Brattle Street
“When religion is good, it will take care of itself. When it is not able to take care of itself, and God does not see fit to take care of it, so that it has to appeal to the civil power for support, it is evidence to my mind that its cause is a bad one.” --Benjamin Franklin, Statesman, Inventor, Author, Letter to Dr. Price. sole result
So Christian theocracy is out, right. What is leftover to choose from? Left theocracy=blue Right theocracy=red East theocracy=yellow West theocracy=red Political theocracy=white Spiritual theocracy=violet Economic theocracy=indigo Rainbow prism of light current flows all existing within the same instant all the time clear as daylight and dark as night to the same atmosphere in the same moment. Ideologies within the same vocabulary using the same words meaning separate things to each. This is where I talk about orchestrated chaos invented by using alphabets to define the periodic table of element's results adding together now becoming everything here as it occurs physically. Seven sins or 7 virtues as each offers an either or option creating 14 ways to separate real and reality, just like ancestry brings in ancestors to become ancestry now in this atmosphere absolutely the only physical way it operates natural balance of compounding exponential individually? sole result
Everybody fills their need for God gap somehow. Some ways are more constructive than others. This "body" is not part of a collective "everybody" following one idea. Degrees of not wanting to know more than educated to believe in, in theocracy or theoretocracy. Church and state creating a common sense of saving misdirection and rewards for never questioning what real is in plain sight, economicracy. all this maintained by academia and arts and entertainment advertising new concepts of what if to trade away what was believed and creates a new faith in humanity serving a greater good keeping every body in the dark of what real is, plain as day. Gator
Interesting op graphic. Who's to say that evolution isn't all part of God's grand design of creation? When it say's we're made in God's image we may want to seriously rethink that to mean we're made in the image of God's energy instead of our current human form which is constantly evolving. All we have to do to prove this to ourselves is look at our human appendix and how even living plants evolve around us as their habitat changes. Evolution and creation are not separate and distinct, they're as interrelated as we are and so is everything else around us. Also religion has no more of a place in politics anymore than politics has any place in religion. We see how that doesn't work by the way the christian right tried to forcibly legislate their morality onto mainstream american and the islamic jihadists who believe they can enter their valhalla free of sin by killing no islamic believers. Gator
Why is that? Why? How can it be any worse than the Christians? Sharia law allows for politically motivated fatwahs designed directly into their religion which terrorists use as the basis for their actions to harm others in their stateless belligerent actions. "The ruling to kill the Americans and their allies—civilians and military—is an individual duty for every Muslim who can do it in any country in which it is possible to do it, in order to liberate the al-Aqsa Mosque [in Jerusalem] and the holy mosque [in Mecca] from their grip, and in order for their armies to move out of all the lands of Islam, defeated and unable to threaten any Muslim. This is in accordance with the words of Almighty Allah, 'and fight the pagans all together as they fight you all together,' and 'fight them until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah'." Brattle Street
Dominionism is an offshoot of Christian Reconstruction, a radical philosophy made famous by R.J. Rushdoony early last century. Reconstruction calls for the replacement of man’s law with Biblical law with all that it entails. Rushdoony was a great believer in the death penalty for blasphemy, homosexuality, infidelity and other transgressions that would make an al Qaeda fanatic feel right at home. He popularized the concept that America was originally a Christian nation founded explicitly on Judeo-Christian principles and that we have strayed from that original, righteous path. Hence, the needed “reconstruction” of America.Read more: http://www.addictinginfo.org/2012/02/29/the-cult-of-christian-dominionism-or-its-not-a-cult-my-beloved-leader-and-all-of-his-followers-tell-me-so/#ixzz2WAFQhFzl

lewstherin
i'd rather my kid go to a christian school than to be dumbed down by the junk science and social engineering of today's liberal agenda in public schooling. it's why private religious schools today score higher academically than the public schools. liberalism turns kids into mindless sheep more concerned with political correctness than actual academic learning. sole result
I thought it would be something like socialism ("creates a new faith in humanity serving a greater good") When they all achieve the same goal, does it really matter which? What does serving a greater good refer? Picking a lesser of two evils? What does any good doing that? these are rhetorical questions by the way.
