Why is the White Man Angry?

Conservative types purposely say outlandish things, even making racist statements to get the liberal to over react. The race card is over used is often their biggest lament. The Tea Party wales against big government and says nothing about the abuses of the 1 %, The republicans main job is to secure an Obama failure, no matter the cost.

Sociologist Amy Binder gave a great lecture about her book - http://www.uctv.tv/shows/Becoming-Right-How-Campuses-Shape-Young-Conservatives-with-Amy-J-Binder-25590 - in it she just speaks to the data she accumulates which is very eye catching, but at once not something we don't know all too well.

I went to search for it and the first things that come up are conservative commentary's about it that are anything but honest.

The problem with the right is they obfuscate any real discussion from ever happening. It's always the same line, this angry white man syndrome that seems to manifest itself again and again.

With the Conservative Movement it seems you these two tools in the tool box: social conservatism, which is mostly religion based or biased, and fiscal conservatism which seems to be racist based.

This is why greed is worse when it's practiced by the meek who think in lock step with those who obfuscate the truth at the very top.

Peace!

From the OP link:

//QUOTE// UC San Diego sociologist Amy Binder explains two prevalent conservative styles that she and her co-author Kate Wood found on today's college campuses. At "Western Public," students often engaged in a provocative style, looking to poke fun and enrage liberals, whereas at "Eastern Elite," conservative students embraced a more civil style, leading to friendlier interactions with other students who disagreed with them. The authors argue that these styles emerge from the cultural and organizational features of each campus. //UNQUOTE//

The "Western Public" provocative style resembles what we see here in NHB. But in NHB, many members take it a notch up.... I would call it a confrontational or abusive style.... And it tends to pollute potentially serious debate with satire, obfuscation and often deliberate fact bending.

As to why the white man is angry?.... The same as because the black or Asian man is angry. Because he's human. Almost all of us experience anger and rage at one time or another. It's how we deal with it that counts..... The checks and constraints we put on our anger.... Whether we use it for positive or negative action. Ideology can have an effect also. Leaders and role models often set an example of rage or reason which influence the more suggestible among us.
