Dems Oppose "romney/ciick-A-Filet 2012" Ticket?

Recommended Posts

Romney has clearly stated he agrees with corporations are people. Doesn't that open his selection field for a running mate substantially?

Are all GOPpers gonna by rallying behind the Romney/Chick-A-Filet 2012 ticket?

 Sadly a corportation has more personality than Mitt Romney.

But since we are talkin about Chick-Fil-A, I would like to say that I am so sick of conservatives making such a big deal about supporting Chick-Fil-A. I get it, you're intolerant morons.

The thing is many of them won't just be brave enough to say that they agree with the oppinion, and THAT is why they are showing the love. They hide behind saying that they support the Chick-Fil-A CEO's (I'm too lazy to look his name up. Let's just call him Adolph)right to free speech. Ok yeah, so do I. The guy has the right to say whatever the hell he wants. And we have the right to boycott his restaurant and let him know that his oppinions are wrong.

If this dirtbag would have come out against rights for black people, he wouldn't be getting this kind of support. Not that many idiots wouldn't have agreed with him, they would. They would just be smart enough not to publically express it. There would be an uproar and before long Chick-Fil-A would be a thing of the past. But not with the gay community! He can say whatever he wants and if supporters of gay rights speak out against him then we are suddenly destroying his free speech.

I absolutely refuse to eat at a Chick-Fil-A. If it's the only restaurant for two hundred miles then I will just wait. Just like if I had a son I would refuse to let him in the boyscouts due to their beliefs of homosexuals. I think the scouts can teach children many good things, but I'm more worried about what bad things they learn there, like that judging someone based on their sexuality is okay. Because it simply is not. Personally I hope that Chick-Fil-A goes bankrupt and shuts down. And I hope that history will only remember Dan Cathy (I finally did look his name up) for what he truely is: a bigot.

Don't you think that you are being a little intolerant? Most people don't care one way or the other about gays. What they do care about is a politician abusing his office because he doesn't like what someone said. American citizens are perfectly capable of using the power of their purse to make a statement. If they don't agree with the values of the CEO of Chick-Fil-A then the simple answer is to not go there. If they want to bring gays in to kiss then so what? If they want to picket I don't care about that either (unless they are screwing up traffic). All are perfectly acceptable under the Constitution. Getting up infront a national crowd and saying they would use their office to stop a particular business from setting up shop in their city is beyond what the Constitution allows and should be protested most vigorously by all Americans regardless of race, creed, or sexual orientation.

What I would really like to know though because it is kind of annoying me is what do they hope to accomplish by kissing at a Chick-Fil-A? Are they gay or are they 14 years old kids? I wonder how the staff who doesn't give a rat's ass about the sexual orientation of people is going to react to a bunch of people making out like kids while not trying to buy anything? In the 60s blacks simply tried to get service. If gays go in there and don't try to get service then I am willing to bet that they are going to jail. Guess that is cool because it will fill the coffers of the cities with bail money.

Coupla things:

I am fully in support of same-sex marriage.

I've eaten at Chick-Fil-A, and I wasn't impressed.

The guy has every right to his opinion.

In their contract, Chick-Fil-A says that they do not discriminate with regard to hiring.

Bottom line for me: I don't give two shits about the chain, the guy's opinion, or the protest. Eat there or don't--support gay rights or don't--we ALL have the right to our opinions.

No holds barred chat

  • Hey kfools.. does this help?

  • By Vegas

    Liberals are going to hell.

  • grgle

  • Where’s at @slideman?

  • Hola

  • I know this one, this new chat thing. I've seen it called the "shoutbox" among other things in my past. Very hard to hide from the chat box. The question is asked, there's no time to go search what other folks think, this is real time. Only seconds should be between chat box replies. This one is made for me. In the chat box one has to be quick on their feet with stuff at the ready. This chat box is the worst nightmare of anyone trying to deal with ol' teach.

  • By pmurT

hey @teacher that sounds like too much work for me LOL I need that useless thing called *time* in order to authenticate facts and truths which get posted by deceitful Dems

  • What does the red number refer to? currently, on my screen it says 2

  • Where does it say 2?

  • So. In the chat....if you tag a member the text afterwards should be a private message.

  • How do? I'm teacher. If I'm online and the powers that be can figure out how to make it immediately apparent to me that whatever I've said here has been replied to I'm gonna show up right quick and kick some teeth in. It's the chat box, all this is new and scary. I know this gig. This starts now.

  • Hey kfools, did you lose your securtiy cert? On my browser it is saying your site is not secure?

  • Mine too. I'm looking into it.

  • Mine too.

  • I thought it was my location..

  • Just gave to renew the security cert. No big deal I'll do it tonight

  • OK thanks

  • Happy Anniversary, America... on your Civil Union.

  • All lives matter.

Scroll the other way for a while and you'll see me saying that these days the chat box ain't gonna work as one has to be quick on one's feet. The question is posed, there ain't no stinkin time for ya'll to refer to your betters for the answer, ya'll don't understand these things, this political debate, ya'll don't have the answer at hand, ya'll haven't thought this through, ya'll ain't ready for the next question I'll ask,  ya'll can't handle the pace that a bloke such as I can bring it in the chat box, ya'll can't handle this format.

This one is made for me.

Being offended does not make one correct.

Some few days before the next election Mr. Fools is gonna pin my horse thread. it's gonna be horrible, I shall endevour every day to bring some some fresh.

  • How do I get rid of this chatroom box?

  • How do I get rid of this chatroom box?

  • By nuckin futz

    Get me out of Chatbox!

  • By jefftec

The chatbox stays expanded and is a nuisance blocking screen images. What setting is there to control/collapse chatbox?

  • By kfools

Just click the no holds barred to collapse it.

  • By XavierOnassis

    diddle dee dee

  • By teacher

Like Jesse Ventura said to all that would not take a chew in the movie "Predator." LF.org is a political debate forum. This chatbox just ups the opportunity to go at it. Ya'll have your political views, seems to me that ya'll should have thought these things out and be ready to battle.

  • By teacher

Is real time political debate a thing ya'll hide from? What do you morons do if you happen to run into some one with opposing political views on the street?

  • By teacher

I've never ran into anyone, in real life,  that said Obama lied. I run into folks that tell me Trump lies. I'm at work. I didn't bring it up. I don't reply, I'm representing a company. Not my place.

  • By teacher

Lookie there, all I have to do is get out and come back. Why is it that liberals, when they have a company man before them decide they that is the time they go off? Why would ya'll put a company man into that position?

  • By teacher
