  1. Trump never directed his hypocrisy at me. He only trash-talks other big shots. It's like pro-wrestling. Pelosi, Fauci, and the others seem to only attack me, never their own kind. Not a fair fight.
  2. Why didn't we fire George Bush? The Iraq war cost trillions of dollars and millions of lives. It was based on the lie about WMDs. I think the OP's point is that talking about Stormy Daniels is like letting George Bush off the hook.
  3. I've never heard a liberal describe slogans like "The war to end all wars" or "Make the world safe for democracy" as dangerous rhetoric. I guess it's true that silence is violence.
  4. I think medical care should be outlawed. Americans already have the worst obesity and don't need to be drugged up any more than they already are.
  5. Did you try to destroy the US by denigrating the election system when Russia disrupted it?
  6. Alex Jones is the one who said Iraq didn't have WMDs. There was no proof, but the war waged on regardless. Maybe that's why Trump, who failed to start a war, is also failing to have his voter fraud cases move forward despite a voting system that requires no ID, no signature, and no postmark.
  7. Liberals get excited about this because they do not realize that this is what leads to Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders.
  8. Aren't liberals support to be advocates of the poor? It's always very amusing to see them bending over backwards to justify giving more voting control to wealthy urban people like themselves.
  9. CNN was a big part of the WMDs lie that caused the Iraq war. Liberals defend CNN and other corporate media against alternative media because liberals believe CNN is generally on their side. CNN also electioneered for Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders, and later for Kamala Harris over Tulsi Gabbard. CNN rose to infamy in 1990 when they were caught on tape staging a Gulf War segment. It doesn't matter how much they lie. They're funded by drug companies and defense contractors, same as the Democrat Party.
  10. Were you okay with Bush and Obama's wars? Every politician commits tons of crimes. What's remarkable about Trump are the few times when he doesn't do what every other politician has done.
  11. I guess it's still legal to make fun of people for being poor?
  12. The homeless are a frequent target for scientific experiments.
  13. I agree with you that Cook is a fraud, and that most scientists don't agree with global warming, or at least don't have an opinion on it, and certainly not the alarmist opinion that New York City was killed by a tidal wave in 2008 like the head of NASA claims. That's the real misrepresentation by Cook. But what I'm saying is that this isn't relevant or persuasive, to anyone. Unfortunately, individual scientists simply don't matter, because they don't have a voice. They are employed by large organizations where they do compartmentalized work, and can be fired easily. These large organizations speak on their behalf. Exposing Cook doesn't clarify this situation, and you should notice you're up against a brick wall with people in this thread. They will defend Cook the way people defend something as objectively untrue as the "fine people hoax", because directionally they still feel that Cook was right, experts and consensus and whatnot. Tell me, what sort of "study" could possibly exist that "debunks" "global warming"? It's not 97%. It's 100%. The whole thing is a rhetorical game. Don't feed the trolls. Do 97% of Democrat party members believe the party line that white males are evil? Obviously they do or they wouldn't be in the party. This is too easy.
  14. Liberals are very quick to entrust away authority, as if by magic knowing that teachers as a class will be more liberal than parents as a class. It seems true, but as individuals, even liberal parents do not trust liberal teachers more than liberal parents trust themselves. There's always going to be a distortion. What if teachers are Kamala Harris liberals, not Bernie Sanders liberals? Will they teach children social justice, instead of economic justice? After all, teachers are a heavily pandered voting bloc. This thread has become a perfect example of why teachers should uniformly avoid other subjects. We all think we know the holocaust happened. But it turns out we don't know as much about it as we think we do. It's just a default position we were all ingrained with (by teachers). Holocaust deniers on the other hand do know a lot about it, rightly or wrongly. They had to actively make the choice to look into it. As a consequence, they easily expose our foolishness. We tout eye witnesses accounts, triumphant and oblivious to the fact that eye witness accounts are the foundation of holocaust denial. Citing "mountains of evidence" of atrocity propaganda long debunked albeit quietly. If a space alien came down to earth and read this thread, zwe would conclude without a doubt that the holocaust was a massive hoax. Overzealousness is not a good look.
  15. Not a good tack. Face it. Experts are against us. You're quibbling over numbers. Let me tell you a little story. The reason it was easy for me to see global warming as a hoax was because I had been reading a lot about nutrition science, and anyone not familiar with nutrition science would never believe how derelict it is. We all know you can go to the book store and see 20 different diet books each backed by their own set of facts. But it probably doesn't dawn on us that it's the experts who are to blame. Surely it's just a bunch of celebrities hoping to create the next big trend, right? Well it's not. Scientists have always been the real propaganda mouthpieces, peddling respectability. Every horrible corporate idea from margarine to psychiatric drugs comes to us through scientists. I think the way to open up people to the idea of a massive scientific fraud to find that one issue, usually a health problem, where the person experience personal frustration until they did their own research. What you need is a good story about why the experts are always wrong, not a mealy-mouthed retort about your experts being better than their experts, because the big money will always be on the side in favor of the scam.
