PolitiMom
Won't fly in the long run. Even conservative judges have agreed ---- health care is an issue in and affecting "interstate commerce." http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/post/reagans-solicitor-general-health-care-is-interstate-commerce-is-this-a-regulation-of-it-yes-end-of-story/2011/08/25/gIQAmaQigS_blog.html The Federal government can supersede anything the States pass on health care via the "interstate commerce clause" of the Constitution. The Federal health care train is already chugging down the tracks. Too late to stop it now. Get on board or get run over by it. Your choice. Your choice. they can't make it happen if they can't enforce it. if these states pass this legislation.....and it looks as if south carolina pretty definitely will....then yes...obamacare will still technically exist.......but no one will be able to enforce it in the states passing the legislation. it's a dead deal. of course....we'll see if the feds do what they've been known to do in situations like these.....use coercion and blackmail to force the people into accepting what they don't want. i guess we'll see. This is all wild speculation from Andrew Napolitano (of the conservative Faux Noise machine) being quoted in the ultra-ultra right wing Washington "Moony" Times. How about providing even a mildly credible source? Why do you guys love your self-delusion machines so much?
