The P B S Whitewash Of Clinton's Legacy

Recommended Posts

I love it when lowlifes like this try to reinvent our recent past and challenge cold hard economic data.

Clinton handed a huge surplus to the Chimpster and then he tanked it IN LESS THAN 9 MONTHS.

Sorry the facts are so hard for you to handle.

Braindead fucks like you are why it's useless to bother explaining these things....much better we just wait until the shooting starts and come looking for those who enabled the destruction of this Nation. Welcome to the jungle.....your stay will be short and not end well.

Braindead spam words like you are why it's useless to bother explaining these things....

No need to explain anything when you can use factual data from news wire services....like I just did and you ignored.

This is why the right wing is a laughing stock with THEIR version of the facts.

PBS will begin showing a 2 part series on Bill Clinton tonight, a liberal icon. The only question is how big a whitewash it will be. That will depend on whether the following topics are properly and fairly covered … but I suspect most will be ignored:

- his corrupting the election system (CampaignFinancegate)

- his selling out America to potential foreign enemies for campaign contributions (Chinagate)

- his illegally acquiring blackmail material on political opponents (Filegate)

- his attempts to hide the misdeeds (Emailgate, etc)

- his sexual assaults (including the rape of Juanita Broaddrick)

- sexual harassment (of many women, including Monica)

- Monicagate (how Ken Starr used this scandal to help Clinton escape justice)

- the incriminating circumstances in Vince Foster's death (murder)

- the incriminating circumstances in Ron Brown's death (murder)

- Travelgate

- Pardongate

- perjury (actually, he lied to virtually everyone he could possibly lie to)

- obstruction of justice (too many examples to list)

- blackmail

- intimidation of witnesses

- evidence tampering

- witness tampering

- bribery

- abuse of the IRS

- abuse of the military

- abuse of the FBI

- abuse of the DOJ

- violation of drug laws

- national security violations

- his role in the collapse of the mortgage market

- his role in 9/11 occuring

- who really was responsible for balancing the budget in the 90s

- who really was responsible for the economic boom in the 90s

And I would happy to discuss ANY of those topics on this thread. :)

As long as we’re talking about scandals…

Posted December 5th, 2006 at 2:00 pm

Paul Mirengoff at Powerline recently admitted to having a poor memory. “I may be missing someone,” Mirengoff said, “but the only high-profile administration offical [sic] I can think of who has faced criminal charges or had to resign in the face of scandal is Scooter Libby, who worked for the Vice President and who is not accused of corruption.”

And with that, the Josh Marshall, Justin Rood, and the TPM crew was off. As of this afternoon, they’ve come up with quite a list. It’s still being updated, but at last count…

* nine Bush administration officials fall under the “indicted/convicted/pled guilty” category;

* 13 Bush administration officials fall under the “resigned due to investigation” category;

* and three Bush administration nominees “failed due to scandal.”

Restoring honor and dignity? I don’t think so.

As long as we’re on the subject, though, I think it’s worth noting that the Bush gang, at least so far, can’t hold a candle to Reagan when it comes to scandals, indictments, and resignations.

In all, 32 Reagan administration officials were convicted of crimes in various political scandals under the president’s watch, including Iran-contra, arguably the most serious White House scandal since Watergate that nearly led to Reagan’s impeachment. (Two of the convictions were overturned on appeal and another was pardoned by H.W. Bush)

As Doonesbury’s Garry Trudeau noted two years ago:

* Number of Reagan administration era convictions in the Iran-contra scandal: 14 (two overturned on appeal).

* Number of Reagan officials convicted for illegal lobbying: 2 (Michael Deaver; Lyn Nofziger, overturned on appeal).

* Number of Reagan officials convicted in Housing and Urban Development scandal: 16.

* Total number Reagan era convictions: 32

No president before or since oversaw a White House with so many criminal convictions. In fact, by way of comparison, there have been large organized crime families that have had far fewer convictions that the Reagan administration.

