LisaB
How come, then, do blue states send more money to the feds than they receive, and red states take more money from the feds than they send to them?
GiveMeLiberty2
the right signs the check on the front the left signs the check on the back Agreed! It's also a bad check too. The only real difference between them are issues that really don't matter. However those issues like "gay rights," abortion, etc. issues that can be dealt with but should not be national issues that decide who becomes POTUS. These type issues though are loved by both sides. It means that the public does not pay attention to the real issues that they both agree on. Foreign policy, NSA spying, Federal reserve theft of the public, gun control, the police state etc. the big issues that are truly nation destroying or preserving. There is no difference where it truly matters.
gomi
What's the difference between the left and the right? One makes an "L" when you hold out your hands.

Skeptic
the right signs the check on the front the left signs the check on the back Conservative wacko mythology does not an argument make. Blue states are net contributors to the federal treasury; Red states are net receivers. I don't expect any cons have the ability to think that through, of course...
