Sharpton: Biden's Absence at Essence Fest Could've 'Disenchanted' Black Dems

Biden rejects Trump's bid to keep White House material from Jan 6 panel (msn.com)

    (Full article at above link)

President Biden has rejected former President Trump's assertion of executive privilege to deny White House documents requested by January 6 select committee.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Friday that Mr. Biden "believes it to be the utmost importance for the American people to have a complete understanding of the events of that day to prevent them from happening again."

The House January 6 select committee requested the documents from the National Archives in August, including all "documents and communications relating in any way to remarks made by Donald Trump or any other persons on January 6."

Attorneys representing Mr. Trump had asked that the documents be withheld from the committee under the assertion of privilege, arguing that documents and communications related to a sitting president should be shielded from public oversight.

But citing what it described as these "unique and extraordinary circumstances," the White House said, "Congress has a compelling need...to understand the circumstances that led to these horrific events."

"The Documents shed light on events within the White House on and about January 6 and bear on the Select Committee's need to understand the facts."

"The Radical Left Democrats tried the RUSSIA Witch Hunt, they tried the fake impeachments, and now they are trying once again to use Congress to persecute their political opponents," Mr. Trump said. "The Democrats are drunk on power, but this dangerous assault on our Constitution and important legal precedent will not work."

Then GOVERNMENT needs to STOP PAYING THEM TO SIT ON THEIR ASSES!!!

As in CUT OFF THE UNEMPLOYMENT, WELFARE, FOOD STAMPS, or ANY OTHER PAYMENT on the FIRST INSTANCE THEY REFUSE TO LOOK FOR WORK OR ACCEPT A JOB IF OFFERED!!!

    PERIOD

EMPLOYERS should report 100% of those cases too.

THEN you will see that the LABOR MARKET stabilizes and the WAGES get to a NORMAL "what the job is worth? AMOUNT AS WELL!!

If that happens,  there will be dire consequences. Go to sleep Toss and turn on it.

It seems like only yesterday when cons were arguing against minimum wage. Today, businesses are closing due to lack of workers. The Great Reassessment has come. The exploitation of labor ends NOW.

America’s unemployed are sending a message: They’ll go back to work when they feel safe – and well-compensated (msn.com)

    (Full article at above link)

The anemic September employment report, with only 194,000 jobs added, illustrates something deeper: America’s unemployed are still struggling with child-care and health issues, and they are reluctant to return to jobs they see as unsafe and undercompensated.

For months, economists predicted a surge in hiring in September as unemployment benefits expired for millions of workers and schools reopened across the country. Instead, last month marked the weakest hiring this year. The September jobs report offered fresh evidence contradicting Republicans who have said that generous unemployment aid has been keeping people away from the workforce. Millions of people lost all aid or had it significantly scaled back at the start of September. But there was not an immediate wave of workers returning to jobs. The United States has roughly 11 million job openings and 7.7 million unemployed signals one thing: Pay up!

Workers, especially low-wage workers, are revolting against years of poor pay and stressful conditions. It remains unclear how the Great Reassessment of work will play out going forward.

New Hampshire woman accused of telling Black child she would 'kneel on his neck' (msn.com)

    (Full article at above link)

Charges have been filed against a New Hampshire woman after she allegedly told a Black child she would "kneel on his neck."

The New Hampshire attorney general's office announced Thursday that the complaint was filed against Kristina Graper, 51.

The complaint alleges Graper's son was playing with a nine-year-old Black child on May 10 at a neighborhood park in Dover. When the two were playing, the Black child accidentally broke Graper's son's toy, the attorney general's office said.

Graper then allegedly told the Black child that she would "kneel on his neck" and called him a racial slur.

The mother of the Black child called police after the incident, saying her child is now afraid to go to the park.

Graper told the police she did not threaten to kneel on the boy's neck but said "you wonder why you guys get (expletive) kneeled on," according to the newswire.

Unfortunately many seemingly smart people (average, everyday non-political junkies) are ignorant of the constitution and the concept of "federalism". Many have literally no clue about this and just see the names of the programs and think ("free" childcare, "free" college, etc., etc. "that is a good idea".

This ignorance and apathy are the main drivers of these crazy notions. Examples to be posted shortly.

