If you call racism, misogyny, hate, islamphobia, and homophobia "complex thoughts" then you are right.

They are

complex thoughts.

I have found many liberals who have no idea what a glorious thing it is to be a liberal, and so I have set out to create a great catalog of the ways that liberals are so much better than conservatives, not only intellectually, but morally and even spiritually as well. I challenge anyone to find a more complete and /or better organized collection anywhere than this collection of some 35 insightful and informative articles. Included are not only great original insights of my own, but some classic insights of others that I want to make sure are kept alive for future generations.

The 65+ articles of Liberals Like Christ. org is one of the very best collections of great insights that you will find anywhere about what it should mean to be a "Christian." This website provides overwhelming proof, relying primarily on Jesus of Nazareth's very own teaching and example, that anyone who would like to be a follower of his should be as liberal in their own time and place, as Jesus was in his.

Although the primary target audience of this web collection of some 30 articles is the large number of wierd, so-called "Christians" in America who have "G.O.P." and "GOD" confused, liberal Americans who may not have much interest in religion personally can no more afford to ignore what some 70% of Americans believe, than "people of color" can afford to ignore America's white majority (or gays can ignore the straight community). So long as one group is the overwhelming religious majority, and the other has been the dominant ethnicity in this country for centuries, and will fight to keep that privilege for years to come, nothing good can come from trying to ignore them. What this WhatWouldJesusThink.org website is all about is challenging the very large number of white, conservative Americans who call themselves "Christians" to WAKE UP. First, we challenge the political conservatives, and the religious conservatives (including its powerful Roman Catholic wing to stop calling themselves "Christians" unless and until they are ready to start acting like followers of Jesus of Nazareth. Second, we challenge all Christian conservatives to wake up to the fact that Jesus was a liberal, not a conservative, so those who claim to be his followers should follow his example and his teaching, and become the liberals in our day that he was in his day.

Hey everyone, brand new user here. I have been a member of DailyKos for over a year now and have been searching for sites similar and came across here. Me and a few others created a comprehensive guide to every single upcoming special/Local election where a Democrat faces off with a Republican. It has action links for one-click ease on every candidate and information on upcoming races. It’s updated frequently, so if you like it please bookmark and spread the word! I figured I’d post it here as it might be useful to some. Here’s hoping for a Blue November!

Okay these are our numbers links for who knows how long.

I will explain each one.

First is revenue. There is a monthly report. Last one that is ready is the June numbers that came out July 13 or so. The scheme of the link is the month and year in the link. You can guess how to find what you want.

https://www.fiscal.treasury.gov/files/reports-statements/mts/mts0619.pdf

Next is unemployment rate. Go here:

https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000000

https://www.bls.gov/charts/employment-situation/civilian-unemployment-rate.htm

The CBO projections for the Trump Tax Scam should  be here:

https://budget.house.gov/publications/report/cbo-confirms-gop-tax-law-contributes-darkening-fiscal-future

Then there is the Congressional report of the first year effects of the Trump Tax Scam.

https://crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/R/R45736

And the Wall Street Journal article outlining the first calendar year falling revenue.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/u-s-tax-revenue-declined-0-4-in-2018-11550084426

This article outlines how poor people spend more than 100% of their income, and the wealthy spend less than 50% of theirs, roughly. This is pivotal. I can explain why.

You can get the deficit and lots of other things like GDP here:

Trump's 2020 budget and a focus on the part where they screw Medicaid over on page 42, a BFD and broken campaign promise.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/budget-fy2020.pdf

Quote

First, the Budget continues to support a two-part approach, starting with enactment of legislation modeled after the Graham-Cassidy-Heller-Johnson bill proposed in September 2017, followed by enactment of additional reforms to help set Government healthcare spending on a sustainable fiscal path that leads to higher value spending. Beginning in 2021, the Market-Based Health Care Grant Program, the Medicaid block grant, and the per capita cap program are set to grow at the Consumer Price Index

Since when does the cost of health care rise as slowly as the Consumer Price Index?

When Republicans say that people come to the US. for health care:

https://askepticalhuman.com/politics/2018/10/16/debunking-republican-healthcare-myths-people-come-to-us-for-care

"We estimate some 1,400,000 Americans will travel outside the US for medical care this year (2017)."

1.4 million versus 345,000. That is a ratio of over 4:1; that is to say, 4x more people leave the United States for care than come to the United States for care.

The Founding Fathers did not establish the U.S. as a Christian nation, as most of them were simply Deists.

This article explains and is a useful tool in a debate on the subject , which is implicit in a lot of conversations.

Health spending expected to increase 5.5% annually through 2027, a KEY link! Use it with what is quoted below from Trump's FY2020 budget, or in the future to argue against smaller annual increases in budget for health care.
