FYI, the word shanda (written as שאַנד = shand, but pronounced either shand or shandeh) is a Yiddish word that means a shame or a disgrace. It comes from the German word "schande", pronounced shandeh, with the same meaning: shame, disgrace, dishonor, ignominy, infamy, opprobrium.

 

Sounds about right for Ivanka.

Thanks, I was unfamiliar with the term shanda. It adds an interesting context to that twitter post.
