Breaking news: mother lets her 5 year old son drive the family car. Son hits and kills a pedestrian. It's totally the car's fault!

It's amazing how dense some people are...

Nice way of putting it.

We have your motherfuckin' liberal forum surrounded

Put down the candy and let the little boy go

"As Stephanie Sparks cleaned the kitchen, her 5-year-old son, Kristian, began playing with a rifle he was given last year. She stepped out onto the front porch, poured grease out of a frying pan for the dogs and "heard the gun go off," a Kentucky coroner said.

Authorities said the boy had fatally shot his 2-year-old sister, Caroline, in the chest."

"In this case, the rifle was made by a company that sells guns specifically for children — "My first rifle" is the slogan — in colors ranging from plain brown to hot pink to royal blue to multi-color swirls."

There's nothing more I can add to this story.

Stephanie sparks....."Mother of the Year" should be sterilized as too stupid to breed.....

Something about "if your porch collapses and more than two dogs die.....you might be a redneck," comes to mind.

As STUPID as Stephanie is..... There is always Microwave oven parents:

Hey dumbass. Let's check the state of Kentucky's federal voting record. Solid RED dicklicker.

The only areas where it doesn't sound like a banjo playing when they talk is in Louisville, Lexington and Northern Kentucky.

Sounds to me like the argument put fwd by retards like cedar is that it's irresponsible for parents to let kids under say...9...own and use guns. Does that sound about right? Is anyone making that point?

I target shoot with all three of my kids. They know what guns are and they not only know how to use them, but also how to RESPECT THEM AND THE PEOPLE AROUND THEM. I have a 10 yo girl a 8 yo bot and 4 yo girl. I keep many weapons around the house and HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY KIDS KNOWING ABSOLUTELY NOT TO TOUCH THEM UNLESS I PUT THEM IN THEIR HAND.

My kids are home schooled by me and have better gun safety etiquette than most adults I have shot with. They do not "Own their own weapons", Our weapons we consider to belong to the family. Strict rules are in place concerning their handling and use. It's a fun hobby we all enjoy together, my "Liberal" wife included.

So you think there's 679,340 colored folks in Kentucky? Or ya think maybe a few of them banjo playin' trailer dwellers voted for Obama?

Well....Federal law says 18 to own a long gun and 21 to own a handgun (own being the age at which you can legally buy one)

State laws may vary....

I would argue that UNSUPERVISED use of any gun by a child of 11 (with a few exceptions) is irresponsible. Not saying a 5 year old cannot be taught to shoot but certainly not given unfettered access to a gun and ammunition.

It could be possible I suppose.

I can agree with this.

What about the drunk that kills a whole family?

What about the homosexual movie that leads to AIDS?

What about the pornography that leads to an illegitimate child that leads a miserable life.

Propaganda is the partial truth, but leaves a lot of the truth untold.

What about the propagandaist that gets gun control inacted and a faimily is robbed and raped by thugs with guns.

Overall I beleive having guns is better than not having guns. I believe in self defense, even if there are some accidental deaths.

6 million jews would in hindsight agree......The Holocost would not have been the same without gun control.

If the mother tries to teach her 5 year old how to drive the car and then gives him the keys, then she's as stupid as the parents of that Kentucky couple. Read what I said again; I said it was due to the culture of guns, not due to the gun itself. I know reading is difficult for you, but those are not the same thing.

If this "Kid" had been raised in "Gun culture" he would have known better than to point any weapon LOADED OR NOT at a loved one. In "Gun culture" you so ignorantly speak of, you are taught that YOU TREAT ALL GUNS ARE LOADED AT ALL TIMES.You know nothing about "Gun culture", THAT IS VERY CLEAR. You are embarrassing yourself with these ignorant stereo types you are tossing around.

I'll make that point. I don't care how much gun safety you teach a child, I don't care if you teach him to respect the guns, a young child does not have the judgement to know when to use a gun. No child under 18 should ever have access to a gun unless in the presence of a responsible adult.

Some moron on this thread said that no law was broken. Want to bet ? I'll bet that one or both of these parents will be charged with reckless endangerment or negligent manslaughter. And they should be.

No CAP laws in Kentucky with regards to rifles.

I would never allow my 5 yr old to use or operate a gun without adult supervision. I did allow my son to hunt by himself when he turned 13. He was raised shooting guns and knows how and when to use them. This entire OP comes down to the parents period. You can replace the word gun with 100 different items from toys to cars.

Ok then, what law was broken ? What would you base the charges on ? Bad parenting ? Some sort of neglect law, sure, gun law ? NO.

What about children OVER 18?

At what point do they stop being children and start being adults?

I'm gonna assume you follow the same Liberal talking points that say David Gregory and Gabby Gifford's husband shouldn't be charged with crimes for possessing a large capacity magazine in DC and buying a gun under false pretenses, because society wouldn't be benefited by locking them up.

Would I be right or wrong with that assumption?

Using that same logic, should this parent be charged and tried for causing their child's death?

Why or why not?

2) You are a shitty parent and your kids do not understand or RESPECT you
