  1. I think the condition is called senility. If listening to someone on the radio can make a kind, compassionate, humane individual turn into a bigoted, racist/white supremist then that person had some real issues to begin with. Trying to convince non-white people that a racist man or woman on the radio is the reason for the existence of many racist/white supremacist is not gonna work.
  2. Whatever happened to the anti-war, pro-liberty, anti-prohibition (drugs), freedom minded, pro-privacy liberals from the 1960's? The current neo-liberals seem to be something different altogether.
  3. There is neither an academic nor an international legal consensus regarding the definition of the term terrorism.[1][2] Various legal systems and government agencies use different definitions. Moreover, governments have been reluctant to formulate an agreed upon, legally binding definition. These difficulties arise from the fact that the term is politically and emotionally charged.
  4. The vast majority of the politicians in Washington would not survive honest reporting. Of course, they may survive given that the public just keeps voting them, or their likeness, into office regardless.
  5. Working Americans are fighting back at the current time in the only way they know how; to vote and ask the government for relief. This is how we have been conditioned to deal with this issue. It will change when enough people start missing meals. The Democrats are told that this is all the Republicans fault and vice versa. Meanwhile, the vast majority of Washington politicians are multi-millionaires that somehow have convinced the working population that they are representing their best interest while really supporting big corporations who make them rich. As an example, corporations can make both parties jump on the immigration issue just to get cheap labor and no matter what the repubs say publicly, they will do what their masters tell them to do so look for that to get done this year. The Occupy movement was a disjointed attempt to bring many different issues to the forefront at the same time; its failure is the squarely on the shoulders of the movement founders and organizers. The MSM was complicit in exacerbating the confusion with the public. I think that one of the reasons that there is not more outrage from the public is because we (collectively) don't know what it is we really want. Sure we have these canned issues like the 1 percent vs. the 99 percent but that doesn't explain anything especially when the people we all elect are in the top 1 to 3 percent and have split loyalties. The corps and the 1 percent are more organized and very clear on what it is that they want while the rest of us are fighting over a mish mash of stuff.