What’s worse, these convictions don’t even begin to include the dozens of other Reagan administration officials who narrowly avoided prosecution, but nevertheless left their positions in disgrace.

Over 30 additional Reagan appointees resigned or were fired following charges of legal or ethical misconduct, including Secretary of Interior James Watt, Secretary of Interior Raymond Donovan, CIA Director William Casey and EPA Administrator Anne Burford. Many dozens more were investigated.

And what our friend, Bill Clinton, who was rumored to lead a scandal-plagued White House? The only Clinton official indicted or convicted, after all of those multi-year, Republican-led investigations, was Asst. Attorney-General Webster Hubbell, who was convicted of embezzlement — a crime he committed before joining the Clinton Administration.

Something to keep in mind.

The Bush and Reagan Crime Syndicate

BUSH FAMILY AND REPUBLICAN CORRUPTION.

George W. Bush

Reaped $14 million from selling his $600,000 stake in a deal that involved the building of a new stadium for the Texas Rangers. George profited handsomely while taxpayers were stiffed for the money to subsidize Bush and his investment partners.

Jeb Bush

Defaulted on a $4,56 million loan from Broward Federal Savings in Sunrise, Florida. After federal regulators closed the S&L, the office building that Jeb used the $4.56 million to finance was reappraised by the regulators to $500,000 which Bush and his partners paid. Taxpayers were socked the remaining $4 million tab.

Neil Bush

Neil was director of Silverado Banking, Savings and Loan in Denver. After the S&L lent Bush and his partners over $200 million in loans for JNB Exploration, Neil's unsuccessful oil company, Neil's partners welshed on $132 million in loans, partly resulting in the failure of the S&L. Federal regulators determined that Neil was completely dependent on his partners for his income. The S&L's failure cost taxpayers $1 billion.

The San Jose Mercury News April 1994

Iran-Contra affair involving Ronald Reagan and v.p. George H.W. Bush

The Iran operations were carried out with the knowledge of, among others, President Ronald Reagan, Vice President George Bush, Secretary of State George P. Shultz, Secretary of Defense Caspar W. Weinberger, Director of Central Intelligence William J. Casey, and national security advisers Robert C. McFarlane and John M. Poindexter; of these officials, only Weinberger and Shultz dissented from the policy decision, and Weinberger eventually acquiesced by ordering the Department of Defense to provide the necessary arms; and large volumes of highly relevant, contemporaneously created documents were systematically and willfully withheld from investigators by several Reagan Administration officials.

Iran/Contra, Independent Counsel, Summary of Report

Ronald Reagan's Cabinet

"By the end of his term, 138 Reagan administration officials had been convicted, had been indicted, or had been the subject of official investigations for official misconduct and/or criminal violations. In terms of number of officials involved, the record of his administration was the worst ever."

*Lyn Nofziger--Convicted on charges of illegal lobbying of White House in Wedtech scandal.

*Michael Deaver received three years' probation and was fined one hundred thousand dollars after being convicted for lying to a congressional subcommittee and a federal grand jury about his lobbying activities after leaving the White House..

*E. Bob Wallach, close friend and law classmate of Atty General Edwin Meese, was sentenced to six years in prison and fined $250,000 in connection with the Wedtech influence-peddling scandal.

Then there was:.

*James Watt, Reagan's Secretary of the Interior was indicted on 41 felony counts for using connections at the Department of Housing and Urban Development to help his private clients seek federal funds for housing projects in Maryland, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Watt conceded that he had received $500,000 from clients who were granted very favorable housing contracts after he had intervened on their behalf. In testifying before a House committee Watt said: "That's what they offered and it sounded like a lot of money to me, and we settled on it." Watt was eventually sentenced to five years in prison and 500 hours of community service.

Two types of problems typified the ethical misconduct cases of the Reagan years, and both had heavy consequences to citizens everywhere. One stemmed from ideology and deregulatory impulses run amok; the other, from classic corruption on a grand scale.

*The Pentagon procurement scandal, which resulted from the Republicans' enormous infusion of money too quickly into the Defense Department after the lean Carter years..

