Obamacare troubles wipe out Democrats' lead in polls

Wow, that's too bad. I wonder what they are going to do now, double down on stupid as Democrats ALWAYS do?

Obamacare troubles wipe out Democrats’ lead in polls.

The disastrous rollout of President Obama's health care law rollout has damaged the 2014 re-election prospects of Democratic lawmakers, a series of polls shows.

A survey released Tuesday by CNN/Opinion Research is the seventh poll in just over two weeks to show Democrats having lost the edge they gained with voters during a government shutdown blamed on Republicans.

The latest poll shows Republicans leading Democrats on the generic ballot, 49 percent to 47 percent. It follows two polls by Rasmussen, one by Fox News and another by Quinnipiac University that document a major shift away from Democrats since the glitch-plagued rollout of Obamacare began on Oct. 1.

Democrats just a month ago enjoyed as much as a 9 percentage point lead among voters, thanks in part to Republican efforts to defund the health care law, which resulted in a 16-day government shutdown.

At the time, Democrats were exuberant about the resulting backlash against the GOP over the shutdown. But the party's advantage is gone now, polls show.

"The Democratic lead," CNN reported, "has disappeared."

If the Dems' present disaster hadn't happened, the country would still be favoring them over Republicans in response to the Republicans' government shutdown (and no matter what anyone thinks about whose fault it was, most Americans faulted Republicans for it). Seems like nobody's as fickle as the American voter. Something happens and he feels one way, then something else happens and he feels another, then something further happens and he goes back to feeling as he did at first.

And we call ourselves logical, haha

Then why do they change their minds back and forth, back and forth, the way they do? The GOP gets a scandal and Democrats come into favor. The Dems screw up and all of a sudden the GOP takes precedence, their recent scandal completely forgotten. If ("when" is more accurate) the GOP screws up again, public favor will go to the Dems again. This has been going on since forever, you know.

Perhaps they changed their minds because what passes as "news" organizations in this country, finally couldn't hide what Obamacare is doing to the country.

This disaster is large. It affects the pockets of millions of hardworking americans. It has been a few years in the making and also shows that the criticism the right gave over the last 3 years was correct. The government shutdown, which was one in a long line of shutdowns, did not effect most americans.

Oblameocare is the gift to the gop that is just going to keep on giving. When co's lose their exemptions up to 100 million people are going to be thrown on to the exchange. Oblame'o can blame anyone he wants but the people are starting to catch on to this incompetent know nothing. Dems are starting to move away from oblame'o. GOP can just say, "I didn't vote for it" "I tried to repeal it." "Read my speeches on the floor warning and telling them what would happen" "They knew this would happen and they did it anyway" "They lied to you". hahahaha. "They said You have to pass the bill before you read it." Too good.

"If" LMAO! Lisa deal with reality. The truth is Americans are tired of both parties and have been for decades. They sway to the party that hasn't screwed up lately. You don't actually think liberalism is favored over conservatism and vise versa do you? It is all about trends. Republicans had it in the 90s and early 2000s. Dems had it lat 2000s and it will switch again. It always will. The worst thing you can do is assume that the country agrees with you because they don't. Republicans paid a great price for thinking that.

Could it be that when they find out they are lied to they get upset when it hits them in the pocket book and millions are in deep do-doo after being promised things to the contrary. Especially when the opposition party has been found to be truthful.

Employees who presently have private insurance will lose their coverage eventually as there is a 40% excise tax to pay due to obamanocare's penalization of any company that doesn't drop it's private coverage. No company is going to pay that for long. Millions more pissed off at the dims voters coming up.

95% of Americans probably didn't even know what caused the shutdown.... But now they are beginning to understand it was because the GOP didn't want to give Obama a blank check to increase our debt, and that they didn't want to fund the ObamaCare Law----which folks now understand why.

The Obama adoring MSM sold the shutdown as though it had never happened in the history of the United States... The Government shut down 8 times under Reagan, and 6 times under Carter... And Jimmy had a Dem controled Congress.

Folks begin to show interest when a Government Law or Policy effects them personally----which ObamaCare does.

The interesting thing is the government shutdown didn't really effect too many people (which in and of itself should tell us something). But when millions are having their insurance policies cancelled....impact? memory? Oh yeah. And those ill feelings won't be directed toward the Republicans.

If Obama can keep pushing the rollout of obamacare to conceal it's true impact on the American people the obamabots will remain ignorant of their plight and still vote for him which is why he's doing it (liberals can't be trusted with individual thought and must be massed into a heard).

The problem with that is 2016 is right around the corner where Elizabeth Warren will have to deal with the fallout.

If a frog had wings he wouldn't bust his ass every time he took a jump.

Remember LB, you can always fall back on the blame Bush game for your sides failures.

The only people who say "blame Bush" are conservatives who for some reason think libs blame Bush for anything. Do you see any libs saying "blame Bush" here even once a day or a week or a month?

You have GOT to be kidding. That's ALL we've heard for the last 5 years whenever Obama's failures are discussed.

Your problem is that the only thing being discussed now, is Obamacare's implosion, and not a single Dim has figured out how to "Blame Bush" for that, so instead, they blame "The GOP" for opposing that ignorant law.