The idea of "free" sells... even if they are just giving you back a portion of what they took in the first place, as long as you "think" it's free, it's all good.

When something is necessary for the maintenance of society, that, if ignored, would incur a greater cost, it is not "free". It is the smart thing to do.

  7. Maryland man allegedly kills pharmacist brother, citing his administration of COVID vaccine - ABC News

This is the logical conclusion of spreading disinformation and conspiracy theories. A large percentage of the population are gullible morons. This was bound to happen sooner or later. Tucker Carlson should be charged with complicity.

Man allegedly kills pharmacist brother, citing his administration of COVID vaccine (msn.com)

    (Full article at above link)

A Maryland man has been charged with killing his brother, a pharmacist, after going to confront him about "the government poisoning people with COVID vaccines," according to court documents.

Jeffrey Burnham allegedly killed his sister-in-law, another woman and his brother, who administered vaccines, saying he was "killing people," according to charging documents filed in Howard County, Maryland.

Burnham wanted to confront his brother about the vaccine and said that "Brian knows something!," according to investigators.

Police also believe that Burham may have killed one elderly woman, Rebecca Reynolds, in Cumberland, Maryland, before taking her car and traveling to the home of his brother. Reynolds was found with a deep laceration to her throat inside her home.

Burham has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder and use of a handgun in Howard County, Maryland. He was also charged with first degree murder and car theft in Allegany County, Maryland.

Burnham has not pleaded to the charges. His attorney did not not immediately respond to request for comment.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slams Joe Manchin's demands to cut working family policies from final spending bill

"Ah yes, the Conservative Dem position: 'You can either feed your kid, recover from your c-section, or have childcare so you can go to work - but not all three. All 3 makes you entitled and lazy. But fossil fuel $, keeping Rx prices high,& not taxing Wall St are 'non-negotiable."

She called that punk out. Friend or foe alike, if your policies hurt working people, you just made her list. We need more people like AOC in Washington. She is a friend to the working man.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slams Joe Manchin's demands to cut working family policies from final spending bill (msn.com)

    (Full article at above link)

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez criticized her fellow Democratic lawmaker, Sen. Joe Manchin, on Thursday, following reports that the West Virginia senator is telling colleagues that progressives need to nix some policies aimed at helping working families from the party's final spending bill.

Manchin is demanding progressive Democrats pick one of President Joe Biden's three policies and abandon the other two.

The current Build Back Better bill includes an expanded child tax credit, paid family medical leave, and subsidies for child care. But Manchin and other moderates' insistence on trimming the number of programs in the final package.

So all that money was wasted by the GOP.  They just threw it away for nothing.

Could have been used to give raises to policemen or soldiers.

But instead they just wasted it on something that was obviously unconstitutional.

They WANT big gov't; they are the party of big gov't.

    Yep, pretty much. Dumbasses.

Federal Judge Blocks Texas Judges, Clerk, and Other State Actors from Enforcing 'Flagrantly Unconstitutional' Anti-Abortion Law

    And... it's over. Unconstitutional.

Federal Judge Blocks Texas Judges, Clerk, and Other State Actors from Enforcing ‘Flagrantly Unconstitutional’ Anti-Abortion Law (msn.com)

    (Full article at above link)

A federal district court judge on Wednesday evening blocked a series of state actors from enforcing a restrictive anti-abortion law in Texas.

“A person’s right under the Constitution to choose to obtain an abortion prior to fetal viability is well established,” said Judge Robert Pitman in a 113-page order. “Fully aware that depriving its citizens of this right by direct state action would be flagrantly unconstitutional, the State contrived an unprecedented and transparent statutory scheme to do just that.”

The judge’s sweeping Wednesday evening preliminary injunction applies to “the State of Texas, including its officers, officials, agents, employees, and any other persons or entities acting on its behalf.” That includes “state court judges and state court clerks” who are together banned from “accepting or docketing, maintaining, hearing, resolving, awarding damages in, enforcing judgments in, enforcing any administrative penalties in, and administering any lawsuit brought pursuant to” an anti-abortion law signed this past summer.

The law is best known by its legislative moniker S.B. 8 or by its factually erroneous title — the “Heartbeat Act.”  It is technically now enshrined within the Texas Health and Safety Code.