*Massive fraud and mismanagement in the Department of Housing and Urban Development throughout Reagan's eight years. These were finally documented in congressional hearings in spring 1989, after Reagan left office. Cost the taxpayers billions of dollars in losses. What made this scandal most shameful was that Reagan's' friends and fixers profited at the expense of the poor, the very people HUD and the federal government were pledged to assist through low-income housing..

*The Iran-Contra scandal. In June, 1984, at a National Security Council meeting, CIA Director Casey urged President Reagan to seek third-party aid for the Nicaraguan contras. Secretary of State Schultz warned that it would be an "impeachable offense" if the U.S. government acted as conduit for such secret funding. But that didn't stop them. That same day, Oliver North was seeking third-party aid for the contras. But Reagan, the "teflon President" avoided serious charges or impeachment..

*Oliver North--Convicted of falsifying and destroying documents, accepting an illegal gratuity, and aiding and abetting the obstruction of Congress. Conviction overturned on appeal due to legal technicalities..

*John Poindexter, Reagan's national security advisor, --guilty of five criminal counts involving conspiracy to mislead Congress, obstructing congressional inquiries, lying to lawmakers, used "high national security" to mask deceit and wrong-doing..

*Richard Secord pleaded guilty to a felony charge of lying to Congress over Iran-Contra..

*Casper Weinberger was Secretary of Defense during Iran-Contra. In June 1992 he was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of concealing from congressional investigators and prosecutors thousands of pages of his handwritten notes. The personal memoirs taken during high level meetings, detailed events in 1985 and 1986 involving the Iran-Contra affair. Weinberger claimed he was being unfairly prosecuted because he would not provide information incriminating Ronald Reagan. Weinberger was scheduled to go on trial January 5, 1993, where the contents of his notes would have come to light and may have implicated other, unindicted conspirators. While Weinberger was never directly linked to the covert operations phase of the Iran-Contra affair, he is believed to have been involved in the cover-up of the ensuing scandal. According to Special Prosecutor Lawrence Walsh, Weinberger's notes contain evidence of a conspiracy among the highest ranking Reagan Administration officials to lie to congress and the American public. Some of the notes are believed to have evidence against then Vice-President George Bush who pardoned Weinberger to keep him from going to trial..

*Elliott Abrams was appointed by President Reagan in 1985 to head the State Department's Latin American Bureau. He was closely linked with ex-White House aide Lt. Col. Oliver North's covert movement to aid the Contras. Working for North, Abrams coordinated inter-agency support for the contras and helped solicit illegal funding from foreign powers as well as domestic contributors. Abrams agreed to cooperate with Iran-Contra investigators and pled guilty to two charges reduced to misdemeanors. He was sentenced in 1991 to two years probation and 100 hours of community service but was pardoned by President George Bush..

*Robert C. McFarlane was appointed Ronald Reagan's National Security Advisor in October 1983 and become well-known as a champion of the MX missile program in his role as White House liaison to congress. In 1984, Mc Farlane initiated the review of U.S. policy towards Iran that led directly to the arms for hostages deal. He also supervised early National Security Council efforts to support the Contras. Shortly after the Iran-Contra scandal was revealed in early 1987, McFarlane took an overdose of the tranquilizer Valium in an attempt to end his life. In his own words: "What really drove me to despair was a sense of having failed the country." McFarlane pled guilty to four misdemeanors and was sentenced to two years probation and 200 hours of community service. He was also fined $20,000. He received a blanket pardon from President George Bush..

*Alan D. Fiers was the Chief of the Central Intelligence Agency's Central American Task Force. Fiers pled guilty in 1991 to two counts of withholding information from congress about Oliver North's activities and the diversion of Iran arms sale money to aid the Contras. He was sentenced to one year of probation and 100 hours of community service. Fiers agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in exchange for having his felonies reduced to misdemeanors and his testimony gave a boost to the long standing criminal investigation of Lawrence Walsh, Special Prosecutor. Fiers testified that he and three CIA colleagues knew by mid-1986 that profits from the TOW and HAWK missile sales to Iran were being diverted to the Contras months before it became public knowledge. Alan Fiers received a blanket pardon for his crimes from President Bush..

