  1. He should take a trip to an American grocery store and look at the high prices or he should take a trip to a middle class worker's house and see the lower paychecks. It probably will be for better. Please, get me right, I'm not saying the GOP clown car is any better but the facts show Obama is bad for the middle class. But I'm sure, with the Republican Senate we won't also see any changes.
  2. Military doctors could reduce suicides among soldiers with psychiatric conditions by using a new screening system that flags those at highest risk of taking their own lives, a new study suggests. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/11/13/health/new-prediction-model-could-reduce-military-suicides-study-finds.html?_r=0 To shift the responsibility to the computer program. Great decision!
  3. The arrest of a man who videoed police officers violently serving an arrest warrant across the street from his home indicates Americans no longer are masters of their own country, contends a leading constitutional lawyer. http://www.wnd.com/2014/11/man-tells-cops-hes-uploading-video-of-them-gets-arrested/ This is the police state our founders warned of. We can't trust them, they can't protect us. Help, it's the police!
  4. The only thing Republicans can change- immigration reform. More immigration executive actions may follow. But I'm not sure, these changes will be for better.
  5. If you live in Minnesota, your high-school daughter might soon be showering next to a male after athletic practice if a “transgender” policy being considered by the Minnesota State High School League is approved next month. http://www.wnd.com/2014/11/schools-propose-let-boys-into-girls-locker-rooms/ When it comes to children, we have an even greater duty to protect and ensure their safety.
  6. Fresh off the heels of a successful ballot measure to expand background checks in Washington state, the anti-gun violence coalition is eyeing Nevada as the next battleground in its fight for popular restrictions on guns. The approach is part of a broader strategy to let voters determine the fate of what advocates say are common-sense gun laws. Nevadans for Background Checks will deliver signatures on Wednesday in support of placing an initiative on the November 2016 ballot that would require background checks on all gun sales and transfers, including at gun shows and online. Washington voters overwhelmingly passed a similar state measure last week, handing gun control advocates their first landmark victory in a new strategy that seeks to bypass congressional gridlock. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/11/11/gun-control-midterms_n_6142106.html Gun violence has claimed more than 4,350 lives since January 1st (and killed or injured 475 children), a fact that is as mundane as it is grim. This problem should be solved. And the sooner the better.
  7. At least 20,040 American soldiers had been wounded in the 13-year-old Afghanistan war theater as of November 10, according to a Pentagon tally. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2014/11/11/Over-20k-Soldiers-Wounded-in-Afghan-War-Theater Nearly 90 percent (17,339) of the wounded troops received their injuries after Obama was inaugurated for his first term on January 20, 2009. Actually, Obama never wanted our troops to win. That was not and is not his intention.
  8. A black teacher in a suburb of Dallas, Texas, is out of a job after suggesting whites should “kill themselves” in a profanity-laced tweet directed at “dumb crackers” critical of her support of the racially charged protests in Ferguson, Missouri. http://www.wnd.com/2014/11/black-teacher-tells-whites-to-kill-themselves/ Typical liberal mentality. I have nothing to add.
  9. Republican leaders have warned President Barack Obama that pursuing more executive actions after last week's midterm drubbing would be like playing with fire. But Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.), co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, said on Monday that unilateral action by the president on economic issues is more necessary than ever. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/11/10/progressive-dems-obama-executive-actions_n_6134290.html Voters have not fallen in love with Republicans. A win is a win is a win. Still, Republicans will be making a mistake if they interpret this election as an endorsement of the Republican agenda.
  10. It would not surprise me if they decide to go back to the old rules requiring 60 votes for judicial nominations and remove it from simple majority vote. And I'm serious.
  11. Slowing economic growth, decreasing fertility rate, falling behind in education relative to the world, politicians can't seem to look past party lines, heightened use of hard drugs amongst teens, burgeoning national debt, etc. Are these signs that the US of the future is in trouble? Our youth is losing hope for the future. And I can understand them.
  12. The United States of America is not, in fact, a true democracy. In a democracy, the people are the government. Today, we elect people to run the government for us. The people we elect do not, for the most part, run the country in the interest of the people; they run it in the interest of themselves. We are led to believe that we must put our trust in these people. We, the People, do not have the power to create laws in our interest. This causes an imbalance of power in the government. Am I right?
  13. Abortion should absolutely be banned in all states, because killing a baby inside the womb is the same as killing a baby outside the womb. The gift of life is a miracle in itself, and should be cherished. More importantly, however, is that the whole medical profession is built on the notion of saving life’s at all costs, yet here you are trying to destroy lives.
  14. It’s been to the U.S. Supreme Court twice already, winning once and losing once, and several other cases are moving that direction, one claiming Obamacare is unconstitutional since it was a tax bill that started in the U.S. Senate and another that it is illegal because President Obama has made virtually dozens of arbitrary changes to the law without the consent of Congress. Should it survive all of those claims, a new petition is being submitted to the U.S. Supreme Court asking for a review alleging the law violates the Fourth, Fifth and Ninth amendment provisions on privacy. http://www.wnd.com/2014/11/feds-sued-for-obamacares-privacy-rights-violation/ To be honest, I think, Obama still has his corrupt friends in the Supreme Court that he appointed and they'll continue to push Obama's agendas every time.
  15. The Transportation Security Administration has discovered 1,855 firearms in carry-on bags so far in 2014, the Department of Homeland Security has announced. And that's a new record. Of the 1,855 firearms found in baggage in the first 10 months of this year, 1,471 were loaded, the agency reported Wednesday. In the same period, a grand total of 3,048 firearm components, replica firearmw, stun guns, and other dangerous objects were found in passenger carry-ons by the TSA. Last week alone, the TSA found 41 firearms (34 of which were loaded), in addition to 16 stun guns, four replica grenades, a 13-inch cane sword, and a box-cutter found concealed in the lining of a carry-on bag. http://abcnews.go.com/Lifestyle/record-number-fliers-havent-guns-memo/story?id=26735228 We can designate an island, we could even name it Island of the Idiots, and when someone is caught with a gun in their bag, we send them there. Forever.
