Rayj
Black leaders: Gang of 8 ‘devastating’ for black community A group of black leaders will issue an open letter Monday calling on members of the Senate “Gang of Eight,” the Congressional Black Caucus, and senators from states with the highest rates of black unemployment to consider the impact the Senate’s immigration bill will have on black unemployment. “[it] is our position that each Member of Congress must consider the disastrous effects that Senate Bill 744 would have on low skill workers of all races, while paying particular attention to the potential harm to African Americans. Credible research indicates that black workers will suffer the greatest harm if this legislation were to be passed,” the letter, signed by members of the Black American Leadership Alliance, reads. http://dailycaller.com/2013/06/02/black-leaders-gang-of-8-devastating-for-black-community/ Where is Sharpton? Oh, that's right, he's busy complaining about the Zimmerman trial and the white jury...

Golfboy
So now you're worried about the black community? We always have been, it's you liberals that make promises to them, don't keep them, yet keep convincing them that you're on their side against those evil Republicans that want to take away their gravy train. Face facts. Blacks are no better off now than when you started all these promises. They still have the highest unemployment rates, they still have the same poverty rates and you know that even when you screw them with this amnesty bill, they'll still vote for you. Obviously blacks are victims of the Stockholm Syndrome.
nuckin futz
Damn... you stole my comment!!! Translated: "I'll see your dumbazz, and raise you two dumbazzes. I'm all in on stupid" Of course blacks have been hurt by the flood of illegals! This is what the corporate elite want, that hire them. Drive down wages even further! And keep busting those damn unions, and robbing people of their pensions, and shipping plants and jobs overseas. Its really comical, how Rethugs pretend to be against Amnesty, when that's what their masters want. Just like when they were against the ACA, when the insurers were jubilant about it, and Obama caved in to them. In politics what you see is never real, or what you think it is! johndnorth
The borders were to be sealed back when Reagan made the deal with Teddy "the delinquent' Kennedy. We are talking about millions coming in to the USA across the border since then. There is no doubt that the coming legalization is going to hurt blacks. Wages will be driven down. Entry level jobs will be lost to masses of once illegals. Welfare and other social services will be strained. Benefits will be cut.