*Clair George was Chief of the CIA's Division of Covert Operations under President Reagan. In August 1992 a hung jury led U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth to declare a mistrial in the case of Clair George who was accused of concealing from Congress his knowledge of the Iran-Contra affair. George had been named by Alan Fiers when Fiers turned state's evidence for Lawrence Walsh's investigation. In a second trial on charges of perjury, false statements and obstruction of justice, George was convicted of lying to two congressional committees in 1986. George faced a maximum five year federal prison sentence and a $20,000 fine for each of the two convictions. Jurors cleared George of five other charges including two counts of lying to a federal grand jury. Those charges would have carried a mandatory 10 months in prison upon conviction. Clair George received a blanket pardon for his crimes from President George Bush..

*Duane R. (Dewey) Clarridge was head of the CIA's Western European Division under President Reagan. He was indicted on November 29, 1991 for lying to congress and to the Tower Commission that investigated Iran- Contra. Clarridge was charged with five counts of perjury and two counts of making false statements for covering up his knowledge of a November 25, 1985 shipment of HAWK missiles to Iran. Clarridge was also suspected of diverting to the Contras weapons that were originally intended for the Afghan mujahaddeen guerrillas. Clarridge received a blanket pardon for his crimes on Christmas Eve 1992 from President George Bush..

*Environmental Protection Agency's favoritism toward polluters. Assistant administrator unduly influenced by chemical industry lobbyists. Another administrator resigned after pressuring employees to tone down a critical report on a chemical company accused of illegal pollution in Michigan. The deputy chief of federal activities was accused of compiling an interagency "hit" or "enemies" list, like those kept in the Nixon Watergate period, singling out career employees to be hired, fired or promoted according to political beliefs..

*Anne Gorscuh Burford resigned amid accusations she politically manipulated the Superfund money..

*Rita Lavelle was fired after accusing a senior EPA official of "systematically alienating the business community." She was later indicted, tried and convicted of lying to Congress and served three months of a six-month prison sentence. After an extensive investigation, in August 1984, a House of Representatives subcommittee concluded that top-level EPA appointees by Reagan for three years "violated their public trust by disregarding the public health and the environment, manipulating the Superfund program for political purposes, engaging in unethical conduct and participating in other abuses.".

*Neglected nuclear safety. A critical situation involving nuclear safety had been allowed to develop during the Reagan era. Immense sums, estimated at 200 billion or more, would be required in the 1990s to replace and make safe America's neglected, aging, deteriorating, and dangerous nuclear facilities..

*Savings & Loan Bail-out. Hundreds of billions of dollars were needed to bail out savings and loan institutions that either had failed during the deregulation frenzy of the eighties or were in danger of bankruptcy..

*Reckless airline deregulation. Deregulation of airline industry took too broad a sweep, endangering public safety.

Additionally:

*Richard Allen, National Security adviser resigned amid controversy over an honorarium he received for arranging an interview with Nancy Reagan..

*Richard Beggs, chief administrator at NASA was indicted for defrauding the government while an executive at General Dynamics..

*Guy Flake, Deputy Secretary of Commerce, resigned after allegations of a conflict of interest in contract negotiations..

*Louis Glutfrida, Director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency resigned amid allegations of misuses of government property..

*Edwin Gray, Chairman of the Federal Home Loan Bank was charged with illegally repaying himself and his wife $26,000 in travel costs..

*Max Hugel, CIA chief of covert operations who resigned after allegations of fraudulent financial dealings..

*Carlos Campbell, Assistant Secretary of Commerce resigned over charges of awarding federal grants to his personal friends' firms..

*Raymond Donovan, Secretary of Labor indicted for defrauding the New York City Transit Authority of $7.4. million..

*John Fedders, chief of enforcement for the Securities and Exchange Commission resigned over charges of beating his wife..

*Arthur Hayes, Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration resigned over illegal travel reimbursements..

*J. Lynn Helms, chief of the Federal Aviation Administration resigned over a grand jury investigation of illegal business activities..

*Marjory Mecklenburg, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Resources resigned over irregularities on her travel vouchers..

*Robert Nimmo, head of the Veterans Administration resigned when a report criticized him for improper use of government funds..

*J. William Petro, U.S. Attorney fired and fined for tipping off an acquaintance about a forthcoming Grand Jury investigation..

*Thomas C. Reed, White House counselor and National Security Council adviser resigned and paid a $427,000 fine for stock market insider trading..

*Emanuel Savas, Assistant Secretary of HUD resigned over assigning staff members to work on government time on a book that guilty to expense account fraud and accepting kickbacks on government contracts..

*Charles Wick, Director of the U.S. Information Agency investigated for taping conversations with public officials without their approval. And they accuse Bill Clinton and Al Gore of being corrupt and unethical!

This country was losing 750,000 jobs PER MONTH the last few months of the reign of error of Bush. Our economy COLLAPSED under the guiding hand of Chimpy. And Bush obliterated Clinton's budget surplus faster than you can say,: Is our Children learning."

So you can post as many graphs as you like....but the facts will still remain as I stated them. There is no reclamation project on the sorry presidency of GWB.

Everyone in this country has nostalgia for the booming Clinton years.

I love it when lowlifes like this try to reinvent our recent past and challenge cold hard economic data.

From the totally nonpartisan Bloomberg News.

iF A DEMOCRAT SQUANDERED A $127 BILLION surplus, the repukes would talk about it night and day for decades.

OP Good post on the Clintoris record. Not that I'm any kind of old timer here but hopefully you'll stick around.

Bill Clinton remains the most popular living american in the world. His status as a rock star wherever he goes ...remains....and pisses the lowly right wingers off in unimaginable ways.

And many on that list were lies that had been debunked time and time again.

There is no doubt if Bill could run in 2012 he'd win in a landslide....which also pisses off the idiots.

Another dope who has no idea of Bill's immense popularity in this country and abroad.

Popularity is a media driven component as is consensus. Having either doesn't mean the person or idea is correct or proven.

Most people have not one clue about Clintoris' real history and if they were barraged by the media as much as they do a non-left politician, candidate, idea then the great unknowing would believe different.

Media driven peer pressure is all the left has and too bad the non-left lets them have it. If the media was truly centrist then the neo-liebralsim that is so rabbid and rampant today would only exists in a marxist's Algorebal dream.

And many on that list were lies that had been debunked time and time again.

Go ahead, offer a specific example of one topic on that list that was "debunked". And provide the facts or a link to whatever you think debunked it. Don't hide behind vagueness because that only makes you look foolish.

As I said, I'm more than willing to debate any one of those topics with the likes of you. But debate implies you presents facts and present facts ... and may the best facts win.

For example, would you like to discuss Chinagate and CampaignFinancegate? Those are major scandals that I doubt PBS will properly cover. How about we discuss the Cox Report or the LaBella memo? Or Riadygate and what it showed?

Then we can discuss how what Clinton did in those two scandals is what now has us being militarily challenged by the Communist Chinese. Or we could discuss the death of Ron Brown next, since his death appears linked to the two scandals.

Or perhaps you'd be more willing to discuss the death of Vince Foster and the coverup that clearly followed? Would you be willing to discuss even one specific aspect of the allegations? Say, the so-called "suicide note"?

Or we can debate Filegate if you're willing? How about it? Shall we discuss who hired Craig Livingstone? And where the FBI files actually were after Ken Starr claimed they'd been returned to the FBI? And what Clinton's staff was busy doing with those files?

