That's right. The deficit has been turned around. NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC, CNN...all controlled by the corporate right, is busy hyping the failed so-called "scandals"...while the country is in full recovery mode and they.....won't.....cover it.

Just wanted to point this out. :P

Poor Draino just doesn't understand numbers, economics or facts.

Obama Tripled the deficit when he took office.

He promised to HALVE Bush's deficit.

Has he done that?

No.

Game. Set. Match.

I do however, really enjoy watching liberals give Obama credit for the results of Republicans obstructing Obama's spending.

Keynesian economists say that the deficit is narrowing too quickly, curtailing growth and threatening to derail an economy that grew a tepid 2.5 percent in the first quarter.

Dopey libs are trying to undo the little bit of cuts we are getting.

Hard to fight stupid.

1. We're not in full recovery mode. Not even close DUMBASS.

2. Yes his deficits are FINALLY decreasing after adding more in 41/2 years to the national debt than Bush did in 8 and WE ALL KNOW how fiscally conservative Bush was......:lol:

Obama's deficit is projected to be $901 trillion in 2013. Only $455 trillion to go to get to Bush's deficit! Then another $227 trillion to actually cut in half. C'mon man, you can make it!!

And, oh, by the way, the 2009 budget wasn't signed until March 6, 2009. For those of you who are calendar-impaired, this is AFTER Obama took office, so FY 2009 is his problem.

So yes, dano, the deficit has been turned around thanks to increased taxation, but it still has a long way to go. We'll never get rid of the debt but damn, pass a balanced budget for once. Hell, propose one on time for once.

Yes our Barry has whittled down the national debt from just a bit over $10 Trillion when he took office to over $16 Trillion now. I'd say that was HOPE and CHANGE we can all believe in, wouldn't you?

Hey look, another numeric illiterate who doesn' t know that there is a difference between 'deficit' and 'debt'.

To say nothing of the difference between 'trillion' and 'billion'.

No.... he labeled debt appropriately with 10 trillion going to 16+ trillion...... You did know the deficit gets added to the debt right?:lol:

You're a liar, but that's what you do. The deficit has shrank every year since Obama took office in 2009.

It was $1.4 trillion when he took office. It is now at $744 billion. That is halving it dumb ass. Your stupidity is frightening.

Nope. The deficit wasn't 1.4 Trillion when he took office. HE increased the deficit with his Omnibus spending bill passed in February 2009 of over $400 Billion, and his $1 Trillion stimulus.

Can you add $1 Trillion and $400 Billion? SHAZAAM! $1.4 Trillion - exactly the number you attribute to Bush.

Rule #1: Liberals lie

And as for your claim that Obama shrank the deficit every year since taking office, you clearly don't know WTF you're talking about:

As even a monkey can see, FY2012 is larger than 2011, and 2011 was larger than 2010.

Dumbass.

Oh, and by the way, the 2009 budget was passed out of Congress in summer 2008, months before Obama was elected, and it was the exact 3.1T that Bush has originally requested. Trying to pin the 2009 budget on Obama is like trying to pin the car accident on the guy who stops by to pull the Republicans out of the wreckage.

Your theory being that the entire bill for the Stimulus package (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009) fell into the 2009 deficit. The fact is that only 185 (net) of the bills effects would fall into fy2009.

But what you neglect to mention, either though ignorance or dishonest omission is that Nancy and Harry didn't allow Bush to pass an entire budget, which is why Obama passed an Omnibus spending bill in February 2009, which added to the 2009 budget.

Wait a minute, just a couple of posts ago you tried to use the omnibus spending bill as an explanation of why the 2009 budget ran a 1.4T deficit, and now you;re trying to claim that the 400B omnibus spending bill wasn't really part of teh fy 2009 budget at all?

Do you have the slightest idea what you're trying to talk about?

I'm glad you agree, although you haven't figured out what you're agreeing to.

Apparently you don't know what you're talking about. Pelosi and Reid held up final approval until after the elections. While the budget was passed in Congress, the WH didn't approve it until we had a new president. Let's give credit where credit is due.
