uh oh - Sorry - but in this day and age the immediate question that comes to mind is whether IslamoFascists had something to do with this...

Boeing 777s have had a bad track record. Tweets from passengers don't indicate a bomb. Seeing as how the top of the fuselage was burned off it was probably an electrical fire common with that model. Boeing corporation sucks.

The first thing that comes to mind is the republicans' sequester, it probably results in less traffic controllers and less inspectors.

Actually it was Republicans in the House who voted to overrule Øbama's sequester.

Just goes to show you how informed and up to date on current events you are. God I just love it when you're this fucking wrong - as usual....

WASHINGTON -- The crash of an Asiana Airlines Boeing 777 in San Francisco on Saturday is only the second major accident for the twin-engine, wide-bodied jet in the 18 years the model has been in service, aviation safety expert said.

"The 777 has a fantastic record," said Tom Haueter, who retired last year from the National Transportation Safety Board, where he was the head of aviation accident investigations.