Let's talk about what Jerome M. Zeifman had to say about Clinton. Recall that he was a lifelong Democrat and Chief Counsel of the House Judiciary Committee at the time of Nixon's impeachment inquiry (he played a key role in drafting the Articles of Impeachment against Nixon). You wouldn't disagree with his views about Bill Clinton, now would you? Or how about we discuss David Schippers views, another lifelong Democrat … one who even voted for Bill Clinton twice? You want to claim that what he has said was debunked?

Or maybe you'd prefer to discuss the DOZENS of rape and sexual assault allegations? Is that a topic that PBS is going to accurately cover? I rather doubt it, but you and I could discuss it. You think it's all been debunked then let's start with Broaddrick.

Just pick a topic. Don't be shy. Let's get down to details and see who really is puffing smoke here. :)

Look at the hot-dip-schit-fits you liebrals have over one cable news channel. And yes it's news that the liebral can't separate commentary from news shows how inept the liebral brain is..

PBS is one of the most accurate purveyors of news in the world and many people's only source of news BY CHOICE.

The world does not consider Fox News a legitimate news source. Anyone above a 5th grade education can point out their huge bias after watching any show after 3 minutes.

"Measured objectively."

Translated into honest English:

They're full of crap.

Yes, yes, liberal Democrats were enraged that Reagan fought our enemies and won the Cold War, while they fought against him, and frequently on behalf of our enemies, as they did on behalf of the Communist Sandinistas.

Former Dem presidential candidate, Senator Tom Harkin and Rep. John Bonior all flew to Nicaragua to offer aid and comfort to our literal enemies; to protect them against Reagan's efforts to neutralize or topple them.

Liberal Dems bitterly fought against almost every single policy Reagan wanted and needed to win the Cold War, so in bitter recrimination, they indicted many of his aides on weak, spurious or outright false charges.

While covering up their own felonies.

Wingnut Nation considers any news organization that actually prints the truth as having a "liebral perspective."

You need to be bold faced liars like Fox so idiots like 3 lefts can stand up and cheer.

I love it that cons are still having a hard time with Bill Clinton and his enormous popularity here and abroad.

You do realize that popularity is about the equivalent to mob-mentality, correct? It's usually pretty stupid and has little basis for any real substance. Many of the most popular, beloved people in this century have been some of the sorriest pieces of scum to ever exist.

first you say PBS WILL whitewash , now it is the question is .

Would you like to discuss the death of Vince Foster? Because the PBS website description of tonight's program (all the links at http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexperience/features/introduction/clinton/ ) only calls it a suicide and gives no indication there was a controversy.

Nor is there any mention of any of the other scandals I listed, other than the Lewinsky scandal, and I really doubt they will mention the complaints about Ken Starr sabotaging his own investigation by telling Bill about the blue dress before questioning him.

No, what PBS has tried to do is the same thing the media did throughout the Clinton years ... give the public the idea that Clinton's transgressions were just about sex with an intern.

Go ahead ... go to their website and point out to me where anything is said about Chinagate? CampaignFinancegate? Or Filegate? Emailgate?

Go to the timeline of his presidency on that website (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexperience/features/timeline/clinton/) or the description of his legacy (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexperience/features/general-article/clinton-legacy/ ).

You will find no mention of those important topics. No mention of the Juanita Broaddrick allegation. No mention of the death of Ron Brown and the allegations surrounding his death (connected to Chinagate and CampaignFinancegate).

Would you care to discuss them? I would love to discuss them. Shall we talk about what the military pathologists said? Shall we talk about what Clinton's administration did to those military pathologists? I bet that's not mentioned in the show tonight.

