Official: 18 firefighters dead in Arizona

(CNN) -- Eighteen firefighters battling a blaze in Arizona who were unaccounted for Sunday night have been confirmed dead, said Wade Ward with the Prescott Fire Department.

Sadly, this is the case. The next chapter is when that giant ridge of high pressure starts moving east, allowing the jet stream to move south increasing the winds over the area. We can only hope it will bring moisture off of the Pacific to help the fire fighters. Condolences to the families of those lost.
