Well in case you missed the story, Justin Carter is a 19 year old boy who's was jailed for a "terroristic threat" because of a sarcastic comment he made on FB about an online video game - basically he said something along the lines of "lol yeah I'm crazy, I'm going to shoot up a school full of kids and eat their still beating hearts - lol jk"

This was enough for him to be thown in jail on $500,000 bond and face up to 8 years in prison if convicted.

Justin's been in prison since Feb because his parents can't pay the bail, and he's reportedly been beaten up in jail, suffered black eyes and concussions and now on suicide watch - all over a Facebook comment. Stuff like this makes 1984 seem much closer to home.

On the flip side a number of individuals are running pledges to help raise the money needed for his parents to bail him out - the one above has raised nearly $7,000 as of the time I post this. Hopefully justice will be served here.