Or how about we talk about what David Schippers, the House Manager during the impeachment, said about the Clinton Presidency? I bet that's one person PBS failed to interview for their whitewash. ;)

- his sexual assaults (including the rape of Juanita Broaddrick)

- sexual harassment (of many women, including Monica)

- Monicagate (how Ken Starr used this scandal to help Clinton escape justice)

- the incriminating circumstances in Vince Foster's death (murder)

- the incriminating circumstances in Ron Brown's death (murder)

- Travelgate

- Pardongate

- perjury (actually, he lied to virtually everyone he could possibly lie to)

- obstruction of justice (too many examples to list)

- blackmail

- intimidation of witnesses

- evidence tampering

- witness tampering

- bribery

- abuse of the IRS

- abuse of the military

- abuse of the FBI

- abuse of the DOJ

- violation of drug laws

- national security violations

- his role in the collapse of the mortgage market

- his role in 9/11 occuring

- who really was responsible for balancing the budget in the 90s

- who really was responsible for the economic boom in the 90s

And I would happy to discuss ANY of those topics on this thread. :)

When you get finished sucking off your father post links to all your false charges. Even post propaganda from Faux News.

After you have wiped the sperm from your chin explain Clinton's policies, such as a balanced budget, more pay for cops and smaller government and explain who those are liberal.

After you did that you can go back to blowing your brother.

Don't think about the cancer cells growing inside you. The cancer cells in your mind are pink elephants on roller skates. You can try but you can't remove that image from your brain. On every level it is bringing you one step closer to an agonizing death. The only way you can stop it now is by admitting you are a liar and a child molester.

You suffering will increase with your lies.

. Many of the most popular, beloved people in this century have been some of the sorriest pieces of scum to ever exist.

Like a short time period after 9/11 with George Bush?

No one cares about the hard on the GOP had for Bill Clinton 20 years ago. It has been proven that the right wing was dedicated from day one to destroy the Clinton's and followed suit the same way with Obama.

You idiots spent millions on a cum stain....Talk about having your heads up your ass.....and you still couldn't bring him down because he was most of all an extremely effective president AND beloved.

Sorry you haven't had one of those in quite some time.

Would you like to discuss the death of Vince Foster?

Nothing but right wing propaganda and there was absolutely no evidence to suggest the Clintons had anything to do with it...or your sc-um bag media would have done something with it.

It fell flat like most of your other bullsh-it claims about him. You tried to mightily to bring him down AND YOU FAILED, BADLY He served out his 2 terms and.....

Just accept it that Clinton is still immensely popular and beloved in this country. Sit down and listen to any of his interviews and marvel at the intelligence and command of facts this man has.

And then there's Shrub....your boy. ROFLMAO.

Bill Clinton remains the most popular living american in the world. His status as a rock star wherever he goes ...remains....and pisses the lowly right wingers off in unimaginable ways.

Well, you can't really blame them. They have been eagerly whoring for their masters, lying, smearing, spreading rumours and false stories for almost twenty years trying to destroy his reputation - AND EVERYONE IS IGNORING THEM.

Poor babies!

Even on a lighter note, Clinton was a virtually impotent president that rode the gravy train into history--proving popularity doesn't require any real work to achieve. Why people think of him as some great paragon is beyond me. The House did all the work during his second term, for whatever reasons better or worse, the presiding president always takes credit regardless of what he did or didn't do. This is true with all presidents and one of the reasons they should be removed from domestic issues entirely solving a lot of our confusions and problems in the process. That way blame can properly fall to the real representatives.

I don't need to point out any other allegations than that I'm afraid.

Secondly, I'm not a Republican nor am I "right-wing", you can take that tripe and shove it where the sun most certainly don't shine. I haven't really liked any president in the last hundred years or so. I think they're all shills or sellouts that talked a big talk but never really accomplished anything more than kicking a ticking time-bomb down the road for future generations to combat over. Each ironically trying to figure out how to detonate it faster rather than defuse it. JFK might have been the only exception to this and look at what happened to him, his wife was holding his brain matter in her hands.

People like you need to spend more time in the past and contemplating the future. You're too caught up in the now playing this ridiculous, idiotic "popularity" game that lacks any sense or logic to it. In other words, you need to grow up. That's the crap we did in junior high--we're adults now, sorry to break it to you. With that comes responsibility and painful truths that you must come to accept.

I know, that's asking too much of you isn't it?

And his popularity STILL has INCREASED. How funny is that?

Another huge slapdown of conservative's motivations.

We understand that you're as dumb as a rock.
