The US was founded on fear of government power, and the Constitution was written expressly to greatly limit federal power.

 

You'll go years if not decades without having the slightest comprehension about that.

You might have a point in quoting Adams but as both parties are bought and sold by the same corporate interests, you don't. The only way to lessen the impact and influence of multinational corporations on government is to reduce its size, scope and influence. We need a return to MODERATE and CONSERVATIVE government. A government that does the work of their constituents, not wall-street and big business.
