dano bivins
http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2013-05-23/the-deficit-is-shrinking-and-nobody-cares That's right. The deficit has been turned around. NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC, CNN...all controlled by the corporate right, is busy hyping the failed so-called "scandals"...while the country is in full recovery mode and they.....won't.....cover it. Golfboy
Poor Draino just doesn't understand numbers, economics or facts. Obama Tripled the deficit when he took office. He promised to HALVE Bush's deficit. Has he done that? No. Game. Set. Match. I do however, really enjoy watching liberals give Obama credit for the results of Republicans obstructing Obama's spending.
neue regel
Keynesian economists say that the deficit is narrowing too quickly, curtailing growth and threatening to derail an economy that grew a tepid 2.5 percent in the first quarter. Dopey libs are trying to undo the little bit of cuts we are getting. Hard to fight stupid.

Yes his deficits are FINALLY decreasing after adding more in 41/2 years to the national debt than Bush did in 8 and WE ALL KNOW how fiscally conservative Bush was......

Just wanted to point this out. Obama's deficit is projected to be $901 trillion in 2013. Only $455 trillion to go to get to Bush's deficit! Then another $227 trillion to actually cut in half. C'mon man, you can make it!! http://usgovinfo.about.com/od/federalbudgetprocess/a/Budget-Deficit-History.htm And, oh, by the way, the 2009 budget wasn't signed until March 6, 2009. For those of you who are calendar-impaired, this is AFTER Obama took office, so FY 2009 is his problem. http://blog.heritage.org/2012/05/24/the-truth-about-president-obamas-skyrocketing-spending/ So yes, dano, the deficit has been turned around thanks to increased taxation, but it still has a long way to go. We'll never get rid of the debt but damn, pass a balanced budget for once. Hell, propose one on time for once. http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/inside-politics/2013/feb/4/obama-misses-budget-deadline/

HE increased the deficit with his Omnibus spending bill passed in February 2009 of over $400 Billion, and his $1 Trillion stimulus. Can you add $1 Trillion and $400 Billion? SHAZAAM! $1.4 Trillion - exactly the number you attribute to Bush. Rule #1: Liberals lie And as for your claim that Obama shrank the deficit every year since taking office, you clearly don't know WTF you're talking about: FY 2012 - $1.327 trillion. FY 2011 - $1.299 trillion. FY 2010 - $1.293 trillion As even a monkey can see, FY2012 is larger than 2011, and 2011 was larger than 2010. Dumbass. The fact is that only 185 (net) of the bills effects would fall into fy2009.

Wait a minute, just a couple of posts ago you tried to use the omnibus spending bill as an explanation of why the 2009 budget ran a 1.4T deficit, and now you;re trying to claim that the 400B omnibus spending bill wasn't really part of teh fy 2009 budget at all? Do you have the slightest idea what you're trying to talk about? And it was finally signed by President Obama in March 2009. What he said. Pelosi and Reid held up final approval until after the elections. While the budget was passed in Congress, the WH didn't approve it until we had a new president. Let's give credit where credit is due.
