eclectic skeptic
IN order to be a conservative you need to be able to bounce like a pin ball machine from one manufactured crisis to another. When you're dead wrong about your claims, it seems your amnesia gets the best of you.
eclectic skeptic
Cons are sensing deja vu like last november on the IRS scandal. And I didn't even have time to pop some popcorn and get a seat for the impeachment proceedings.

Yet again, his incompetence was on display! Translation: Barack Obama always comes out on top...despite how hard we try to bring him down. Drats. Mitch McConnell delivered a speech today at the American Enterprise Institute to officially signal that the IRS scandal has entered its post-fact phase. When the IRS first revealed that its Cincinnati office had attempted to enforce its nonprofit laws using a search function that disproportionately impacted conservatives, Republicans were certain it must have come from the White House. They were going to follow the facts. But all of the facts point in the same direction, which is that the Obama administration had nothing to do with it at all. That was the conclusion of the agency’s inspector-general report, as well as the House Oversight Committee’s own interviews, which the Republican majority tried to suppress and which (when the Democrats released them) showed the operation was an independent, well-intentioned effort to enforce the law led by an IRS official who happens to be a conservative Republican. "who happens to be a conservative republican." Wait a minute....wingnut world told us the tea baggers were personally selected and targeted by Obama for their political beliefs. You mean you all lied...AGAIN?
ImTheNana
So the liberal MSM distorts the truth. It must be Saturday. Meanwhile Camp Announces Hearing on the Status of Internal Revenue Service’s Review of Taxpayer Targeting Practices 1100 Longworth House Office Building at 10:00 AM Jun 27, 2013 Investigation Into IRS Scandal Continues In the wake of the data-mining revelations with the NSA, the IRS's targeting of conservative groups has taken a back seat in many American minds. But Congressman Tom Reed says that the investigation into the scandal is still ongoing. He says the Ways and Means Committee, which he serves on, is still investigating and that a special prosecutor isn't needed yet. “When you go down the path of a special prosecutor, remember that's going to cost millions of dollars and there's going to be a delay because the special prosecutor has to get up to speed, going to take a significant amount of time and cash in order to do that and those are hardworking taxpayer dollars. So let's let the committee do the work, let's let the facts drive the investigation, and then we'll really know, once we get all the facts, then we make a determination on that. But right now the committee is best suited to do it.” Congressman Reed says that more hearings on the IRS are coming.

Mildred
The IRS Scandal Is Over but but but....you cons promised us hearings all summer and possibly impeachment proceedings starting? Did you lie to us yet AGAIN? The first day of summer was yesterday. Translation: Barack Obama always comes out on top...despite how hard we try to bring him down. Drats. You mean you all lied...AGAIN? The IRS did what they were supposed to do. It's sad to see an American citizen taking delight in a political party abusing American citizens with govt tyranny. Politics in America is in a sad state and it's because of the hatred, lies, and criminal behavior of the corrupt demonrat party.

Mildred
Evidently the buck stops with someone else. The left will never hold themselves responsible for anything. If Obama was a white republican, the media and the left would be going crazy over Benghazi and the IRS. America is sick and Obama and the corrupt press is the disease. theLion
Evidently the buck stops with someone else. Evidently, you don't understand that Truman's "The Buck Stops Here" implied that 'the buck GOT there', which it did not in this incident. But that's Cons - when they try to misquote their betters, they always get it wrong.

It was going to bring the Obama Administration to its knees and destroy the black man's presidency? Where's Issa when we need the lil bastard to flog in the public square? theLion
How do you know it doesn't go to Obama? Have you been following the story at all? Despite all the Republican claims that this was some nefarious White House / Obama campaign conspiracy, they haven't come up with ANYTHING to support such accusations. Accusations which the same Republicans have spent the last week trying to backflip away from, once they were shown to be validity-empty mudslinging. Mildred
Then you agree that Reagan was responsible for Iran-Contra? Of course. No, evidently you don't understand Truman's sign, and what he said in relation to it. Truman compared it once to the coach of a team, where the coach is responsible for the team. It derives from "passing the buck", and it means to take responsibility, which is, of course, completely the opposite of waiting for responsibility to come to you. But I can understand why that difference would escape you. Then you agree that Reagan was responsible for Iran-Contra? bbuuuttt Bush! bbbuuutt Reagan! You guys will do anything to deflect, won't you? Next drinking game ensues... No worries mate...Obama has Americas best interest in mind ! Hahaha. Even Obama's getting in on the drinking game. Cheers.
