Dark Matter Even More Missing Now ...

LOL!   THAT is the *picture* they promised we'd get over a year ago?   What took them so long, laripu?   Well, I'll tell you what took so long.   First of all, that is not a photo of a black hole ... not the way the public thinks of photos.    That image was produced by mixing many different signals from different telescopes, using algorithms that increased the resolution with interference, and those algorithms likely assumed that there must be a black hole and nothing else.  People who work with interference data will tell you that you can create a vast number of possible images from a set of data ... especially if the focus is bad.   What they did is select the image that they found the "most likely".   And they likely only selected donut-shaped images because that is what they expected to see.    If you don't believe me about this, watch this video from the team that produced that image ...

They likely had to process and process and process and process the data until they were finally able to get an *image* that sort of looks like all those artist conceptions of black holes that they've fed the gullible public for the last 10 years.   Because, remember,  the purpose of this study is to justify the hundreds of millions of dollars that have been spent looking for black holes and using black holes to explain away every unexplained observation they've encountered over the years.  For this reason, that image could very well be an example of garbage in and garbage out.  So call me a little skeptical.  If that's all they have to show for their effort, I'd be embarrassed if I were them.

You completely missed the point.   Not unexpected.

This morning, Ira Flato interviewed a group of astrophysicists and other scientists on "Science Friday",    It was crystal clear, that the reality of black holes is mainstream belief in the scientific community.

I know more than the scientists do, believe me. I have a big brain, the size of Uranus, and an IQ of over 42 thousand. They couldn't get it exactly because it broke the machine that measures IQ, but I have an unbelievable IQ, the highest IQ in the entire galaxy, believe me.

About black holes, no one knows more about black holes than I do. I know how they feel, and how they smell. I've been right next to many black holes, and I don't let them pull on me. It's incredible, they try, but they can't move me. And no one has created more jobs for black holes than I have. No one in history has been as good for black holes as I have.

The lying press said I had no gravitas. Gravitas, what does that even mean? I have more gravitas than any black hole, believe me.

So I know, more than anyone, that the picture of the black hole is fake. At the very least, the hair is dyed that orange color, but it's fake. I know all about hair dye. And black holes. Big league.

LOL!   So is AGWalarmism.    Why is it you folks keep having to rely on consensus to debate issues?

Consensus is one thing.  Overwhelming consensus is another.  Since I don't understand the intricacies of quantum physics (and neither do you), I rely on those I trust, who specialize in the subject.

LOL!

Is that why you also believe the Russian Collusion LIE and the AGWalarmism LIE?

Can't you think for yourself, bludog?

Because neither this topic or those two is really rocket science.

Why don't you just admit ... you believe in gnomes.

Be it Big Bang ones, corrupt FBI/DOJ/Obama/Clinton ones, or CO2 ones.

Oh ... and don't forget the Socialism Is Great one.

In not one of them can you debate the evidence and facts.

Which is why you retreat into this consensus nonsense every single time.

Coming from a guy that doesn't understand quantum physics.  Save the gratuitous mocking for NHB.

What do you know of quantum physics, bludog?   And what does it have to do with this anyway?    I know this.   Quantum physics is real.   It's been thoroughly tested.   It's part of the Standard Model.   In fact, as I've pointed out on this thread previously, everything in the Standard Model has been found, including the Higgs Boson.   Dark matter is not part of the standard model.  All the particles and forces sought to explain this mythical beast are an extension to the Standard Model that billions and billions of dollars have been spent trying to find for decades.   With absolutely no success.  NOTHING in the extension has been found.   Not a damn thing.   It's all one big gnome built on a bunch of other gnomes ... just because modern astrophysicists don't understand plasma physics and electromagnetism ... the things that explain the phenomena that the astrophysicists invented dark matter to explain.   Sad ... but true.

By the way, bludog, I bet *consensus* is also why you think Bill and Hillary were innocent of all the crimes they clearly committed.

DENVER — Last week, the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) released the first-ever image of a black hole's shadow cast against the hot gas of its accretion disk. That image, of the black hole at the center of galaxy Messier 87 (M87), was front page news all over the world. Soon, the EHT will produce the first movie of that hot gas whirling chaotically around the shadow, said project leaders who spoke Sunday (April 14) here at the April meeting of the American Physical Society.

Promises promises.

The mainstream cult has made so many unfulfilled promises.

But from the standpoint of the mainstream, at least they've kept the money flowing ...

Meanwhile, you don't really have a picture.    And I bet neither of you took the time to watch the last video I posted.   Heaven forbid you actually learn something.   B)

The plasma first video is a rehash of many videos before.  It represents the ideas of a current, splinter group which opposes the mainstream in astrophysics today.  There is nothing wrong with agreeing with the minority or promoting their views.  They could be correct.  But do not be deceived into thinking that your sympathies represent anything more than opinion.  Factual conclusions will have to wait until further advances in current knowledge of the cosmos become widely recognized.

In the meantime, for those who do not fully understand the complexities of the plasma vs. gravity debate;  And, like it or not, that includes me, you and most non-physicists;  Consensus is a valid means of accord.  That doesn't mean that those who support the outnumbered few, might not be correct.  But a quantum leap of discovery is required before undisputed proof substantiates one belief or the other.

speaks for itself

So does this ...

https://www.nature.com/articles/nature25029

Quote

The existence of a ‘density cusp’1,2—a localized increase in number—of stellar-mass black holes near a supermassive black hole is a fundamental prediction of galactic stellar dynamics3. The best place to detect such a cusp is in the Galactic Centre, where the nearest supermassive black hole, Sagittarius A*, resides. As many as 20,000 black holes are predicted to settle into the central parsec of the Galaxy as a result of dynamical friction3,4,5; however, so far no density cusp of black holes has been detected.

So it looks like as many as 20000 black holes are missing.

Just like all that Dark Matter you folks believe in so cult-like.

And you still don’t know how the black hole that mainstream astrophysicists *imaged* (and I use that word VERY loosely) produced this …

How can that be, snowflake?

Well, bludog, let's just say I think the mainstream has had enough time (over 80 years) and money (billions and billions and billions of dollars) to prove their beliefs.

They've come up empty.

Maybe it's time to give the other side some money and let them try to prove theirs?

Rather than allowing the mainstream to work nonstop to misrepresent and even suppress their existence from the public.

Just saying ...

Most EU proponents claim some kind of relation to the "plasma cosmology" of the Nobel Prize laureate Hannes Alfvén (see also Nobel disease). Too bad his model was debunked by the missing observations of the radio emission predicted by his cosmology.[19]

 he was wrong

and i think He even writes the goofy manifesto thunderbolts of the gods at the end

saturn was a sun lightning made all the craters on planets and venus is a object tossed into our solar system ?

and I am curious what you like to read ? you seem to know your way around old sci fi writers well
