour or less. Approximately another 23 million people are paid between $7.25 and $11 an hour.