  16. If you were surprised that most people on a political forum seem to have college degrees, then I suspect you are not nearly as well-versed in this topic as you claim. Underestimating the wisdom of the internet is a tell for your political leanings, as is rejecting a scientific attempt to categorize things. I do not have nearly as much trouble as you in meaningfully distinguishing types. It is usually clear from context what is meant by liberal or conservative, and miss-applications are irrelevant. This is analogous to race denial. People who believe race is a social construct will often argue that there are more differences within the races than between the races, therefore race isn't meaningful. But it is. Just because you can sit on a rock doesn't mean there's no such thing as a chair. It is the essential differences we attempt to describe, with varying degrees of success.
  17. We don't have trouble acknowledging that men commit more violent crime than women, so why do we have trouble when it comes to race? Men have more testosterone than women. Blacks have more than whites, proportionate to violent crime. It's perfectly reasonable to look at biological reality. Otherwise how do we explain West Virginia having more poverty and less crime? You create the impression that crime in Chicago is somewhat happenstance, a cultural manifestation from bootlegging days. That's a good explanation, but it can't be the dominant one because it doesn't apply to any of the other chocolate cities for which Chicago is usually just a stand-in. Most people wouldn't seriously contend that a legacy of slavery from 1800 is the cause of crime in 2000. That sounds patronizing, and silly when applied to Africa. I think people like to imagine that nurture has more of an influence than cruel mother nature, but deep down we know it's wishful thinking. But the reason your post caught my eye is not because of technical disagreement. It's because of your description of society's controllers having a lack of desire to fix things. This is very apologetic toward the status quo which I think is endemic on the left. There's a lot packed in that one sentence, for instance the conformist presumption that we all agree on how to progress. Not that I choose my own words so carefully, I just have such a radically different view. Rich people are literally meeting together in smoke filled back rooms to conspire against us, and instead of denying responsibility for crime, we would be better off embracing it as justified. Unfortunately BLM and others are very good at steering it against all the wrong targets. Look at calls for gun control, never aimed at celebrities with bodyguards, executives with private home security, or politicians who wield the military. Instead we're pleading with those very people to do more??? It's indescribably servile.
  18. People always say Trump is a tyrant/fascist/autocrat/totalitarian/etc... But isn't coronavirus the crisis every politician dreams of? The opportunity of a lifetime to seize limitless power? Trump is the most disciplined leader in the world right now, showing considerable restraint.
  19. A few years back, Amazon, the largest and most powerful institution the world has ever known, bought The Washington Post newspaper. Washington Post obviously no longer runs negative stories about Amazon. What a great opportunity for the New York Times to seize the crown as the world's premier newspaper, still free to report on anything. And yet they don't. Washington Post and New York Times share a political agenda, which involves protecting Amazon, whether Amazon is their defacto owner or not. Both newspapers actually run at a loss. Amazon didn't buy one to make money. They bought one to funnel money into politics. Some Mexican billionaire bought the other. Neither had to sit down and have a meeting between their employees and their new owners. They all already knew what to do. Alex Jones of Infowars, known for blowing the cover on the NYT and WP hoax about WMDs in Iraq, was deplatformed by the colluders years later in 2016 when the Hillary Clinton machine determined he was effective in swinging the election. Again, perfect opportunity for Youtube competitors Vimeo and DailyMotion to take up the mantle. No dice. A few short years later we would all see what happened to BitChute as punishment for them breaking the cartel. Google, that fascist merger of corporate profit with state DARPA funding, has apparently succeeded in keeping Tulsi Gabbard out of office and bringing Kamala Harris into office. As part of the military industrial complex, their immediate agenda will likely be to resume the war against Syria, and resurrect the draconian intellectual property harmonization of the TPP trade deal. Google appears to be a friend of the Left. They fund all the right people, and they fire all the right people. They fired James Damore for his political opinions. Every fortune 500 multinational corporation has fired employees for social media posts. Did you know that in all 50 states you can be fired for your political views, whereas you cannot be fired in a single one of those 50 states for souring a business deal with Asians by crossdressing? It's true. There is no worker's bill of rights. This should scare every working person in America. Eventually it may even scare liberals. Sooner or later liberals will find themselves on the wrong side of history. Do you support everything on the agenda? Have you noticed an increase in ideological purity tests, an increase in the rigidity and sanctimoniousness of your party, or does Google not allow you to see it? Maybe Russia will.
  20. It was the New York Times who made up the lie about WMDs to cause the Iraq war. Tell me you wouldn't like to abort the New York Times.
  21. I was a member of DailyKos since 2009, until I posted the following: Mid-morning on a Saturday, my post was deleted and my account banned outright within 1 minute. Time to look for new forums anyway. That's how I ended up here. A couple others I came across have registration closed until after the election. Feels like being locked out of society. Any comments on my post? On my situation? How do you deal with people who don't want to listen? Isn't it frustrating? Discuss:
