LisaB
There's the Dems, who seem for the moment to be fairly together about things. There's the Tea Party, composed of hard-right conservatives who want to bring the country back to a time that never existed, if they have to destroy the country to do it. They'd rather have no country than having the country anything other than exactly the way they want it, and to h*ll with what anyone else wants. I mean, they have God on their side. And there's the mainline Republicans who would like to see sanity return to their party, quaintly referred to by TPers as "communists," whom they hate almost as much as they hate Dems and everyone else who disagrees with them in the slightest. Things are interesting.
Slowmotion426
The TEA PARTY wants a smaller government, more personal liberty and less government control over our lives. The dimocrats want to strip us of all our freedom and liberty, take every nickel we make, force everyone to be dependent upon the government and destroy traditional family units. fargo
There's the Dems, who seem for the moment to be fairly together about things. There's the Tea Party Democrats, composed of hard-right conservatives radical leftists who want to bring the country back to a time that never existed, if they have to destroy the country to do it. They'd rather have no country than having the country anything other than exactly the way they want it, and to h*ll with what anyone else wants. I mean, they have God Gubment on their side. And there's the mainline Republicans RINOs (democrat light) who would like to be democrats see sanity return to their party, quaintly referred to by TPers as "communists," whom they hate almost as much as they hate Dems and everyone else who disagrees with them in the slightest. Things are interesting. Are you talking about the TEA Party or dummocrats? RINOs hate dems? Really? Then why are they essentially a part of the DNC? Can't agree with your premise. BTW, when do dummocrats disagree with their party? They and RINOs vote in a block with the DNC with no thought.

Kobia2
Democrats are together? Have you noticed the House & Senate Democrats up for reelection next year? They are looking to distance themselves from Obama and divorce themselves from the ACA they voted for.. Reid and Pelosi don't give a damn about them, and are quite willing to sacrifice them,

SlowSVT
After the election, a good number of Democrats will be aadded to Obama's unemployment numbers. Can liberal democrats get jobs in the privet sector? I don't think their resume would go over very well and were limited to the public sector jobs where you can't get fired for poor performance, are overpaid, you get to retire early and get great "guaranteed" pension benefits paid for by the taxpayer. sole result
3 groups academically pitted against each other? that is 4 positions playing two sides against the middle using metaphors of left and right wings. Gee doesn't a body have legs. Wings are for birds to fly through the air and fish to move through water. Most every other animals have arms and legs. So why only use left and right wings for every issue? Sounds like "Keep it stupid, simpleton."
