Golfboy
No wonder liberals pretend that voter fraud doesn't exist. They don't want to be caught red handed like these idiots. Congressman Joe Garcia’s chief of staff implicated in phantom absentee-ballot requests schemehttp://www.miamiherald.com/2013/05/31/v-fullstory/3426745/miami-congressman-joe-garcias.html Congressman Joe Garcia’s chief of staff abruptly resigned Friday after being implicated in a sophisticated scheme to manipulate last year’s primary elections by submitting hundreds of fraudulent absentee-ballot requests. Friday afternoon, Garcia said he had asked Jeffrey Garcia, no relation, for his resignation after the chief of staff — also the congressman’s top political strategist — took responsibility for the plot. Hours earlier, law enforcement investigators raided the homes of another of Joe Garcia’s employees and a former campaign aide in connection with an ongoing criminal investigation into the matter. “I’m shocked and disappointed about this,” Garcia, who said he was unaware of the scheme, told The Miami Herald. “This is something that hit me from left field. Until today, I had no earthly idea this was going on.” Jeffrey Garcia, 40, declined to comment. He also worked last year on the campaign of Democrat Patrick Murphy of Jupiter, who unseated tea-party Republican congressman Allen West. Murphy has not been implicated in the phantom-requests operation. I'm shocked! Shocked i tell you!
Golfboy
Isn't it strange how none of our liberal friends want to touch this thread? None of you want to explain people in Democratic Congressional offices actually running voter fraud rings? No wonder you don't want any reform in the are of voter fraud. You'd probably eliminate 10% of the Democratic vote.

ObummerStinks
The whole "there's no voter fraud" is bogus, just as this scenario in Florida exposes. The only difference between this Dem voting fraud and the others, is these guys got caught, and more surprisingly - the leftist media wasn't able to sweep it under the rug before the info got out. Gallows 420
Nevada High Court Upholds ACORN Convictions CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) -- The Nevada Supreme Court has upheld felony convictions stemming from the group ACORN's voter registration practices. A high court decision out Thursday said it's OK for Nevada to bar payments based on how many people someone registers or how many people of a particular party one registers. The ruling stems from a 2008 case in which the community group ACORN hired people to register voters in Las Vegas. A Secretary of State investigation found a program called "blackjack" in which the group offered a $5 bonus if a canvasser registered 21 or more voters. ACORN supervisor Amy Busefink pleaded an equivalent of no contest to two counts of conspiracy and was ordered to informal probation and community service. She appealed, but the Nevada Supreme Court says state law is constitutional.
