Mob boss Christie has gone from screaming abuse at teachers to whacking principals if they dare to oppose him.

5 Newark principals suspended indefinitely, allegedly for opposing One Newark plan

NEWARK Five Newark public school principals were suspended indefinitely on Friday, including four who spoke at a community meeting opposing proposed changes to the state-run school district,

(...)

The Wednesday meeting was held to oppose Superintendent Cami Andersons One Newark reorganization plan.

A letter from the districts head of personnel, Vanessa Rodriguez, informing the principals of their suspension on Friday, was obtained by The Star-Ledger. In it, Rodriguez writes that "an investigation has been launched regarding an incident that occurred on or about Jan. 15, 2014. As a result, you have been placed on suspension effective immediately. You are not to report to any Newark Public School facility until further notice."

(...)

The principals work at schools affected by the One Newark plan. Hawthorne and Bragaw are targeted for use by charter schools and Maple is set to become an early childhood learning center. Belmont Runyon has been designated a "renew" school, which means new leadership will be installed and teachers will be asked to reapply for their positions. Browns school, Ivy Hill, is designated for "redesign."

(...)

Leonard Pugliese, executive director of the City Association of Supervisors and Administrators, the union representing principals and other chief school administrators, said he was outraged at the suspensions and the lack of information provided by the district. The four principals were not told if they would be paid during their suspensions, or how long the suspensions would last, Pugliese said.

A YouTube video of the meeting shows the four principals speakiing after Baraka calls Andersons plan "an attack" on the South Ward. They say their schools are improving despite district cuts to personnel, including guidance counselors, reading specialists and librarians.

(...)

Baraka Sunday called for Andersons firing, saying the suspensions are "the last straw in a chain of inept, and horribly out of touch decisions. The people of Newark need to hear the views of those within the school system who disagree with Ms. Anderson. The four principals have a constitutional right to speak out. The Newark school district is not a military dictatorship, and Ms. Anderson is neither an army general nor a police chief. Her behavior must be governed by the principles of our democracy."

Grace Sergio, the president of the parent-teacher organization at Hawthorne Avenue school said she was not surprised to learn of James suspension.

"We were kind of expecting it, basically. (Anderson) is going to try to shut up whoever wants to speak out," she said.

You are free to ignore whatever frightens you, and believe whatever makes you feel good.

Knock yourself out.

I consider myself a pretty well rounded person. I am not that naive that I think this is above him or the with holding of funds. I am a person that goes on facts and not a political witch hunt. I am also a firm believer that the top guy is responsible for those that work for him. I have said before that if the Gov was part of the traffic stoppage he needs to get tossed out on his ass. If he was not aware but did nothing to those that were responsible he should be tossed out for that.

This is one of the problems I have with our Pres. He is the man and he should toss those responsible for the many misuses of power that have happened on his watch. How anyone can continue to back this guy is beyond me. All I see from the left and the MSM is excuses and blame the other guy.

I am so sick of Chris Christie... He is Toast

I did appreciate him until it became evident that petty state politics was involved and he did not manage his people effectively..

He cannot run this country

Neither can Hillary...She was so distraught over Benghzai she had to send Susan Rice to address the American public for her. Not president material.

Newark eh. Cory Booker's city.

Cons are jiggy on not wasting money yet Christie wasted $25 million of taxpayer's money on a special election to fill deceased senator Frank Lautenberg's senate seat held just months before his own election.

Christie didn't want a high democrat turnout for Booker spoiling his coronation. Both elections could and should have been held at the same time.

Christie took a lot of justifiable heat for this giant waste of money .

Now he's going after Newark teachers.

There is nothing I wouldn't put pass this out of control egomaniac.

Christi is so good for Independents and Democrats.

Along with the other arrogant R assholes like Cruz, Paul, etc.

Just a handful of them making sure they lose again in 2014 & 2016.

Go Christi! :D

LOL.

Yeah - you're right - it's so boring and irrelevant, in fact, that practically every news outlet in the country has been leading with Christie's nastiness, lies and corruption for WEEKS.

And it's not over - no matter how hard you try to protect him.

Lol you couldn't be more irrelevant if you tried nursing a newborn with your male teats.

You really are a sick twisted left wing nut...you need help dude. That doesn't refute that Hillary was so distraught over Benghazi that she had to send Susan Rice out to do her job and address the American public. She is not fit for office.

LOL.

These republicans are like the mob.

Just Republicans huh, who said this, “After we win this election, it’s our turn. Payback time. Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay." "

Whoa now...O'barry didn't know about any of that.

Huge difference. Christie's BS is coming out of his office from his closest people. Only a fool would believe he didnt know. The IRS was coming out of an IRS office, and they targeted libs and cons to save time, as they should. These groups should not be tax free. We should target them more.

The IRS scandal was connected this week not just to the Washington office—that had been established—but to the office of the chief counsel.

That is a bombshell—such a big one that it managed to emerge in spite of an unfocused, frequently off-point congressional hearing in which some members seemed to have accidentally woken up in the middle of a committee room, some seemed unaware of the implications of what their investigators had uncovered, one pretended that the investigation should end if IRS workers couldn't say the president had personally called and told them to harass his foes, and one seemed to be holding a filibuster on Pakistan.

Still, what landed was a bombshell. And Democrats know it. Which is why they are so desperate to make the investigation go away. They know, as Republicans do, that the chief counsel of the IRS is one of only two Obama political appointees in the entire agency.
