The New Left was a broad political movement mainly in the 1960s and 1970s consisting of educators, agitators and others who sought to implement a broad range of reforms on issues such as civil rights, gay rights, abortion, gender roles, and drugs,The New Left of the 1960s is basically made up today of The same type of people with the same issues just 50 or so years later....What you saw in in the 1960s your seeing today played out in the Streets and elsewhere....Middle class white,Black Asian and other minority students and non students,College professors etc....Same crowd as the 1960s...Many of the college professors are former radical students from the 1960s and 70s...And most of those who support these radicals are former radicals from the 1960s and 70s....The Black panther movement of the 60s is replaced today with the Black Lives matter movement....Socialist students and non students of all races and Black power students and non students long with there former 1960s radical activist sypathizers.
It's the 21st century and we still have virtually no rights for a huge portion of society! Research has showed no significant difference between the judgment of youth and adults, yet they are still controlled by the old and have none of the rights everyone takes for granted. Teenagers are treated like second-class citizens, and that treatment just reinforces the stereotypes. Join the movement! I'm open to debate below. Here's some research gathered by the National Youth Rights Association. http://www.youthrights.org/research/ Here's a video of one young person explaining the issues very well. This research tried to prove minors are incapable. Instead it showed that half of 8th graders are more mature and dependable decision makers than the average adult. http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/bsl.416/pdf About the differences in brain anatomy throughout growth. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16492261 The research of decisions and brains of adolescents vs. adults show similar differences as those between men and women. I've met a lot of people with different opinion on this problem (which became a real disaster lately), so I'd like to know yours: Do you think that civils need to bear hand guns or other weapon, if they don't belong to some military or police departments and they're not professional hunters? In my personal view we have to ban the 2nd amendment in all states. It was found in the early beginning of our nation, when there was a real need to protect your territory (like in the savage world). But now the justice has to be regulated by different governmental structures
