The failure of Obamanomics in one chart …

Recommended Posts

"In the Federalist Papers, James Madison promised that a large republic with a representative government would avoid the “instability, injustice and confusion” that had plagued many nations in Europe. In a representative government, he reasoned, disruptive factions would be unable to gain sufficient power to dissolve the social contract. The people’s representatives would not necessarily be paragons of virtue, but they would be less likely to succumb to “local prejudices and schemes of injustice.” In the 225 intervening years, Madison has been proven correct, with two great exceptions. One was the Civil War. The other was the 16-day government shutdown of October 2013.

The prime agitators were a small group of right-wing lawmakers identified with the Tea Party who had no interest in negotiating with President Obama unless he was willing to defund or delay implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Along with grassroots Tea Party groups and elite conservative organizations in Washington, these politicians formed a political battering ram against any prospect of compromise. Until House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell finally defied this faction, the United States stood poised on the edge of calamity."

"The Department of Labor reported Friday that the economy gained just 142,000 jobs in September.

The number was well below economists’ predictions of a 200,000 monthly gain.

Worse, the Department revised its initial estimate for job gains in July and August down by almost 60,000 jobs. It was another Summer Bummer for the labor market."

"The number of Americans not in the labor force exceeded 94 million for the second time in a row last month hitting a new record high, according to new government data released Friday morning."

Another record set for women...

"The number of women not participating in the workforce was up 394,000 from August, when 56,253,000 women were out of the workforce."

Well he tried ten times to get an economic policy srarted but the republicans wouldnt let him.

Total BS! He has done nothing but try to ruin small businesses with regulations while lining his own pockets with contributions from the wealthy. The same as the Clintons, they went into the White House as paupers, lied and stole their way to millions and now are worth over $111,000,000. because of stupid suckers like you. This does not include the shenanigans around the Clinton Foundation which is the mother of all money laundering schemes. Give an example where Obama helped the economy.

You are new here.

Just to let you know, you're wasting your time trying to "debate", dln (aka tommy).

He's the sort of troll described by these scientists:

Canadian psychologists Erin Buckels, Paul Trapnell, and Delroy Paulhus set up a survey of personality inventories matched with “Internet commenting styles”—in other words, they attempted to psychoanalyze commenters, which should be cause for a Nobel prize (and hazard pay) in itself. What came from the study will likely surprise no one: people who like to troll are also likely to show signs of “sadism, psychopathy, and Machiavellianism.”

The researchers defined online trolling as “the practice of behaving in a deceptive, destructive, or disruptive manner in a social setting on the Internet” for no purpose other than their pleasure.

Trolling is his favorite past time.

Just look at his post count given the time he's been here at LF.

He's constantly stirring the pot.

Starting inane one-liner OPs.

Filling other threads with one-liners.

Shifting positions.

Making outlandish claims.

Just to stir the pot.

Just to watch the suckers who engage him dance.
