johndnorth
Because oblameo has had no foreign policy, does not have a foreign policy, and will not have a foreign policy. Leading from behind is not a policy. It is a way out for an incompetent who does not have a smidgeon of knowledge about leadership. Iran, Syria, Egypt, N. Korea, Russia, Libya, Israel, China. The appointment of Hilarity and Long jaw Kerry to Secretary of State is an example of the amateurishness of this buffoon. "It was a movie" "What difference, at this point, does it make?" Oblameo did build his farce of a foreign policy.
William1444
Does the ukraine have anything the rich and oil companies want like bush and cheney and repuke ass holes LYING to invade Iraq sitting on the third largest pool of oil on Earth???????????????? Nooooo? Then, screw them. Nazi goering said to take everything the ukraine has and let those people starve even after they welcomed the germans after years of stalin and commies. If people are so stupid they die instead of fighting, screw them. At least the taliban in Afghanistan has some balls to fight the russians and now the us fraudulent bush military occupation used as an excuse to steal trillions of tax dollars. PoliticalPopUp
Budapest Memorandum on Security AssurancesThe Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances is a political agreement signed in Budapest, Hungary on 5 December 1994, providing security assurances by its signatories relating to Ukraine's accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. The Memorandum was originally signed by three nuclear powers, the Russian Federation, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom. China and France gave somewhat weaker individual assurances in separate documents.[1]The memorandum included security assurances against threats or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine as well as those of Belarus and Kazakhstan. As a result Ukraine gave up the world's third largest nuclear weapons stockpile between 1994 and 1996.[2][3]Following the 2014 Crimean crisis, the U.S.,[4][5] Canada[6] and the U.K.[7] all separately stated that Russian involvement is in breach of its obligations to Ukraine under the Budapest Memorandum, and in clear violation of Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity. Gator
Pop We have a Special Marine Air Ground Task Force in Romania as a ground based "trip wire" that automatically takes us to war if they're threatened along with a theater ballistic missile defense (TBMD) destroyer on station to provide their anti aircraft cover. That's exactly why Russian fighters penetrated Ukrainian airspace as a show of force a couple of days ago. I've been rather surprised the press hasn't told the whole world the Marines have been there near the Bosporus Strait because it's one of the seven vital maritime shipping "choke points" that can be shut down very easily. Take out the strait and Russian loses their only warm water port and gateway to the Mediterranean. Putin knows they can't stop the Marines which is why he's playing to the region with all his saber rattling. Remember the press is designed to create controversy so they can sell advertising at higher rates to maximize their profits. Don't believe everything you read and hear from them. King You back yet or getting ready to go wheels up? As for the sanctions, they're beginning to work which is the other reason Putin is saber rattling. Things will get much worse in the news before they actually get better in real life. Not to worry as this will all blow over like it always does because no one is going to pull the trigger and kill all the money they're making no matter which side of this they're on.
