lOlOlEsquire posted a topic in No Holds Barred Political ForumHe's got terrific foreign policy experience and knowledge. He's got terrific general experience, been a Senator, VP and he's well regarded in DC. He has an interesting story. Lost his wife and young daughter to a car crash as a young father and husband. Lost his son Beau a few years ago. He's been through tough times. Most of all, I think he can connect with Rust Belt voters with his Scranton background. He's viewed as a centrist, but I see him as a progressive who may be more inclined to push left because the world needs a left America. We need to be green, innovative, believing in science and pragmatism. And sure, he's prone to gaffes, but come on, Trump has blown up that train. Trump has a dozen gaffes a day. Biden's biggest gaffes aren't even a Monday afternoon story for Trump. Most of all, he can beat Trump. He can win PA, OH, WI and MI. He'll be able to punch back on Trump the way Hillary never could because of the appearance of it. Thoughts?
It's the 21st century and we still have virtually no rights for a huge portion of society! Research has showed no significant difference between the judgment of youth and adults, yet they are still controlled by the old and have none of the rights everyone takes for granted. Teenagers are treated like second-class citizens, and that treatment just reinforces the stereotypes. Join the movement! I'm open to debate below. Here's some research gathered by the National Youth Rights Association. http://www.youthrights.org/research/ Here's a video of one young person explaining the issues very well. This research tried to prove minors are incapable. Instead it showed that half of 8th graders are more mature and dependable decision makers than the average adult. http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/bsl.416/pdf About the differences in brain anatomy throughout growth. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16492261 The research of decisions and brains of adolescents vs. adults show similar differences as those between men and women. The anti gun lobby has become way too powerful in this country. Our lawmakers need to grow a backbone and stop being pushed around by special interest groups, Why is there a problem with extended background checks, we don't need military weapons in the streets killing children either. The politicians are not going to do anything about gun violence so it is up to the people. takegunsoffstreets.com
