fargo
Is this a riddle? Not good at riddles. Lacking: Submissions should be truthful. If it has a progressive bent, they're gonna print it. No questions asked. No fact checking done. Commondreams is a pack of professional liars and leftist con artists. Rayj
Be proofread in advance for accuracy. Proof reading is for grammar. How about whether it's truthful or not? How do you verify that?

No fact checking done. Commondreams is a pack of professional liars and leftist con artists. If that's one's thing, what's the problem? I'm sure there's not a lack of professional right wing liars and con artists who operate with the same format. I wouldn't presume to call them out for soliciting articles that matched their own ideology. There's an ass for every seat, they say. crimsongulf
Is that like a subbie site? Lot of submission going on.
Cannonpointer
Be proofread in advance for accuracy. Proof reading is for grammar. How about whether it's truthful or not? How do you verify that? Jesus Christ. They're looking for thousand word essays. MAXIMUM thousand words. They're soliciting for kumbaya, not fucking Pulitzer Prize investigative journalism. The author is a moron. Don't get sucked even deeper into stupidity than you already are, son.

lewstherin
If it has a progressive bent, they're gonna print it. No questions asked. No fact checking done. i doubt that. it's a fairly popular communist site. they probably get thousands of submissions, with only a few submissions accepted. staff editors make the selections based on writing and what readers would find interesting. commondreams, like most news and political journalist sites, is propaganda. a bit of truth which is made to dance in a circle to deceptive music. but they're not just going to let straight up lies pass through. there has to be at least a small kernel of truth or they would lose viewers. Communism: “A theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state; A system of social organization in which all economic and social activity is controlled by a totalitarian state - dominated by a single and self-perpetuating political party.” – That’s the definition of communism according to Dictionary.com http://www.newswithviews.com/JBWilliams/williams211.htm
