Wharf Rat2
Martins actions, as described by Zimmerman to Police -- once Martin realized he was being stalked by an unknown person: running from this unknown stalker, hiding from this unknown stalker, and then, when confronted by this unknown stalker, reacting with fear for his life against this unknown unidentified stalker, all prove Zimmy assaulted Martin under Florida assault law. Goodbye Zimmy!

PainfulPleasure
Until the judge bangs his gavel, not a damn thing any of you so called big hearted and loving Liberals say matters. The case is going to be a tough one to call because both prosecution and defense has a good argument and it could go either way. Now the only thing that matters is the proof, the facts, and the jury's decision. Hell, the jury hasnt even been picked yet and you bleeding heart liberals have already got him strapped into ol' sparky. When all is said and done, both sides have a good argument for their side and it will come down to the facts, and who the jury believes more. Plain and simple, nothing is open and shut about this case, and not a single one of you have enough knowledge of the law or even what the jury is thinking about it all. I believe Zimmerman will walk because there is enough evidence to support his claims of self defense. But, I can wait until the verdict is read before passing judgement on the man. Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Some of you clearly need to remember that is how our legal system works. Not, he is guilty until he can prove he is innocent. PainfulPleasure
Of course, there are some of you who enjoy passing judgement onto people far too quickly, and are assuredly quick to whine and cry when someone does the exact same to you. Passing judgement on you is forbidden, but you think you can pass judgement on everyone else like its your damn job to pass judgement. PainfulPleasure
Martin still had the tlright to stand his ground too. But he wasnt standing his ground, he was forcing a confrontation and initiated the assault. When he turned around instead of going into his fathers home where he was staying, and walked up to Zimmerman as if he was trying to start a fight instead of avoiding one, he lost the position of only standing his ground and became the aggressor. That made Zimmerman the man who was standing his ground. If Zimmerman had caught up to Martin and grabbed him, spun him around and started to threaten Martin, Martin would have been standing his ground. Martin was the aggressor, threw the first punch, was winning the actual fight until the gun was fired, so when was he standing his ground as a victim to a Zimmerman attack??? Martin had every right to protect himself, but he never had to because he was the one who attacked and was beating Zimmerman.
drwgblanks
I find it idiotic that a lib friend of mine says that we are running on Benghazi for politics, not for the fact that someone's ass needs to pay for the incompetence and the outright lies....yet, Trayvon's killer, although almost everything points to self defense, must be put to death. "What difference does it make now?" Clinton says. Oh the humanity.
tommy
Did they ever find out who was screaming for help yet? If someone lied they would be prosecuted in the benghazi case.

tommy
Zimmy was told be a cop to not follow the suspicious person and he did. Which led to the fight that ultimately led to the death of a minor.
drwgblanks
Ok, so which is worse now? Zimmerman claiming self defense and trying to defend it, or Clinton and company lying, and then claiming "what difference does it make now?" seriously don't try to defend this crap, it's just idiotic. PainfulPleasure
Zimmy was told be a cop to not follow the suspicious person and he did. Which led to the fight that ultimately led to the death of a minor. He was NOT told by a cop to not follow the suspicious person. He was told by a dispatcher who are not actual police officers and have NOT A SINGLE OUNCE of legal influence over ANYONE. HUGE difference between a dispatcher or 911 operator and a police officer. drwgblanks
Lol Stalker. What's even worse about all this, is that they are both probably liberals, yet the "Powers that be" figured out who would be the best "victim" and the best "assailant" in this case, and Zimmerman (although a minority) could be made a white, crazy, gun toting righty. It's great for politics. Throw him under the bus for the agenda. Got to have a Liberal victim right? Still I ask though...."what difference does it make now?" Nobody needs to take "the stand" for justice anymore. Claim the f'in 5th. That's all just truth and common sense spoken with no blinders on. Think about it liberals. Martin had every right to protect himself, but he never had to because he was the one who attacked and was beating Zimmerman. That's all wrong...Zimmy pulled his gun and than Trayvon yelled for help 7 times, than Zimmy capped him and than Trayvon beat the shit out of Zimmy until he started succumbing to his wounds but still managed to yell for help 7 more times before he passed on. Zimmys actions caused a series of reactions from Martin, all of which were reactions based on fear. .
