This is how leftists do it. They dominate the argument by controling the language. It is completely intellectually dishonest but that's how they have to operate, because their ideas fail when shown as they really are.

On the same level as Mother Jones or Huffington Post, no?

no, not at all, you see one group tells the truth, the other lies

now huff post is not liberal but I assume you know that

the truth has a liberal bias, sorry, it is true

MOther Jones? the most reliable or one of the most on the planet

lets not argue about it, you live in a bubble, the only info that gets to you comes from fox or rush and none of it is true

you are not capable of debating with a normally informed person

Here is the same story from a local Austin source. See my quote below. So is it a textbook used for teaching? No. It is used as a supplemental aid. Still it is wrong.

Except for one thing: It isn't actually the AP history textbook.

"We don't teach from that book; it's just a supplemental aid," says Denton ISD director of communications Sharon Cox. According to Cox, AP history teachers use the textbook American Pageant in the classroom, and that book has the full text of each amendment.

"The book in question, U.S. History: Preparing for Advanced Placement Exams, is a supplement instructional aid and not the official textbook for any history classes," says Cox. "In this supplement, it states that the following is a 'summary statement.'"

This supplemental aid

Mother Jones is a leftist rag just like the Huffington Post. Stop pretending it is any less biased as any other source.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Says nothing about people needing to be in a militia to have the right to arms.

Tell that to this guy working at home depot: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/03/25/home-depot-loss-prevention-officer-sure-is-glad-there-was-a-concealed-carry-permit-holder-around/

why do you keep spewing this lie ?

the 2nd is only a limit on government, it expressly prohibits the gov from infringing,

it is not a permission slip for the people.

what makes you think we need your permission to excercize our rights ?
